  1. We also kept hearing it was nothing but garbage time against a bunch of walk-ons from the naysayers.
  2. Depends on the gap between Quinn and Maalik, and right now all we can do is speculate and hope for the best.
  3. I forgot how to calculate the probability of something like this and I'm not going back through 2 books to figure it out. But based on things I remember I can most assuredly say it's less than 1%. I also wouldn't be a bit surprised if the same analysis shows the same thing for the last 15 years. What scum B12 admin and refs are. We can't get out of this shithole conference fast enough.
  4. At 238 lbs it may only take 15 mph. Momentum = M x V I never even had to step a foot inside Cockrell to remember that one.
  5. Texas still doesn't have an "impose our will" OL and you know BYU and KSU will be loading the box. Running isn't going to work unless Maalik can make them feel some pain passing.
  6. That's a whole lot easier said than done when the only safety on the team that can break 5 seconds in the 40 is a true freshman.
  7. I'm sure they'll be practicing a lot of quick dump off's this week. Hopefully Maalik can burn them on a couple. It's not like he's a true freshman.
  8. I think the lizards on the road is a more likely loss than the Mormons at home. And it's more of a bragging rights forever game and its a helluva long history. I know it was the same for Baylor, but Baylor flat out sucks.
  9. It was nearly full because: 1. It's a 40k seat stadium. 2. Nearly half the bodies were Texas fans. 3. Houston fans want to beat Texas more than they want to fuck a $20 whore. Good luck getting that stadium half full next year.
  10. You haven't been keeping up. This team is SCAREY good. They are terrible, we should win convincingly.
  11. What players would be better? Catalon is out and no one else has shown anything. Gilbeaux had to be taken out because he got burned multiple times. Muhammed and Williams have potential, but even Huff and Brown sucked as Freshmen. Allen has never shown anything. Brooks keeps getting burned. ??
  12. He's a good special teams player, but what has he done to prove he deserves more carries at RB? He's a scat back, not the best type of option for Sark's offense. I'd rather see Blue get carries over Robinson.
  13. Whittington is one of the best blocking WR's Texas has ever had.
  14. So is a trash school where people go to become a Sanitation Engineer?
  15. He will be here. Texas lives inside his brain. He just can't stand it. It's called obsession.
  16. ESPN power rankings. Houston Cooger - 60 BYU Cooger - 62 Offensive and Defensive rankings are similar too. And probably a similar game. Hopefully being in Austin will help. We still don't know what our backup QB's can do in a real game for 4 Qtrs.
  17. It's absolutely comical people want to compare this team to 05, 08, 09 when the pass defense isn't even top 75. Other than Barron, and maybe a healthy Catalon, would any DB on this team start for any of those teams? Damn what would we give for a safety that could fly across the field and make an interception on Whienert so great it has to be reviewed multiple times to confirm, or a safety that could lock down one side of the field like Earl Thomas.
  18. I won't remind you of how much cooger high is giving up to some dog-shit passing offenses.
  19. I saw Sweat triple teamed a few times. If no one else can get to the QB on on one look for more of the same. I don't know what happened to Hill's pass rush.
  20. I suspect we'll see even more holding in the remaining games because the opposition coaches know it isn't going to be called.
  21. That rule only applies if Texas is playing.
  22. It will be interesting to hear the official word, but I'll be shocked if its a broken collarbone. I had one and I had to be put on a stretcher and taken to the ambulance. I couldn't even stand up. Thinking someone could go back in a game and play is mindboggling.
  23. That guy wasn't close enough to make a play on the ball. It's a easy TD is Quinn just see's it. You can tell Quinn never looked.
  24. No one has mentioned not seeing Mitchell wide open uncovered in the back of the end zone and throwing out of bounds not close to being catchable to Worthy. I'm just not convinced Maalik will be better unless he decides to start putting some touch on the ball.
  25. True, but the same could have been said about Houston. After all, they lost to fucking Rice and should've lost to UTSA. BYU just seems to have our number, and if their QB walks on the field with a knee brace I'm putting every penny I have on BYU.
