  1. Seriously this. I turned it off when Uncles Baby Billy and Rico were awkwardly sitting at dinner AGAIN, mainly because I was tired but also because I was bored to tears. Season 1 was great. Season 2 was fine. I'm not sure if I'm going to finish this season.
  2. I never thought I was claustrophobic until I had a MRI. Before I went in, the tech warned me to just keep my eyes closed and relax. After a couple of minutes of being in the tube, I opened my eyes. Fuck that shit. I closed them back tight and spent the next 30 minutes fighting off the urge rip out the IV from my arm and bang my way out of there.
  3. Top 5 greatest Seinfeld moments (in no particular order): 1) "What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?" 2) The Junior Mint falling 3) "Well, we really need to make the movie." "Yeah, time is what he is indicating there." 4) "Well that's perverse!" 5) "Why don't you just tell me what movie you want to see?"
  4. I assumed she actually did die, there was a body, but Lumon got the body later and brought her back to life. Not sure if Lumon caused the car crash or not, but I am leaning towards yes. I thought it was all one innie Gemma doing all of that. At the beginning of the episode when she asked the nurse how many rooms she had to go into, she sighed when she heard six. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like all the rooms were about making Zombie Gemma "human" again. The Gemma we saw last night was much more responsive and with it than Ms. Casey was last season. She's finally showing emotions, making decisions, problem solving by trying to escape, etc.
  5. Is next week the season finale? It will be episode 8 and season 1 was eight episodes.
  6. Gene Hackman better be the last person mentioned in the "In memoriam" section.
  7. At first, my interest was piqued. Then I remembered what the average Bucees customer looks like. I am no longer piqued.
  8. I keep going back and forth on this show. There's the seed of a really great show with a cool plot and good acting, but the writing is bad and some of the plot lines are just straight dumb: It could also be that the whole "billionaire meglomaniac controls the president from behind the scenes" thing is a little too close for comfort these days.
  9. 1) Contributes absolutely nothing of value to any discussion. Mostly just tweets of dubious value 2) Contributes absolutely nothing of value to any discussion, but uses big words to do it. 3) See #2 4) bothsides
  10. RIP Roberta Flack
  11. Yeah, that guy was a bit of a dick.
  12. This is the winner right here. A close second:
  13. This would be great advice if only Magats were suffering from these decisions. If Trump was walking around punching himself in the balls, I would happily sit back and say, "Keep punching yourself in the balls". But this is not the time to sit back and let TFG make mistakes because we are all sufffering!
  14. Damn, that was an intense episode.
  15. For the love of all things holy, please don't do this. Just don't.
  16. Yeah, I'm trying to figure out @Mittens train of thought: "Wow, Lavar Ball had his foot amputated. Hurry, I need to tell the guys on surly. Oof, no one has talked about him for three years so I'll need to bump a really old thread. Oh look at that, there's a Big Baller thread on the first page. What serendipity! I'll post this breaking news that no one found out before me on this thread that was mysteriously bumped from three fucking years ago."
  17. My first thought was but upon further reflection
  18. This is a very clear 1, 2, 3, x situation (jt or non-jt method).
  19. Definitely my favorite episode. Sam Richardson kills it in everything he's in.
