According to Connelly we had like a 98% post game win expectancy against Tech so not a lot to take a away from that road showing. Also Quinn will have his first road rest. If Gundy Jr starts at QB this will be an OU redux and will need to win convincingly to prove it wouldn't have mattered.
He had that injury near the end of the Bama game so must have been that. His biggest asset is he's the only one who can snap the ball so it's definitely a downgrade in that department
Went back and listened to that Billy segment. He flat out says the Texas staff is cheating by recruiting Stewart and assumes that Jeff Banks is one of the. Also says they are doing it to Baylor and TCU players. Also says that even though its illegal a&m should be doing it too which may be the funniest part of the whole segment.
Link starts right before his accusations.
If he's best available by a wide margin I think he'd come with some grace from Sark. But if he doesn't him leaving a&m is a win for offseason content alone. Losing him may push a couple others out as well.
Its insane to think that Sark was able to open up the whole playbook to a 19 year old in his second start and how easy it looked for him. Card in his 3rd year doesn't even get the full playbook and he's no scrub.
Always funny to look back on that game and how they had to drive to win 10-7.
Every season under Jimbo they've been 1 drive away from losing to a laughing stock program. Let's hope they extend the streak with UMASS.
2018- 4 and 8 Arkansas
2019- 2 and 10 Arkansas
2020- 0 and 9 Vanderbilt
2021- 4 and 8 Colorado
I remember that but looks like the other QBs had the same production as they have this season. Without the wind they may have thrown for 50% completion instead of 35%?
With how he looked in the spring game and reports that he doesn't know the playbook and would rather party its tough to see a scenario where he plays well. If he was as good as advertised then he would have at least been in the QB competition with King/Johnson. Here's the spring game where he throws about 2 good balls the whole time.
Has 247 changed their composite math yet? First to include ON3 but secondly Bobby mentioned on an offseason pod that they had it tilted to 247s rankings (something like 60/20/20 or 50/25/25). He also said ON3s composite takes all 4 into account at 25% each.
Things I heard from aggies i talked to today:
• Best they've felt about the program since jimbo has been there including after the Bama win last year
• Weigman would have won that game
• Missing Bryce Young didn't matter and Milroe is currently a really good QB
• If not for the PI they would have 100% completed that pass
• The offensive line is going in the right direction
