  1. Think about it, sheeple. Who benefits if beef is outlawed? None other than Colonel Sanders and his wee beady eyes.
  2. Fair. But I would like to have sexual relations with President Meyer, so I'll just list her.
  3. "Branson, Missouri. My dad says it's like Vegas if it were run by Ned Flanders."
  4. I think this is my list too, but I might sub out Jack for Selena Meyer.
  5. I agree with you that he is offside. No question his foot is past the defender. But I don't agree that he broke the spirit of the law. The rule is in place to prevent an attacker from just parking themselves way downfield and that is obviously not what happened here. I hate thinking of it like this, but we just have too much info. If we didn't have the computer simulation and could only rely on the video, no one would complain if the goal was allowed. Well OK, the Germans would complain, but no one would take them seriously. It's similar to baseball when a runner slides into second, clearly beats the tag, but as he's sliding his body comes off the bag for a split second while the tag is being applied, and he's called out. By the letter of the law, he is out. But in the spirit of the law, he should be safe since he reached the bag before the tag was applied. And with just real time video, no one would complain. But because we have HD super slo-mo video zoomed in on the bag, we can see his body barely left the bag when his armpit passed over and he's called out. It's stupid.
  6. OK, but then you're just shifting the debate to "Is there a sliver of daylight or not?" and I don't think that solves anything if you do a computer replay. Maybe the solution is VAR can step in if there is a clearly wrong call, but the ref has to see it on the monitor without the aide of a computer drawing lines on a simulation.
  7. I completely agree and my son and I were both saying during the match that there has to be some ref's discretion in cases like this. But what is the solution? I don't want to completely get rid of VAR because there are definitely times when it's needed to correct a clearly blown call. And obviously, by the letter of the law, he was offside. Of course it's bullshit, but I don't know how to change the rule without creating more problems.
  8. This is where I am. If I was 100% sure Gregggg would get fired with a loss, then I would probably root for it. But I don't trust the leadership to do that or to make the right hire even if they shitcan him.
  9. Donald Jr will top that when he picks Fitlump to be his running mate in the 2032 election.
  10. The whole season has dropped. I just finished the first episode and that's enough for tonight. Shit is too intense to watch more than one.
  11. Roflbox is going overseas. Are we thinking this becomes a screwball comedy, a major international incident, or a little bit of both?
  12. I'll take 7 for the peace and quiet. As long as I don't say anything about kroner, Puddy will just stare at the seat in front of him.
  13. Last night Mrs. HornOnTheBayou was giving me the "Hey come to bed" eyes since it was getting late and I was leaving town for a week. I let the dogs out for one more piss thinking about what was awaiting me in the bedroom. But Edgar had different plans. He decided to get sprayed by a skunk and then run into the house. Obviously, chaos insued. More obviously, nothing happened in the bedroom afterwards. But he feels bad.
  14. I'm doing a re-watch and it is fantastic. "I'm eating so much pussy, I'm shitting clits." "This is an elementary school!"
  15. Somebody better have gifed that.
  16. Alanis Morissette singing the Canadian anthem in an American stadium? That is not what I expected. Has Alanis Morissette ever sung a song about other unexpected things?
  17. He fucked me, then he fucked me. What is he trying to do, fuck me?
  18. Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.
  19. Yep. Bonhoeffer was a legit badass and his story should be told. But this movie is definitely not going to do that. I'm not a Christian, but The Cost of Discipleship is an incredible book. If Christians today did their best to follow Bonhoeffer's example, the world would be a better place.
  20. A lot of people are saying it was the best adultery.
  21. No fucking way. I live off Mopac and outside of rush hour, I rarely have issues. 35 is a permanent parking lot downtown and in Round Rock.
  22. Wow. The kids who walk on your lawn this afternoon are definitely gonna get a talking-to.
