  1. I understand why the AP has to box score watch but the committee has 2 days to watch more than just stats. They also have 2 plus days to get inundated with propaganda which we have been very good at since Friday night. Miami on the other has been silent. There are levels to this shit.
  2. 7 years under Saban and 10 under smart. Coached with lanning as well. That's about as solid as it gets. My only worry is that he's a ginger.
  3. The more wealthy people i meet the more i realize 99% of them got rich despite their intelligence level (on things outside of their trade) In the modern era USC is doomed without major changes. He beats the teams he's supposed to and can recruit very well. With a competent DC he'd do no worse than Sark has done to this point.
  4. Don't be surprised if the steelers open too
  5. Nobody on staff hopefully. My personal list would have been In no order Lane Lincoln Riley with PK Freeman if he'd leave the North Maybes Glen Schumann from Georgia Mullen with NIL would be fun Traylor as the absolute final decent option
  6. Failing as a HC and Coaching patrick mahomes is the easiest path to a NFL head coaching job.
  7. Just something to keep an eye on Sark jumped to 13% and 3rd in odds to be the Titans next coach last Tuesday and has stayed around there.
  8. Here's what I remember. Up 44 on Tech and throwing the ball in the 4th
  9. Let's start boycottin NIL donors for other programs. BYU- Crumbl LSU- canes Texas a&m- Bucees and any local insurance agent
  10. Wednesday announcement likely means it's rankings related.
  11. The committee was obligated to do that last year but there are plenty of years around that teams have fallen out of the final rankings without playing games. They likely wont punish Alabama but a 3 score loss should move them out if its not competitive,
  12. ND would never since they are firmly in but the game should be against Miami to force the committees hand against ND. BYU and Coastal Carolina did this in 2020 at the last minute.
  13. With the SEC going to 9 games they should should institute two rules to be eligible for a 5th home SEC game in any given year. If not have fun going to Athens or Austin every other year. No FCS after September One road P4 game every 2-3 years.
  14. Missed Illinois, Michigan State, Duke, Florida State, and Cincy.
  15. Not in favor of canceling but my list of P4 teams we should schedule. These are the only Power schools we have never defeated, would like to see that in my lifetime just to say we did it. North Carolina State Syracuse Virginia Tech Minnesota Northwestern In the SEC all we lack is South Carolina but we will get them soon.
  16. So the top 4 get a double bye?
  17. Guess which of one our esteemed writers has us as the 13th best team in the AP poll 2 spots behind Virginia?
  18. I worded incorrectly. I'd have the committee giving viewing their resume better.
  19. This likely means PSU is now about to go official with theirs. Chesney was 2nd in odds to get the PSU job the last 24 hours or so
  20. Precedent will likely be set this year in one way or another as Bama can be the first 3 loss at large. Our best hope here is when debating setting the precedent of a 3 loss at large they compare the fullness of the Bama/Texas Resumes. I would still have money on their resume over ours but the FSU loss evens it out some.
  21. Taking out Miami and aggy to start the year and that drops to 40-62. But without ND the networks only have tOSU to draw eyeballs in that section of the US.
  22. The committee starts by nominating 6 and the top 4 are ranked and the two remaining are locked into the next round with 4 new teams nominated. This happens 4 times to get the top 16 teams. Any optimism for Texas getting near the 10 spot comes in round 3 this week as we were obviously at the back end of round 4 last week. Round 1 tOSU, Indiana, Georgia, Texas Tech, Oregon, Ole Miss/a&m Ranked 1. tOSU 2. Indiana 3. Georgia 4. Tech Round 2 Oregon, Ole Miss, a&m, OU, Notre Dame, Alabama Ranked 5. Oregon 6. Ole Miss/a&m 7. Ole Miss/a&m 8. Oklahoma Round 3- Notre Dame, Alabama, BYU with Miami/Utah/Vandy/Texas fighting over the final 3 nominations. 9. Notre Dame 10. Alabama 11. BYU 12. Miami/Utah/Vandy/Texas Round 4. Miami, Utah, Vandy, Texas, USC, Michigan 13-15 Three of Miami/Utah/Vandy/Texas 16. USC The remainder of the top 25 will be ranked in groups of 3 in rounds 5-7. Source
  23. Yeah let's create a system that pits Minnesota against Kentucky in a first round game. That'll do wonders for TV ratings. The ACC is down and still rating well with their big brands. The big 12 is rating well this year due to Techs resurgence. Notre Dame is never joining a conference so let's miss on those views as well. Solid plan.
  24. BYUs coach is the betting favorite for PSU cheer for that and Tech to happen this week and it won't be an issue.
