  1. This winning out conjecture makes no sense. What happens every single time after an underdog win under Tom Herman?
  2. Holy. shit. Ronnie Perkins Why couldn't we secure his commitment dammit
  3. Fuck off announcers... Ground obviously helped him get control after falling and the body roll
  4. They were talking up Schooler's speed in post practice interviews... "He's actually pretty fast!" Lol
  5. He got rated a 5 star because of some picks during 7 on 7. His HS film leaves you searching for something to be impressed by, and he played QB senior year. He hasn't been coached well but there's nothing to justify a top ranking either. In college he's also been abused by lesser players than Wallace so this isn't unexpected to see today
  6. Ok let's be real, Weigman and Ewers are 1a 1b interchangeable in Texas... This isn't bias or anything, there's not a whole lot to separate the two. Give me either and I couldn't tell you which one I would rather have. Fire Tom Herman
  7. I came out of the lurking shadows and made an account specifically to be part of following what I thought was going to be an all-time great recruiting class in 2021... Instead we started tripping over ourselves nearly immediately into the cycle, and now we have a steaming pile where there should have been studs up and down the field, specifically OL. And then the season starts and we get all this shit? There was zero, zeeeeerrroooo percent chance Herman could recover after honestly the TCU debacle. Then it's hammered home to every recruit considering us after they watch us during the OU game. 2022 is forever written in stone as being an all-time low class as long as Herman is coach. Cut him now, today, yesterday... Keeping him does not do a goddamn thing, he's not necessary. We stand a better chance of beating Okie State without him on the sideline... so what are we waiting for?
  8. Start chatting up Weigman? Yeah he's just as good. Regardless, Ewers waited 2 weeks since the entire world realized Herman is done and the admin didn't have the balls to go all in on the future of the program. This isn't a "fire him at the end of the year, unless they somehow win out" situation.
  9. LSU DT Siaki Ika in the portal as well. Vacating for Sopsher?
  10. Get in your black Escalade and race him in his white Escalade down Westlake Dr. Loser legally changes their name to Gerg Davis
  11. He unfortunately made several mental mistakes in limited time vs Rice last year and I believe Herman and his silly ass just stopped thinking about giving him more run. How that doesn't also apply to guys like Brewer, Mitchell, Ingram, the entire '18 db group etc idfk
  12. Sweat is one of the biggest reasons I have determined McKnight to be a big part of the team's current woes... He is carrying about 50 pounds too much and it appears the coaches encouraged it and aren't doing anything to correct it. He's practically a non factor on drives longer than one set of downs and it's all S&C. He looks bad. Coburn is about 20 pounds too heavy as well. He can still move around so it isn't as obvious, but man imagine what he could do with less fat. The OL have big numbers on the scale but don't have the strength to back it up. This is not even getting into the offensive skill players. After a few years, S&C really smells
  13. Wilson had strong non-polynesian ties to the Buckeyes and was always going there but gave the home town university some lip service along the way. Not identifying early and prioritizing a one man wrecking crew for Rockwall in JSN is the egregious fault
  14. Couldn't disagree more on BJ but regardless it's on the coaches to put him in the ideal role for his physical ability
  15. Leinart and Quinn did the generic lack of development comment, Urban started off with evals and lack of NFL drafts. Yes there's talent not being developed, that's almost too obvious to make a segment on but he's also clearly coming from a place of skepticism that Texas is getting the right guys consistently. "Really fucking talented" applies in some instances, but come on, we have are fielding an FCS linebacker group and critical mass of projects at WR/TE... I've also somewhat made my thoughts known already on parts of the '18 class and '19 class currently with 8 (!) non-participants plus Mitchell... but no need to rehash or pile on. Point being, this roster can still be loads better and Urban isn't wearing burnt orange tinted glasses about it
  16. Urban was clearly bearish on the quality of Herman's evals so it's not a guarantee he would have all the pieces he wants and needs to win big year one... Unless some serious transfer portal action happens
  17. See the thing is she won't say no... Because of the implication
