  1. I'm logged into the espn app and it's telling me "This game will start at 7:00 PM." It's 7:13, motherfuckers!
  2. I am confident in saying that "Nuggative Nelly" might be the worst ad campaign in history.
  3. Cameraman shows us some moron with a Christmas tree on his head, but covers up the two hotties in front of him with a stat graphic. Be better, ESPN.
  4. I never have understood this trope. If someone shows up and says their going to take care of my work, but I'll still get my normal salary, then I'm not going to raise a fuss.
  5. Tessitore is the most ESPN announcer on ESPN. He starts the broadcast with a storyline and no matter what happens in the game, he sticks to that storyline. I knew before the game started that he was going to talk about Skattebo all game. If Skattebo had gotten hurt in the first quarter, Galindo would spend the rest of the game asking, "How can Arizona St continue without their star running back, the heart and soul of their offense?" He just picks one thing to obsess over and never lets it go.
  6. It needs to be postponed. You can't have 80,000 people come together a mile away from where a major terrorist attack took place less than 24 hours ago when we still don't know if this guy had any accomplices.
  7. I'd be cool with getting the Mizzou kicker here by Wednesday.
  8. There's no doubt that the NFL is much more popular than the NBA, but you have to take those numbers with a huge grain of salt, since they came from Netflix. Netflix claimed that people from over 200 countries watched NFL games on Christmas, which is a little odd seeing as the United Nations only recognizes 195 countries. So either Netflix is fudging their numbers or they're recognizing breakaway republics in Southeastern Kg-hifa-yourmom-istan as independent countries.
  9. Greg Gumbel getting in right under the wire.
  10. Oh most definitely. However, I would also pay good money to sit in a room and have her read bad things about me, such as what a naughty boy I've been and so forth.
  11. We're not suggesting that fast-food workers should make six figures. We just trying to give someone working 40 hours a week a small break so they can hopefully save some money and flourish. Let me make an analogy that might help: imagine if rep was money and a poster was struggling with getting rep (or money, in this case). It would be like a user creating a sock account just to give themselves more rep. It wouldn't be enough for them to become the highest repped poster, but it would keep them out of the red. But what am I saying? My analogy is a little silly, because no one would ever do something like that. RIght?
  12. OK, we're gonna need someone to explain to Kenny the difference between an ounce and a fluid ounce. Make sure to use small words when you do it.
  13. They all know and no you haven't. Fair catching a punt inside the 50 with time for one play before the end of the half is pretty much the only time that attempting that kick would make sense. That rarely, rarely happens.
  14. From Tuscon, Arizonia.
  15. It's a fine balance when trying to make a roux. You don't want to use too much heat and burn it, but you also need to make sure it's at a high enough temperature to kill the germs from the bird.
  16. You are correct. I must have missed those last night.
  17. Same here. Is there a way to see the other scenes?
  18. How old are your kids? Can they run the washer/dryer or help with folding?
  19. Having an alumni recognition game against a patsy school where tickets will be plentiful is pretty standard practice across schools and sports. That why you always see the band reunion or football cheerleader reunion weekend happening when we play ULM and not Georgia. Big games are when you recognize one alum, not all of them.
  20. I feel like laugh tracks stopped around 2000, at least for the shows I watched. Seinfeld, Frasier, and Friends had it in the 90s, but by the time you got to the 2000s, Parks and Rec and The Office didn't.
