  1. This is big. One of the only real drawbacks to YTV is you can't watch the Rangers, Astros, Spurs, etc. But if Amazon is going to stream them, that should take care of it.
  2. I'll add this one to my list. Snyder is a fantastic author. I'm in the middle of Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin right now. You know, I wanted something fun and light-hearted to read during the winter doldrums.
  3. Just wait till the electrical grid fails this morning and then do it.
  4. That'll take more than a tweet to accomplish. It's just odd. I saw the Chargers do the same about interviewing Harbaugh.
  5. Is there a new rule that says teams have to publicly announce who've they interviewed? I don't remember tweets like this in the past. It was always reports like, "Sources say coach X is meeting with team Y today for the second time."
  6. You know what you have to do.
  7. Good answers so far. But long story short, TEA does not count virtual days as school days. So you can't count a student absent, you can't hold them accountable for doing that day's work, and the minutes would have to be made up at some other point during the school year.
  8. I'll tell you, Barney Rubble never grabbed a strange woman by the pussy. He knew he outkicked his coverage when he landed Betty and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that.
  9. Why you got to disrespect Kevin Sorbo and not put him on the list?
  10. In this situation, I don't understand the point of a two-hour delay. It'll still be freezing two hours later. Either cancel or have a full day.
  11. Funny you mentioned attendance. Don't forget that state funding is based on a district's attendance rate. I'm sure district leaders are thinking about what would happen to funding if they open and only 70% of students show up.
  12. That better be shopped or fake or some kind of ridiculous early April Fool's joke or some sort of elaborate viral marketing thing.
  13. Ha ha. I am in the same boat and did the exact same thing during last year's freeze. I have an old work lamp from my grandfather that gets hot as hell. Back from the good ol' days when no one cared about things like "safety" or "efficency".
  14. Does an amazing job of drawing a through line of the lies and propaganda from 9/11 to the war in Iraq to Trump.
  15. I'd like to make merry in attic of club with the lass on the left. Especially if it's at a "rowdy party".
  16. They have a pretty damn good case in that situation. It was an obvious PI.
  17. "It's very nice." "You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really." "What do you call this?" "Well, this piece is called 'Lick My Love Pump'."
  18. Is browning a beard some kind of kinky sex move the kids are doing these days?
  19. Agreed. That beard is way too wispy and needs to be trimmed.
  20. Alright, tell me if this is something I should worry about. A few weeks ago, the water main in front of my house started leaking. The city fixed it and everything was fine. When they were done, they just threw a bunch of dirt on it and left. They said someone would come fill it in better later. Well, of course being Austin city government, that hasn't happened yet. It didn't bother me, because I knew it wouldn't get fixed right away, but now I'm worried that our water pipes are too exposed. Should I put some more dirt on this before Sunday? Is there a better option to insulate these pipes? We didn't have any water problems during the last two storms, but now I'm a little worried.
  21. Thanks for the response. He didn't watch Daredevil, because he was too young at the time, but I would let him now.
