  1. OK, that's just silly. Give the MAGA followers a little bit of credit. At least they know that he went to the moon after his dad, Han Solo.
  2. Federer's tribute to Nadal. If anyone needs me, I'll be over here letting the dust in my house get to me. "As you get ready to graduate from tennis, I've got a few things to share before I maybe get emotional. Let's start with the obvious: you beat me -- a lot. More than I managed to beat you. You challenged me in ways no one else could. On clay, it felt like I was stepping into your backyard, and you made me work harder than I ever thought I could just to hold my ground. "You made me reimagine my game -- even going so far as to change the size of my racquet head, hoping for any edge. I'm not a very superstitious person, but you took it to the next level. Your whole process. All those rituals. "Assembling your water bottles like toy soldiers in formation, fixing your hair, adjusting your underwear... All of it with the highest intensity. Secretly, I kind of loved the whole thing. Because it was so unique -- it was so you. "And you know what, Rafa, you made me enjoy the game even more. OK, maybe not at first. After the 2004 Australian Open, I achieved the No. 1 ranking for the first time. I thought I was on top of the world. And I was -- until two months later, when you walked on the court in Miami in your red sleeveless shirt, showing off those biceps, and you beat me convincingly. All that buzz I'd been hearing about you -- about this amazing young player from Mallorca, a generational talent, probably going to win a major someday -- it wasn't just hype. "We were both at the start of our journey and it's one we ended up taking together. Twenty years later, Rafa, I have to say: What an incredible run you've had. Including 14 French Opens -- historic! You made Spain proud ... you made the whole tennis world proud. "My final match. It meant everything to me that you were there by my side -- not as my rival but as my doubles partner. Sharing the court with you that night, and sharing those tears, will forever be one of the most special moments of my career. "Rafa, I know you're focused on the last stretch of your epic career. We will talk when it's done. For now, I just want to congratulate your family and team, who all played a massive role in your success. And I want you to know that your old friend is always cheering for you, and will be cheering just as loud for everything you do next."
  3. Why do you think he's giving it to the black guy?
  4. I honestly have no idea if this is a joke or not.
  5. I'm getting "Trump makes Romney dine with him" vibes. Seriously, dinner is his way of making people bend the knee, right?
  6. Federal Reserve chair so she can prime my pump.
  7. Is there an option on bluesky to see the first unread post when I refresh instead of the newest post? This shit is driving me nuts.
  8. If this guy is the new hire you're training at the "pharmacy", you've got bigger problems than just a job.
  9. Yeah, my wife has the same problem and always says she's too tired for the hole thing.
  10. I guess I'm in the minority, because I really didn't like the series. There was one fantastic episode and that's about it. I finished it because I was already pot committed, but I found myself getting distracted during the finale and really didn't care what happened in the end. It didn't work as a superhero show, because there was no mention of any superhero (until the last minute of the last episode). It didn't work as a gangster show, because it was too silly and campy and it just ripped off The Sopranos (everything with his mother), The Godfather (terrible attempt at the Baptism Scene in the last episode), and Goodfellas (flashbacks where he's fawning over gangsters) without adding anything original.
  11. What able-bodied, adult male needs help spraying a wasp nest? I'm glad Colt is getting some airtime, but that's stupid.
  12. Bringing a live tiger into the stadium ended in 2015. And as to the bolded, the Golden Girls were an integral part of Young HOTB's path to maturity and eventually "Creepy Old Man".
  13. The first time the Death Star is shown, we hear Eye in the Sky. I think it could work.
  14. My son wanted to get an Instagram account, so we told him OK as long as we could monitor it. I was looking through his feed and noticed that Ms. Dunne was one of his first follows.
  15. Listen to your friend, Billy Zane. He's a cool dude.
  16. Does bluesky have the option to see the oldest posts first and then scroll up to the newest ones? Ridiculous that it didnt for a long time.
  17. They have a portable cage Mike used to sit in on the visitor's sideline until people realized it might be a bad idea to subject a lion to bright lights and 100,000 screaming people.
  18. This is some Huey Long shit right here.
  19. Just throw a beer at it and it'll run away and hide.
  20. Be careful. The cops are reading this.
  21. I have a favor to ask. Can someone please remind me in four hours to consult a doctor?
