  1. Don’t kink shame me!
  2. I admittedly have eclectic tastes. But if I’m getting a super Strat, it’s this one.
  3. Yuki's dive bomb on Danny Ric earlier this season put the final nail in the coffin for him at RB. It's one thing to be an ass on the radio, but almost damaging both cars post race because you don't like team orders will not play well at the big team.
  4. I’m considering this exact swap for my 3.6R Outback too. Hopefully, I can get a few more years out of the Subaru first though
  5. Thanks everyone. I only need to carry one bike, so the single 1-Up made the most sense. I can always order an add-on tray if I ever end up needing a second slot. Hopefully it will arrive by the weekend.
  6. I've been borrowing a friends bike for a while. Finally stepped up and grabbed one for myself. Trek is clearing out the old models, so I was able to snag a pretty good deal on a Roscoe 8 Talk to me about hitch mounts. I'm liking the 1-Up but it's kinda spendy. Are there better options or is this a buy once cry once scenario?
  7. Another option would be the Fender case rack. You can adjust the bottom cushions to whatever width you need. I'm not sure if the upper portion is tall enough to accommodate your cello. They come in 3, 5, or 7 slot models. Tweed or Tolex outer finish. Road runner makes a less expensive version. I have one and like it. But my cat sleeps in it.
  8. Not sure about the guitar amps, but I have an Orange Crush Bass amp that I absolutely love. I sold every other bass amp, because it is so versatile.
  9. It also has some pretty nice bass settings for home practice. It's super easy to set up favorites in the app
  10. Get whatever wearable she is actually willing to use and make sure she knows how to use it to call for help. Be kind but persistent on getting her to agree to use one. The Apple watch is more "hip" but she has to know how to use the SOS function and remember to charge the watch. Depending on how open to new tech your MIL is, that can be a barrier.
  11. This will probably get me thrown out of the Pron thread, but I’ve pretty much gone all in on Yamaha. The build quality for the price is amazing in the Indonesian lineup. The Japan made models are better than most US made options. Did you get the version with the P90 at the neck?
  12. I’m not sure it’s worth the effort to even try. It looks like someone scavenged it for parts. Who knows if it even works. It could be fun if you got it got free, but you could also have a $99 paperweight. I will say that I have the Yamaha THR II and I love it. It’s sounds fantastic, compatible with my old Line 6 G10 relay with no significant lag.
  13. I'd rather pay up and get the Lexus at that point.
  14. There is a 4Runner in my future as some point. But, I only have 16K miles on my Taco, so it's gonna be a while.
  15. It's so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend you picking one up.....
  16. If UH can somehow get the civil trial in front of a jury of Houstonians, Amy Adams may get the death penalty.
  17. Yeah, I am not a fan of the color at all. I know some people love it, but I am firmly on the opposite end of the spectrum: Team Fender Pastel. Also, Celery Man's picture smells like stale cigarette smoke.
  18. Looks like Antigua is back baby. CME has a full lineup of Squire options as well. https://www.chicagomusicexchange.com/products/fender-70th-anniversary-vintera-ii-antigua-stratocaster-1957192
  19. Also, are you flexible on color? This one is listed on Reverb as a demo at a brick and mortar store for $1279 and $50 shipping. Usually if you reach out outside of Reverb, they may be able to do a little better on price. https://www.shopmusicland.com/shop/c/p/DEMO-USED-Fender-American-Professional-II-Telecaster-Rosewood-Fingerboard-Mercury-w-Case-x58500256.htm https://reverb.com/item/41483247-demo-used-fender-american-professional-ii-telecaster-rosewood-fingerboard-mercury-w-case
  20. I have that guitar in black and love it. You can't go wrong with an American tele.
  21. Looks better in Ebony. Not good, but better.
  22. Subaru WRX and the vehicles with XT engines are CVT and turbo. Well, most of the WRX’s are manual transmission, but otherwise it’s a CVT.
  23. Lego should card buyers and offer an alternate set of bricks for 21+ that say "Marlboro" for the back.
  24. I have a Subaru Outback with a CVT. Maintenance has really been no different than any automatic transmission I’ve had in the past. Fluid was checked every 30,000 miles and replaced at 100,000. Cost to service the CVT seemed to be on par with automatic transmission expenses. I know Nissan and Audi had some 1st gen CVT reliability problems, but I think most other manufacturers are doing ok with them. I’m hoping to go 200,000 with this car.
