  1. Would love to see the Hoosiers win, but I just don't see it against the ND defense in the snow.
  2. So Coach K needs to start coaching the offense??
  3. There's no guarantees he doesn't fall even further if he transfers.
  4. That's old news and it just opens up a spot for a skilled player. Tomkinson isn't going to start for any top 25 team.
  5. The only one that might make sense is the 4th one if Hill knocks Klubnick out of the game. But does a backup RB run through a different hole or something on the same play call as the starter??? Yes, Clemson can win this game. They can win if Texas gifts them multiple turnovers, Texas continues to put themselves in 3rd and long because of penalties, the ref's decide to screw Texas. Any combination of those could screw Texas, but it won't be because of those stupid shit reasons listed.
  6. Yes, I don't know why everyone wants to crap on Conner. The season grades are posted on the OL thread, I'm not going to re-post them here, but Conner did quit well. He scored much higher than our 2 Heisman Trophy winners. He might have struggled some against the GA DT's, but overall he has been very good. The right side of the line has been the most glaring issue all season.
  7. Which still begs the question, Why?? Why can teams that Texas dominated score more than 20 pts against GA and Texas can't? Why can Umass run the ball? It has to be more than that. Either Smart is this seasons Jim Harbough, and their players even said they always knew what was coming, or there's flaws in Sark's scheme. I certainly don't see an effort issue. I did see a lot of execution problems. And maybe that has something to do with scheme.
  8. Yes, but I don't know why so many people think he's the difference maker. Malcom Brown had more power and was faster, and he's not the 2nd coming of Benson. I'd rather have a Bijan who was better at breaking tackles and had crazy open field elusiveness. I know you don't get a Bijan every year but we can hope for something close. Gibson may turn out to be the best option next year as he appears to be an all around type back and Baxter can be the short yardage, 4th qtr guy. Or maybe Quintrevion continues to improve and no one can beat him out.
  9. I can't believe Texas lost to that racist team. Not a single minority on their team. I'm glad it was the last match for free ball Wenaas though.
  10. He's the same height and weight as Kern. Just put him in a Kern uniform and jersey and shave his mustache and who the fuck will know the difference. Just need to blow the flags every time he punts so it looks like wind.
  11. It's meaningful when a team that sucks has over twice as many OR's and basically ties you in the 2nd half. If Texas doesn't start rebounding better the SEC is gonna be ugly.
  12. How Quinn plays will be highly dependent on how UK schemes their pass defense. But UK can't win this game. Only Texas can beat themselves with more penalties, turnovers and busted coverages than the Vandy game.
  13. No doubt shitty game to watch. The only reason Texas is ahead is MVS can't play 30 sec without fouling. MO scored how may against MVS?? Fire Terry now, I'm going back to watching some football.
  14. I warned this was gonna be bigger that the Battle of the Bulge and things won't go they way you think. Fortunately pigs couldn't hold on to the ball and Blue's fumble went OOB. And Sark finally figured out you gotta throw on 1st down to open up the run.
  15. Yes, that is the narrative, but it just isn't true. Go back and look at who was on the field at the end at the end of the 3rd qtr and early 4th qtr. 0, 7, 11, 16, 25, 26, 33, 45, 90, 91, 99 were on the field on FL's 1st drive in the 4th qtr and they were all starters or rotational starters that come in about the 3rd series of the game. Mitchell was the only real sub. Even on Fl's 2nd drive of the 4th qtr only a few subs came in like Smith, Filsame and Finckley. Most of Jackson's yardage was against the Texas starters or 1st, 2nd qtr rotational starters. Maybe the safeties were backed up in a prevent defense, but yardage gained against a bunch of subs just doesn't hold water.
  16. I'm surprised more fans aren't concerned about the Texas run defense going against a top 10 rushing team. That's been the weakest link all season and Texas gave up 6.1 ypc to a FL RB on 19 carries. That's not too good, and FL didn't have a run threat at QB to worry about. This game is also in Fayetteman and pig has had 2 weeks to prepare. I wonder what trick plays had sex with VB player will come up with. Texas just better come in with their heads on straight and piss in their veins.
  17. Cobott and Preston Clark still being left out of the party. Who does Texas need to schedule for them to score, Hutto High School?
  18. The only one in hot water will be Mark Harlan. You wanted to be in the most corrupt league in football and you wonder why you got screwed.
  19. They're terrible, we should win convincingly. I'll also say this, if Lagaway truly has a Grade 2 strain, it would be totally irresponsible for Napier to play him. But I believe what's coming out of Gainesville about as much as I believe the Iraqi information minister.
  20. When I saw this thread FWIW and Ohio immediately came to mind. They were really before my time, but I learned about them and Dylan too. This one hasn't been posted though.
  21. I'll be so glad when Jenna is gone. If the set isn't perfect she 2 hands it right to the other teams front row giving the opponent exactly what they want. She can't even push it to a back corner. And why does she need a perfect set to attack? Every time Jenna pushes it over Emma gets to eat leather. Emma owes Jenna a good slap in the face. Mizz has a OH that attacks from anywhere on the court no matter how good or bad the set. A .200 hitter on the NC team isn't going to cut it. Why not give Lauwenstein a chance?
  22. That’s right JD, this is definitely not your parents Vanderbilt. This team is meaner, tougher, grittier, more athletic and smarter than anything ever before. This team is built to win! Just look at how they blew out Ball State by 10 points on their home field. And just look at how they handled 0-4 Sun Belt powerhouse Georgia State. That too woulda been a total blowout, but they just ran out of time.
  23. I's say 10-3 was pretty fucking good considering everything Texas lost. And Colt's passing far exceeded expectations.
  24. It's more a reflection of how many close games you've been in. If 1 play constantly makes that high of am impact, you're in a lot of close games. Texas has had only 1 close game so it makes since Texas would be near the axis.
