  1. I don’t think anybody is outspending us in women’s basketball. That’s been pretty obvious the last 2 or 3 recruiting cycles. We already have the #4 recruit committed and might lead for two more top 10 recruits. It’s pretty obvious we have some big spenders on the women’s basketball side.
  2. I don't think comparing D's matters much. I think OU's D has to be dominant to win this because your offense sucks. I don't think OU's defense is dominant but probably decent.
  3. These are the offenses OU's defense has faced per FEI. Temple (#130) Houston (#109) Tulane (#35) Tennessee (#25) Auburn (#72) I thought OU's defense might be decent after the Tennessee game but now I'm pretty sure Tennessee's offense was just drastically overrated. Arkansas shut them down too. Not sure OU has faced a top 30 offense yet. Granted, we haven't played a good offense yet either.
  4. You're telling me this guy coming out of HS might have issues with being a fatty?
  5. I think there's also something to not peaking early. We've had some teams that were so dominant early in the season that they could just coast throughout the season.
  6. This is starting to feel a lot like last year's team. Started off slow but gradually improved throughout the year.
  7. Last year was also proof that scheduling tough in non-conference is not a good idea with NET. Beating the shit out of bad teams gets rewarded with NET. That's just the system unfortunately.
  8. Next year's roster could be insane. The type of roster like the volleyball roster from 2 years ago where you say "anything other than a national title is a dissapointment."
  9. On paper, Baker was a weird hire. But the type of weird hire that makes you think he was recommended by a lot of people.
  10. It's been discussed here already, but one of the huge advantages OU had in recent years was playing a soft schedule where they could run entirely new stuff against us. Feels like that's a major advantage for us this year. We've been able to stay in a very base D because offenses have been unable to challenge us. I don't think we've shown much of anything yet on D personnel/scheme-wise.
  11. So are we starting to think Kenny Baker was a good hire now?
  12. Higher than people expect. The Tennessee loss was one thing but they were 1 or 2 plays away from losing to really bad teams in UH and Auburn. This is a bottom tier SEC team.
  13. Did they have success? They ran the ball 50 times for 150 yards. Some decent runs mixed in with a lot of negative plays behind the line of scrimmage. PK seemed content just letting Mississippi State be conservative and keeping the ball in front.
  14. Plus 2 missed field goals. OU might not be favored in another SEC game this year. Maybe against South Carolina but I'm not even sure about that. OU was lucky to escape with a win yesterday or going winless in the SEC was 100% on the table.
  15. The spread was that high because Mississippi State normally plays uptempo. Like CSU, they completely changed how they played against us. Ran the ball a lot and just tried to control time of possession. I guess only losing by 22 is a win for a SEC school.
  16. OU is not good. Really should have lost to a bad Auburn team. Outgained 482 yards to 291 yards but somehow won.
  17. It will be interesting what PK does against better competition because he is rotating a lot. There can't be many teams playing their backups as much as us.
  18. Sark was already livid at the refs because it's pretty clear the DL is simulating snap counts.
  19. Sark was just cussing out the officials. DL must be simulating the snap.
  20. Love this from Sark. Trust your young QB against a terrible secondary that's banged up.
