  1. Must have started a thread with an unlocked phone in his little spandex while riding his bike
  2. You want my recipe for spicy ketchup? I'm pretty sure it's on par with Whataburger's.
  3. Why not just make your own spicy ketchup? It's probably a bit better, even healthier (no corn syrup etc)
  4. Well, trickle up is easily identified by putting capital in the hands of those who spend it. I can't remember what his exact figure is, but it's a solid majority of Americans that can't afford an unexpected $500.00 bill. Putting a couple trillion dollars in the hands of the lower and middle class, money that would circulate around 7 times before leaving that community, would in effect "trickle up." #2 is a direct statement that he makes quite a bit. Yang states quite often that GDP is a horrible measurement of how our economy is actually doing. We need to focus our reporting on the economy to numbers that reflect how we're actually b doing. Health and wellness, environment, etc... Of course, the first statement is just a clear-cut fact.
  5. No, that's the first step in a policy group that tries to build what he calls a "trickle up" economy. It's not supposed to replace work at all, which is why it's not more. In his research, they landed on that figure for a variety of reasons.
  6. I would rather not. I'm in the middle of closing a restaurant
  7. I guess you'll just continue to speak on it, then... He speaks directly to several of your points. I don't know why you'd choose not to watch because of the source, but the information is there.
  8. I see that you didn't listen to that podcast. You're a bit misinformed.
  9. Yes it is. Triple bottom line changes the way companies see their role in the world
  10. He really did well to get to the issues with Yang. Very little debate, no grandstanding or lecturing. He asked prudent questions and I never saw any interruption, other than to clarify his questions... I wish Pete would. But most of all I wish Pete would just come up with some fucking policies. He's still just promising everything to everyone. Maybe that's why he won't go on that show.
  11. Fucking Andrew Yang's appearance on the Rubin Report was outstanding. If the person who is the candidate doesn't see the danger of automation and the upcoming shift in our economy, we're all fucked anyways. So, unless we get behind him enough to get his ideas at least looked at, well, this country deserves what it will get. We're looking to dinosaurs to solve problems they can't even fathom. So we're probably fucked anyway.
  12. Amazing podcast. He's truly the only person who gets it
  13. Yang https://my.yang2020.com/r?u=GQ96LxW7tJscudkL8mlwNzVEKXk7dMDJzwJlfbbiiRZGOFJoPXHV18p-3Rq27EKe&e=c24546c91ca265fb384ae55dff98c300&utm_source=yang2020&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=060619_cnn_video_2&n=2
  14. Not understanding the question but yes, in Texas you always have to tell the dmv when you move no matter what your license plate looks like. Offender, short for sex offender... Something we used to say when I was younger... Maybe too much of an inside joke
  15. Offender... Short for "sex offender" Something we used to say when I was younger. Probably too much of an inside joke.
  16. Why the fuck would Chad Briscoe be banned?
  17. Do you have to tell someone when you move, and give them your new address?
  18. This is what I'm referring to.
  19. So, what you're saying is, maybe someone should speak on the idea that we are about to be proper fucked by automation soon, and maybe have a plan to fix it? According to Yang, the reason Trump got elected in the first place is because around 3 million jobs were automated away in the rust belt states that went to Trump. Maybe someone should listen? Naaah... Let's just silence that voice, right? Seems a little contrary to your first post where he needs to find an issue, etc
  20. That's not as true as you may think, especially considering why we need it to happen (automation), its feasibility, and the projected outcomes that have been hidden. What are you even worried about if it's just 1%, as you say? What candidate would that even effect? It's more than just UBI, and having been a leader in the field, I'm pretty sure he understands the coming dangers.
  21. Do you even know anything about Yang? I'm not going to go back and find your next post about finding an issue... But Yang is literally running because of the issue of the coming wave of automation. His main focus is to meet the new economy that is coming head-on. And get a job? I'm pretty sure that his company, venture for America, is what led him to the conclusions about the coming changes that no one else is talking about. We're about 8 years away from a drastic change and no one is even talking about it except him. Please educate yourself about him
  22. Every time I open my Chrome browser on my phone, I get suggested stories. It suggests Fox News stories on a regular basis. I don't even open them, I just swipe them off. It seems like they're coming more often. I refuse to even read them at all, yet I still keep getting them. I have gone through every setting, every Google article, and tried to use the methods they suggest but to no avail.
