  1. After reading that flow chart, Wilco or san Antonio will be an austinite's best bet to get the vaccine. The state will continue to give those other hubs the vaccines and Austin will be left with a disproportionate amount compared to the population
  2. There’s nothing called “City Drug” in Llano. Try corner drug on Bessemer
  3. There are a bunch of volunteers directing traffic and what not at Kelly Reeves. As I understand it, their "payment" is the vaccine.
  4. Is that 100% that want it or 100% of Texans in that category?
  5. check your PMs right now.
  6. @Armybrat check your PMs. You have a live link to sign up for a shot tomorrow - You need to move fast though.
  7. Don’t tell me, but I bet you won the Powerball and Megamillions. Feels like it. Seriously though, if you're having trouble getting an appointment, PM me your cell and how far you're willing to travel and I'll let you know when I see something open up. It'll be up to you to do the booking though once you get my text.
  8. Both parents and in-laws will be fully vaccinated on Friday. I signed them up through San Antonio website. Sucks they have to drive down for it, but they said round one was as efficient as a chick fil a drive through. Somewhere related, I was able to get a PS5 before Christmas. To get both a PS5 and a vaccine for my folks, I had to be persistent with checking every outlet, very often.
  9. Added small AMC position for the lulz
  10. Even if they did, would they tell you no vaccine for you? No. Which is why we're all 1B until October unfortunately.
  11. Yeah, I could see that. It seemed like a lot of folks (meaning me) were using them as preventative actions. No one in our family had symptoms, but still used it. From what I remember when I took my son to do the brain probe, you really needed to have had symptoms for a couple of days for the results to be accurate.
  12. When we got tested prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas, we used Curative. There are about a dozen locations around Austin, and over 10,000 locations around the US. It's a PCR mouth swab and we got results within a couple of days. There was no cost to us (or at least we have not received an invoice, but they're pretty upfront about the "no cost" aspect). COVID-19 Testing & Health Services | Curative
  13. As it was unfolding last night, I didn't give much thought that this would be the actual outcome. Just awful.
  14. We'd tell you, but you're all too stupid to understand
  15. We are hopefully on the downside of the second spike. If it follows the Spanish flu timeline, there'll be a third spike
  16. Austin's vaccine sign up webpage is actually part of the "Art in Public Places" program. The interactive piece is titled "bygone frustrations"
  17. Those who were able to make an appointment for vaccines the other day, everyone's appointment time was 2pm.. This obviously resulted in everyone showing up at 2, leaving hundreds of old people to stand around outside for several hours. Good job, good work Austin.
  18. You can get the vaccine in your car at the Alamo dome
  19. McClung is a flopping ass bitch
  20. Guess I should have kept checking. Ill try in the mornings this week. Not sure if it matters but I just checked my confirmation text and I got them signed up around 12:45pm. My guess is it'll be a weekly thing, so if it's full tomorrow, I'd bet Mondays are the days that they open the week's sign up
  21. Whole bunch of slots opened up this morning at the Alamo dome through SAs website. Was able to sign my mom and in-laws up for a jab. It was either an error and I'll get an "oops sorry" email or it'll be great.
  22. If five minutes on the front porch is accurate, you're being overly cautious. But it's not a bad thing. And as for your cartographer, contacts of contacts typically won't need to quarantine.
