  1. Tractor Supply rubber horse stall mat. They are thick and super durable. Get as many as you need and just place them side by side. I tried the foam interlocking ones from Academy and they started to spit apart with any type of lateral movement on them. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/4-ft-x-6-ft-x-3-4-in-thick-rubber-stall-mat?cm_vc=-10005
  2. The Yamaha BB has crushed any desire for anything else. But if Sweetwater wanted to give me an unbelievable deal on this one, I’d be willing to talk the call from Fort Wayne.
  3. I have been on the home workout for years now. Just hated driving to the gym everyday. I also need some sort of plan going in or I will just kinda futz around and not really get in a good balance workout. For those looking for routines at home depending on your equipment options: AthleanX-Jeff Cavelier. He has a ton of plans from body weight only to full squat rack. Big focus on effective athletic moves and not doing stupid stuff to get hurt which is helpful for an old guy like me. I have done AX, AX2, XERO plus a few others. I am currently doing Monster Maker and have been pleased so far. Beachbody online: Cheap monthly streaming. Access to P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Insanity, Tony Horton One on One routines (Dumbell and cardio routines that are pretty good if you can tolerate TH's personality), Yoga, Body Beast (a really good weight training plan if you have access to a good supply of dumbbells and a weight bench). Beachbody can be a bit annoying with their trainer personalities, but in these difficult times its hard to be picky. TRX is another good option and there are some ass kicking schedules out there that will expose just how weak your core is while trying to press/curl etc. For the I don't have weights at home crowd, TRX and Athlean-X Xero could work. Here is a sample of the no body weight workout.
  4. Well, that is one good thing to come out of this pandemic.

  6. Are you talking 2021 late April/mid May? I don't see how MLB starts playing any real games that soon.
  7. https://scottsbasslessons.com It has a huge library of beginner to extremely advanced lessons, they do a lot of live seminars with video/chat. Today's seminar is with Danny Mo Morris. There is a pretty big online community/forum that I have found helpful. Only downside is that he does send a lot of emails about stuff, but I can probably filter that down if I really get sick of it.
  8. Scott's bass lesson subscription. Might as well be productive when I'm at home.
  9. In for a copy of the first vinyl run.
  10. Nice! Quite the pawnshop score.
  11. In the interest of safety, I am willing to house and quarantine that Jazzmaster and Tele until this pandemic blows over.
  12. Out of rep. Both of those are great!
  13. Depending on what car you have this may not work. I bought the entire spare tire kit (donut, jack, tire tool etc and the foam holder) from a different trim model that had it standard. My car had the fix a flat pump and sealant and not run flats, however. Fits into the same space.
  14. Hope springs eternal.
  15. More bass is always better. Can I be an honorary member of the middle aged woman's Nirvana bass club? I'll go start pulling some Heart Shaped Box and Smells Like Teen Spirit tabs.
  16. Interested in the Buffalo Cauliflower recipe if you can post it.
  17. The Beyma 15G40 works out to less than $10/year if your amp track record longevity continues. You could possibly have the worlds first sleeper amp. Looks like an old clapped out 80's Peavey. Plugged in, it sounds like the wrath of God....
  18. https://usspeaker.com/us speaker 4 ohm speakers-1.htm More options here. Some are significantly more than you are looking to spend.
  19. Can we try a joint custody arrangement for the stadiums? April/May/Sept in the old ballpark and June/July/Aug in the new one?
  20. So, how does it sound at home?
  21. So, own one guitar per song? I am comfortable with this plan.
  22. https://8thstreet.com/Product/Get/20305/peavey-1508-4-sps-bwx-black-widow-15-inch-2000-watt-4-ohm-speaker Listed as a PA speaker. Would it work? They have a 12% off promotion going on too
  23. Same video, just less safety equipment for the workers.
  24. To be honest, you lost me at "being casual enough to not be able to justify a new amp"..... Talkbass is usually pretty positive on the Eminence bass speakers. Looking at Sweetwater, one purchaser had the exact same amp as you and it works well/easy swap. Rated 5/5Great Speaker at a Great Price Point I recently bought one of these Eminence CA154 Legends to replace a 30+ year old Peavey 1505-DT 4 Ohm Black Widow in my mid-80s Peavey KB300 Keyboard amp. The original speaker had developed a nasty rattle when pushed with my Vox Continental organ. The new Eminence speaker was a simple swap out and used all the same screw holes. The magnet is much lighter than the original, 56 oz compared to over 14 lbs on the old one. I didn't know if that would make a tonal difference or not but I figured I'd chance it and see since the 1505-DT 4 Ohm is not one of the speakers that Peavey offers a simple re-cone kit for. I installed the Eminence Legend today which took all of 5 minutes and the amp sounds better than new. If you're unfamiliar with the KB300, it's a typical old Peavey - LOUD and a ton of low end - and this speaker handles my Vox organ through it with no problem at all - not a rattle to be heard anywhere and the full range of even my Korg SV-1 stage piano is clean and clear even when pushing the volume. For just over a hundred bucks, this is a great speaker. I might be upgrading my old GK Backline 115 with one of these soon too now that I've heard it. close by Bob McGrath from Poestenkill, NY on October 2, 2019 Music background: Keys, Bass and Guitar in local Classic Rock bands for almost 60 years
  25. Omega will generally do exactly that when they discuss what you would like to have done to it. If you can get down to Houston, the Omega Boutique in the Galleria would take solid care of you. Boutique stores are a bit more service oriented and frequently have a watchmaker onsite that you can talk to. If you decide to go independent, Little Watch Co in Houston or possibly Time Tech in Dallas https://time-tech.biz/ would be good options.
