  1. What are you seeing for 7/1 and 30 for non-primary residence? Home is in Indiana.
  2. It's not really shit-talking to call any male member of the Sanders family a douchebag asshole, is it? It's one thing to be flexing and talking performance-based shit to CU when you are down 28-3. It's totally legit to call a Sanders a fucking selfish douchebag prick.
  3. UF will have to do a reset. There is no combination of coordinator shifts or lower-level coaching changes that will salvage this. They are hiring tier 2 coordinators fired for poor performance at the likes of Baylor. They're doomed until the reset occurs.
  4. That is pretty wild - and sad. 198-1984 had around 56% of #1 hits from bands. And that was during the era of Blondie, David Bowie, John Lennon's final album, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, etc. Oh and Rick Astley This is an interesting resource https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UK_singles_chart_number_ones_of_the_1980s
  5. All of this can be simultaneously true: - Perry's vocals sound like shit and have for the better part of 5 years. Seems like he has not been doing the proper warmup and warmdown for normal vocalists, much less the "screamer" types. Axl Rose has kept his voice in shape through disciplined pre-show warmups and and post-show warmdowns. And he will readily admit some days are better than others. - Perry's in-ear monitors are not adequate. Regardless, if his voice is failing, he'll still sound horrible. - Perry was hammered - Perry was high. - Stage monitors were too loud. This could be for many reasons. Navarro wants to hear himself better or they want to drown out Perry or both. - JA's band is sounding pretty damned good.
  6. Mea culpa. Looks like the update the per-voter tracking a bit later than the overall poll. That said, Kurt's deserves our resentment.
  7. Kurt Bowels has Texas #2 behind UGA. No surprise. https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll?voter=Kirk Bohls&organization=Houston Chronicle EDIT - It appears that the per-voter tracking updates later than the overall poll. When I pulled the data, the poll was recent, but Bohls' data was not.
  8. Lights were added to that stadium in 2017. Night games (infrequent) always required renting lights.
  9. I attended UND @ Purdue. It was about as bad as the score indicates - 66-7: UND. Card looks like he's regressed and he still tries to spin his way out of sacks and out-athlete superior defenders. Was a beautiful day in West Lafayette. BUT... WTF is the high safety doing playing 25 yards off the LOS against a QB who really cannot throw?
  10. Always a good call to see Bunnymen early in the tour. I saw them in Austin in 2022 and they canceled the next few shows b/c of Ian's voice. He was having back problems at the time and went off stage to get a backrub (not the Deshawn Watson. type) so Will got to take over with an instrumental for a few minutes. I've seen them a bunch of times over the years. Will's playing seems to be getting stronger; Ian claims to be off drugs, which will prolong his career. /csb Saw them at a bar on 4th St on the tour when Ian had left the band. Was standing in the bar/poolhall area of the place, as the opening act was just not very good. Started talking to a guy. He had a strong British accent, so I asked if he was touring w/ the band. He said, "Yes, I'm Noel, the lead singer." Oops. It was Noel Burke, but I did not know what he looked like b/c the Reverberation liner notes did not contain photos. He invite me to join them back stage after. Went back there, and he says, "Hey boilerhorn - thanks for joining." Drank w/ them and some others for a bit. Until Will bought a bag of coke from some rando. Time for me to leave. /csb
  11. Here's a full show from June. Perry's holding up a bottle of wine backstage before he goes on. I did a quick scan of some of the songs. Summertime Rolls was "ok", but he seems to be singing all around the beat and struggles to hit some of the notes at times. "Ocean Size" - music was great; voice was a little off - a little flat on almost all of the high notes. Same for "Mountain Song" and the others. "Been Caught Stealing" sounded shitty IMO. Perry sounds high/drunk/off during his monologues. His voice seems to weaken and sound worse the further he proceeds. "Jane Says" was very disappointing, The band sounds great. Perry does not. He's always struck me as being a borderline crazy person. Add lots of drugs and drink to that and you get what @Gil Bang posted.
  12. C’mon Bianco. I hope you intentionally left out “250” or another large number between “favorite” and “people”.
  13. I think they are letting him talk because it’s a form of self immolation
  14. ABIA's problems are not just reserved to the travelers. The dropoff/pickup folks suffer because the traffic management there is horrific. Darn near every well run airport moves the parking, dropoff, and taxi folks into different spaces - each of those spaces do not get in the way of the other. EVERY passenger coming or going from ABIA has to walk in front of some form of traffic. When it goes well, ABIA is decent; when it does not, it is utter shit. And we are not even addressing the problems of international travel into that airport. I will admit that ABIA was far better when I had status that got me into lounges. Suffer a little - get to the lounge - and relax. No dealing with the masses. That all said, I travel mostly to the following airports: IND, PDX, SJC, EWR, SFO. I've ranted about this before, but IND and PDX are at a different tier. Perhaps I am just a little grumpy that I had to pay $15 (before tax and tip) for a pint of Southern Heights Tahitian Dreaming yesterday. And just happened to be sitting next to a Michigan fan who said to a rando, "Well we lost 13 guys to the draft last year..." I had to let him know that Texas lost 11.
  15. Sheddeur not really looking like an NFL talent right now.
  16. Does CU have someone on staff to carry Travis Hunter’s helmet for him on the way to the locker room?
  17. I think there are 6A HS teams in Texas w/ better OL and DL than CU. Rhule is a good coach, but I struggle to “like” him because…. Baylor.
  18. Seems Conor Stalions should be the MVP for the 2023 Michigan season.
  19. He's uninteresting. However, he has a 10yr $375mm contract. Good for him - and his agent.
  20. Visiting the northern midwest during the summer time has made me reflect, "This almost makes the winters worth it." Until you are there in winter.
  21. Fucking Kurt Bowels has Bama ahead of Texas. Huh?
  22. This is the way. However - payable AFTER the job for best results.
