  1. This is over if we just don't fall in love with jump shots. Xavier can't keep us out of the paint off the dribble.
  2. Every jump shot is a bad shot. It's either a foul or layup when we take it to the rim.
  3. They cannot stop us off the dribble. Get to the rim.
  4. Tre needs to stop jacking jumpers. Put your head down and get to the rim.
  5. Xavier doesn't have the athletes to stay in front of us off the dribble. Take it to the rim.
  6. I think the Elite 8 is a pretty big advantage for us if we get Ohio State. I think we win that fairly easily. While TCU and ND will probably be in a battle. Then 2 days later they have to play 40 minutes of hell. I think that's going to be a problem for either TCU or ND.
  7. I thought size would be a major issue for Yale but per T-Rank Yale is #23 in defensive rebounding percentage. So despite their size issues, they rebound the ball really well on the defensive end. Yeah, I can see why Yale over aggy is a sexy upset pick. aggy's strength is offensive rebounding and Yale is a good defensive rebounding team. Also, aggy's weakness at times is defending the 3 and Yale is one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the country.
  8. A lot of people let their desire to fire Terry cloud their judgement. We clearly had the best resume out of all the bubble teams and it wasn’t particularly close.
  9. The LSU series will be interesting. They're probably really good but they've also played absolutely nobody. #257 Strength of schedule so far.
  10. Yeah, aggy 3 point defense is pretty suspect at times and Yale is one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the country. The problem for Yale is they have no size so they will probably get killed on the boards.
  11. aggy's region might be the juiciest. A&M vs Yale and Michigan vs UC San Diego have potential for upsets. Both of those low seeded teams are really good.
  12. I mean we could very well lose the first game but it's like the basketball gods want to save RT. First Four game is against Xavier: Not even a top 40 team that doesn't have many good wins all year. Round of 64: Notorious choker in the tournament in Underwood who has only advanced out of the 1st weekend 1 time. Round of 32: Potentially a Kentucky team we've already beaten.
  13. Yeah but I don't think that's what Weiner/Schloss want on Sunday. At least that's what I've interpreted from what Schloss has said in some PC's. It sounds like he actually wants a bullpen type day on Sundays where he throws several arms and gives different looks. I could be totally wrong but I think he's going to just keep chasing wins on Friday and Saturday then piece it together on Sunday. Sorry, if my above post wasn't clear.
  14. I don't think any of them are going to give you distance as a starter anyways. More value out of the pen.
  15. or them blowing a 20 point lead in Austin. We're in pretty much because aggy went full aggy twice.
  16. Give Weiner all the money. I thought our lineup would be good but did not expect the pitching to be this good.
  17. aggy's lineup is pitiful. Yikes, they aren't even making a regional are they?
  18. That's because our Quad 2 losses weren't bad. 4 of those 5 losses were against tournament teams. It's also another reason UNC should not have made the tournament. Everyone was hyping UNC's 8 Quad 2 wins and none of those were against tournament teams.
  19. He had some other bad misses like Indiana. It was clear the top 2 bubble teams were Texas and Xavier based on the metrics. Then San Diego State. Somehow he had Indiana seeded above 2 of those and he even said he was close to seeding Indiana over SDSU too.
  20. All this has taught me is that Lunardi is really bad at his job. It's insane he's some authority on this when he's ranked #118 in bracketmatrix. He's terrible.
