Nice jinx juicy
Hardly, he is a Michigan fan.
Like all the others I know, I'm sure they are disappointed, but don't care because they are still basking in last year
I was in Ann Arbor for lunch today, a very impressive showing of burnt orange throughout the crowd. I yelled derka a couple of times, but apparently there were no Surly posters nearby
add one to the Atlanta rapper tally
Rich Homie Quan dead at 33 - hits close to home, as the 2014 MSU football team adopted his hit "type of way" and there was nothing better than seeing old white man coach Dantonio dancing to it (can't find that right now though)
should SS be treated similar to a pension if figuring retirement investment allocation?
Because if, as an example, I draw $75k in SS and treasuries (blended) are paying 4%, wouldn't that give me an equivalent of about $2M in fixed income. Of course this calculation went haywire when treasuries were paying super low interest rates.
Remember the end of the day for your 401k is not the day you retire. I am hopeful to live 25 - 30 years post retirement, that seems like plenty of time for that money to multiply.
I haven't really done shit in months, except riding my 97+% in SPY, BRK & PRWAX
Been enough ups and downs on those that I didn't need to juice something for excitement
Home for 2 days, headed back to Houston tomorrow, more tests (blood work & scans) scheduled on Wednesday and if it all goes well the first immunotherapy treatment is on Thursday. 2nd immunotherapy is in 2 weeks, then more tests followed by another immunotherapy or the start of radiation. Amazing how quickly this has gone from knowing nothing to being headed into treatment.
Mrs Fairway is pretty optimistic, and that is a good thing.
Sitting at MD Anderson awaiting our first appointment of 5 appointments and 4 tests over the next 3 days. Feels like I'm staring into the abyss, trying to be cautiously optimistic and struggling not to see it as a black hole.
No idea what the path looks like after Thursday. Change is certain....fuck cancer. Putting our faith in the hands of the best cancer treatment there is.
Immamac - before I can fully commit to coming to the tailgate can you tell me if @Nicole44 will be there?
I fear for my life (and others) as I know there is a river that runs through Ann Arbor, and some big lakes nearby.
My dad passed away at 89, my mom at 92; both lived almost almost a decade longer than their longest living parent.
For financial planning purposes, I'm planning on a 50/50 chance to hit 100 (esp as medical care continues to improve). So I'm planning on filing when I turn 70, which will also benefit my wife (hopefully)
OP should show how big the advantage is at 85, 90 & 95 ( I'm to tired to do maths)
