  1. Make that 3.
  2. I really want UM to kick the crap out of them, but I have to tip my hat to Riley. He’s a really good offensive coach. And he’s composed, which goes a long way…
  3. Miller Moss now has 2 TD passes in the 3rdQ.
  4. That was the exact reason from my recollection, too. Decided to dodge that in my post
  5. To a certain extent "fat and lazy" can motivate innovation. Too lazy to dodge incoming flak? Create an invisible fighter. Too fat to fit in the cockpit? Create drones you can fly from the comfort of your easy chair. Brains over brawn is why man is at the top of the foodchain. Brains over brawn and bodies is why the USA is at the top of the foodchain. Edit: I left out a reference to "dumb." Yeah, they're not helping much here.
  6. At the time (1989) I seem to recall a bunch of teeth-gnashing when Swoopes arrived at Texas and then transferred soon thereafter - without playing a game. Fans were worried that Condradt was faltering, etc. After listening to Swoopes talk about basketball - and Clark - I am just thankful she's: Sheryl Swoopes, WNBA legend and for Texas TECH All-American. While it would have been nice to have another AA or national championship around that time, I a grateful that her bitter, moronic, and meandering commentary is not affiliated with Texas.
  7. Charlie got 2 more years after the Texas Bowl debacle. It still took a while..
  8. I owned it - I'm an idiot . But thanks!
  9. Money can buy happiness? ref: slim attractive blonde Bret is/was attached to.
  10. Ok. I am now convinced. Fuck Nebraska. Plus, @TOR reminded me of Bielema's innovative capabilities in creating a new unit of measure.
  11. This is a tough one. Cheer against Nebraska or cheer against Bret.
  12. oops. imafool
  13. Some teams like to claim "best 0-2 team in the league." I think I can safely assert, "Pittsburgh is the worst 2-0 team in the league." A decent defense and kicking game can keep you competitive, but I am awaiting one of those 30-10 beatdowns that seem to occur on an almost annual basis. Sometimes you need to score points. Arthur cannot.
  14. Fever started 1-8 and 2-9, finishing 20-20. They are 19-12 since their coach figured out that they have generational talent. With CTH, Derka and me as a supporting cast.
  15. Kliff Kingsbury is tanned and rested.
  16. Good points about timeline. My primary residence was purchased at a rate of around 6.875% for a 30 and I refi'd numerous times until I got it to 15-yr @ 2.875%
  17. Appreciate all of the input. There are rumblings that there will be another 50 bps drop a little later in the year and possibly another 50bps a quarter later. Is that what y'all are hearing? Just trying to time the market, which is often a fool's errand. Just glad my primary residence is at 2.875%
  18. Thank you. Is that for the 7/1 or 30? Or does it matter?
  19. What are you seeing for 7/1 and 30 for non-primary residence? Home is in Indiana.
  20. It's not really shit-talking to call any male member of the Sanders family a douchebag asshole, is it? It's one thing to be flexing and talking performance-based shit to CU when you are down 28-3. It's totally legit to call a Sanders a fucking selfish douchebag prick.
  21. UF will have to do a reset. There is no combination of coordinator shifts or lower-level coaching changes that will salvage this. They are hiring tier 2 coordinators fired for poor performance at the likes of Baylor. They're doomed until the reset occurs.
  22. That is pretty wild - and sad. 198-1984 had around 56% of #1 hits from bands. And that was during the era of Blondie, David Bowie, John Lennon's final album, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, etc. Oh and Rick Astley This is an interesting resource https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UK_singles_chart_number_ones_of_the_1980s
  23. All of this can be simultaneously true: - Perry's vocals sound like shit and have for the better part of 5 years. Seems like he has not been doing the proper warmup and warmdown for normal vocalists, much less the "screamer" types. Axl Rose has kept his voice in shape through disciplined pre-show warmups and and post-show warmdowns. And he will readily admit some days are better than others. - Perry's in-ear monitors are not adequate. Regardless, if his voice is failing, he'll still sound horrible. - Perry was hammered - Perry was high. - Stage monitors were too loud. This could be for many reasons. Navarro wants to hear himself better or they want to drown out Perry or both. - JA's band is sounding pretty damned good.
  24. Mea culpa. Looks like the update the per-voter tracking a bit later than the overall poll. That said, Kurt's deserves our resentment.
