  1. What players would be better? Catalon is out and no one else has shown anything. Gilbeaux had to be taken out because he got burned multiple times. Muhammed and Williams have potential, but even Huff and Brown sucked as Freshmen. Allen has never shown anything. Brooks keeps getting burned. ??
  2. He's a good special teams player, but what has he done to prove he deserves more carries at RB? He's a scat back, not the best type of option for Sark's offense. I'd rather see Blue get carries over Robinson.
  3. Whittington is one of the best blocking WR's Texas has ever had.
  4. So is a trash school where people go to become a Sanitation Engineer?
  5. He will be here. Texas lives inside his brain. He just can't stand it. It's called obsession.
  6. ESPN power rankings. Houston Cooger - 60 BYU Cooger - 62 Offensive and Defensive rankings are similar too. And probably a similar game. Hopefully being in Austin will help. We still don't know what our backup QB's can do in a real game for 4 Qtrs.
  7. It's absolutely comical people want to compare this team to 05, 08, 09 when the pass defense isn't even top 75. Other than Barron, and maybe a healthy Catalon, would any DB on this team start for any of those teams? Damn what would we give for a safety that could fly across the field and make an interception on Whienert so great it has to be reviewed multiple times to confirm, or a safety that could lock down one side of the field like Earl Thomas.
  8. I won't remind you of how much cooger high is giving up to some dog-shit passing offenses.
  9. I saw Sweat triple teamed a few times. If no one else can get to the QB on on one look for more of the same. I don't know what happened to Hill's pass rush.
  10. I suspect we'll see even more holding in the remaining games because the opposition coaches know it isn't going to be called.
  11. That rule only applies if Texas is playing.
  12. It will be interesting to hear the official word, but I'll be shocked if its a broken collarbone. I had one and I had to be put on a stretcher and taken to the ambulance. I couldn't even stand up. Thinking someone could go back in a game and play is mindboggling.
  13. That guy wasn't close enough to make a play on the ball. It's a easy TD is Quinn just see's it. You can tell Quinn never looked.
  14. No one has mentioned not seeing Mitchell wide open uncovered in the back of the end zone and throwing out of bounds not close to being catchable to Worthy. I'm just not convinced Maalik will be better unless he decides to start putting some touch on the ball.
  15. True, but the same could have been said about Houston. After all, they lost to fucking Rice and should've lost to UTSA. BYU just seems to have our number, and if their QB walks on the field with a knee brace I'm putting every penny I have on BYU.
  16. He was trying to win a FB game, and a 1st down there was critical. I admire him for his guts. Sometimes things just don't go the way you want.
  17. That's a good snek, the kind that will crawl up in bed with you on a cold night. No worries.
  18. Cooger High can whine whine whine all they want about that spot. I counted at least 12 holds on the cooger OL that weren't called. And the take down on Finkley was a complete injustice. OTOH, expecting Bert Auburn to run for 5 yards is more disgusting than any bad call in that game.
  19. I'm not so sure about that. All that open space for crossing routes and finding open zones is suddenly gone. There's a reason why scoring from the 10 is the hardest place to score from. Teams that score from the 10 or, 9 in this case us, have a good ground game and the coogers had 14 rushing yards all game.
  20. Not only that, but it boggles the mind too.
  21. Looks like they fell asleep after that.
  22. That shit pisses me off. So watching Gabriel for 2 seasons they figure out he's slipperier than thought. WTF, I saw that after 2 games last year. And the kill shots BS is ridiculous. Why wasn't that corrected immediately, if not at half time?? "Hey fuckheads, the next player that tries to make a kill shot instead of wrapping up is gonna get sent to the shower." Are they going to let Smith run for 300 yrds?? The injuries sure suck. Means Sanders may not be playing. And, everyone wants to wear down the other defense with depth, but then the starting C and backup are out. Why is it when Texas players get hurt it's always 2 at the same fucking position?🤕 Edit, didn't see 2147's post, maybe Sanders plays, but 2 db's out against a passing team isn't good.
  23. I think people who simply expect another Logan to be paired with Maddie just don't get it. Wenaas is hitting .208, Molly .199 and Devin .149. There simply isn't a better option unless Byrd's shirt is burned, and only people going to practice know if that's a better option. In hindsite, Molly shoulda never been moved to OH. Asjia probably would've been a better OH, but it's too late now. And honestly, not having that 2nd OH, along with the things Zoe did on defense, and passing to set up the offense, is why Texas won't repeat.
  24. His food is about as sickening as his business ethics. I went to Babins not even realizing it was a Landry's. I stayed to give it a try. Sickening. I have absolute confidence Long John Silver and Captain D would be better.
  25. That's the problem I have. For you or me the no name nobody it wouldn't work. I appreciate Mattress Mack and others stepping up to help a special American Athlete. But, 1. there are I'm sure millions who have worked their ass off their whole life and have always struggled to pay bills and still can't afford health insurance and end up in a medical crisis. No one is going to step up for them and if they even tried a gofundme. If they're poor, most everyone they know is too. What's Mattress Mack doing for all of them?? 2. Why does MLR have no insurance? She must have made some bad decisions. If she lives in Piney Point, which is what I read, she's living in a house worth at least $3mil, if not $10mil or more. Sell your house, move to Katy and live in a $500k house and have health insurance. She also has to take some responsibility for the situation she's in. And that applies to Shannon Kelley too, certainly when it comes to taking care of the kids.
