  1. Playing against 3 top 5 defenses has something to do with it too. But his decision making still sucks. He would be better than Murphy though, just in the fact he can run.
  2. Please please, but only if he's not risking re-injury. I'd rather not have him for TCU than not have him for ISU and tech. The game on the frozen tundra in Ames may be the toughest of the remaining regular season games. That true freshman QB Becco might have sucked at first, but he's starting to play pretty good.
  3. I watch, but the FPI is a much better indicator. Perhaps you aren't capable of understanding how the FPI is is calculated. The fact is Cooger High is far worse on defense than TCU, and they're not even in the same ballpark in FPI, yet people think Texas can't lose to TCU. Fucking Donovan Smith had a career day vs Texas and he's far worse than Morris. Texas has history of being in the games of most unlilkely to lose based on stats, but still lost. Morris is #23 in QBR, yes that's a below average P5 QB, just pathetic. The 111 ranked below him must be the worst in the history of college football. So that most certainly mean Quinn Ewers is a below average QB as well as Will Howard because he's only slightly below Quinn and above Howard.
  4. UH is around 70th in FPI, barely above BYU, and yes Texas coulda blown that one. TCU is 29th, that's hardly fucking terrible. Anything like the UH game and Texas could lose, like Lubutt last year. And, Morris could be back. I know, Hoover is better because he beat up a crappy BYU team. We all know what that's worth. Morris is the better passer and definitely the better runner. Texas absolutely has to eliminate the turnovers and boneheaded penalties because TCU knows they can hold and tackle our WR's with authority.
  5. Hey Sark, are you stupid to realize going for it on 4th and 1 with a wide open field is a hell of a lot different than going for it on 4th and 2 from the 10 yard line.
  6. I know we all hate to see Blowu win, but honestly it would have been better if they had won yesterday. If Texas loses another it's almost now way. If Blowu had won yesterday we likely have the SOS over okie lite and head to head over the kansas teams and it's a rematch in Dallas for the second time.
  7. Texas isn't matching up with anyone with another loss. People forget Blowu has the head to head advantage along with a favorable schedule. okie lite also has a favorable schedule and likely won't have 2 losses. Texas absolutely has to win all 3 remaining games or the chances of playing in the B12CG are about 2%. TCU would give last years championship appearance to beat Texas and both ISU and tech would give all their wins over the last 3 years to beat Texas. I'm not optimistic Texas can win them all with MM at QB. And Texas has to beat the refs too.
  8. That was literally the worst non-PI call I've ever seen. The osu dude literally tackled stoops intentionally to prevent the TD. Blowu finally getting a dose of what Texas has experienced for more than 10 years now. Just breaks my heart.😂
  9. Low pressure = less dense = rain I better remember that since I had Boyles law, Charles Law and the Universal Gas law pounded into my brain for 4 years. Otherwise, I better give my diploma back.
  10. If Sark is somehow figuring out the RZ offense it's a legitimate excuse.
  11. It may not have been perfect, but Derek Anderson's crew is about the best we're going to get in the B12.They're far better than Mar or Alvarez. I'll take Anderson over anything else in a NY second.
  12. Except those other games weren't their Superbowl.
  13. We'll probably find out, but hopefully he's not stubborn enough to try to punch it in on 4th down from the 3 against KSU. They are a top 25 run defense.
  14. I don't know exactly how the analytics are calculated but it's probably an average of all games/teams. In a live game situation does the team with the best OL in football do the same thing as the team with the worst OL? And the same can be said about going against the best/worst DL. To not take into consideration the other variables of the situation would be shear stupidity.
  15. Kansas almost let ou pull a Texas. Leaving ou with 55 sec was an oh shit moment and that last ou play had too high of a success rate probability with Gabriel at QB. Did Leipold not see what Gabriel did to Texas? ou had 2 TO's with 55 sec left so Kansas coulda taken a knee on 2 plays and left about 5 sec after 3rd down and kicked a chip shot FG. I like making a chip shot FG and leaving 5 sec a lot better than a TD and leaving Gabriel 55 sec. Fortunately it worked out.
  16. "inferior opponent" I was yelling take the FG against ou because I knew Texas wasn't going to push the ou DL around.
  17. Cal was stupid to go for 2. Other than the turnovers they had been winning both sides of the ball. Why not give your players who had played their hearts out a chance to win it in OT?
  18. What's more important, scoring 44 pts or practicing goal line offense against an inferior opponent? I'm pretty damn sure Sark will take the 3 against KSU unless Texas has to have 7 to tie/win. Although I'm not sure if there's anything other than roids that will help the OL get more push.
  19. Quinn says Jesus Christ doesn't care who wins football games. https://twitter.com/Sports_Spectrum/status/1706662101954306213
  20. Would love to see B12 refs get what they they deserve.
  21. Texas started turning it around in the 2nd set. It woulda never been 5 if not for one of the most BS carry calls I've ever seen. I've seen hundreds of carries worse than that not called. Otherwise, Texas takes the 2nd set and wins in 4.
  22. I'm sorry, but that was not a catchable ball. It grazed the top of the fingers just like when MB's in volleyball have balls graze their fingers and the ball doesn't get blocked.
  23. We also kept hearing it was nothing but garbage time against a bunch of walk-ons from the naysayers.
  24. Depends on the gap between Quinn and Maalik, and right now all we can do is speculate and hope for the best.
  25. I forgot how to calculate the probability of something like this and I'm not going back through 2 books to figure it out. But based on things I remember I can most assuredly say it's less than 1%. I also wouldn't be a bit surprised if the same analysis shows the same thing for the last 15 years. What scum B12 admin and refs are. We can't get out of this shithole conference fast enough.
