  1. @Knoxtnhorn I saw they just lost, didn't get to watch the game. I'm assuming SLC was missing that receiver committed to Minnesota pretty bad tonight? I caught the first few minutes and saw some dropped passes.
  2. I will never, ever root for us to lose. Especially not to OU. But I will say, if we happen to lose to OU, I will not be as sad this year as I would be in other years. There could POTENTIALLY be positives to come out of it.
  3. Roach on the Bowman situation/if he expects Sanders to follow: He also added this in the thread: BTW, I was told the lines of communication between Texas and Bowman are still open and Bowman is still in the recruit group chat for now.
  4. definitely* Jesus right after Biggins gets called out? Seriously? Get your shit together Fudd.
  5. He manipulated our emotions and told us about Ewers before it was official, we felt we had to repay the guy.
  6. And you get to watch the best Junior in the nation play
  7. And hey, if we're wishcasting realistic coaching, give me Herm Edwards in a landslide. Give me the ASU WRs coach that put N’Keal Harry and Brandon Aiyuk in the NFL please and thank you
  8. Ewers is finally a 5 star on the Rivals 250, but sitting at #6 in the class is holding him back from being composite #1
  9. The question of "Why would any great coach want to come here right now?" is extremely idiotic. We've got an extremely talented roster with some shit head coaching. We are the clear leader in regards to in-state recruiting. Aggy is forced to recruit New fucking Jersey even while Tom lays a 7-5 egg. They're going 6-4 at best this year, so their 2022 recruiting won't be much better than 2021 and will be easy to recruit against as a new head coach with success you can point back at and show off. We still have the most money in the country, backed by BMDs who will pay the fuck out of you if you win. It'd be hard to turn down an offer when there's that many zeros on the page. The way the behind-the-scenes people have been setting us up for nothing but success on the NIL front has been second to none. Already establishing programs to get these kids to make and continue to make money off their name, image and likeness is getting ten steps ahead 99% of other programs. The work on that front makes recruiting that much easier when we can tell a 5-star "Come here and make six figures while in college like it's nothing, and on top of that, we'll teach you how to manage and invest it." The issues with the program are currently 100% Tom Herman's fault. Not anyone behind the scenes, not poor talent/recruiting, not a shitty AD, it starts and ends with Tom Herman. Someone like Meyer could come in here and be successful instantly.
  10. NSIAP ... the way he spins the ball after catching the snap is pure swagger
  11. I didn't even mention him because I completely forgot he existed on this planet. But in all seriousness, still not a minor surprise; there were already a lot of rumors of him opting out and trying to transfer elsewhere over the summer. But 9.95ers do like to spread bullshit for clicks so it wouldn't surprise me.
  12. RB rumors make no sense. To me, that would be bigger than what they called "a minor surprise." Ingram is a starter, Johnson seems to love the program and his team and gets plenty of touches as well, and Robinson (as well as the other three) would be bigger news than a "minor surprise" IMO. I guess I could MAYBE understand Ingram considering it, but still, they would have used a term more serious than a "minor surprise"
  13. kenyatta watson has entered the transfer portal
  14. Red River Shitshow? COUNT ME IN. ITS 11:27 AND OU SUCKS
  15. Ah I see, you were trying to put a reason to my belief that Tom Herman should be fired. My bad. But yes, that’s part of it. My point is that whether it’s because we play OU next week or not, he was always going to play down to TCU. Just like he has us playing down to every other shitty team we play.
  16. Meh. Believe that if you want, but I sure don’t. What was the excuse for TTU then? Or Kansas last year? Those two were wins, but still sloppy. How about losing to TCU last year? Were we looking ahead to K State? The loss to ISU? Looking forward to getting dominated by Baylor? These were all just last year alone... I try my best to stay positive with this. But where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Tom has shown year after year that this is the case. He showed it at UH before we hired him too. This year isn’t an exception, it’s the normal.
  17. Don’t do this to yourself. Herman has shown his true self since his UH days. He can get his team up for a big game but consistently plays down to his competition. It’s been happening for years. He has never manhandled a B12 opponent the way he should, and we’ve had a big enough sample size to know that by now. The best coaches in CFB don’t constantly struggle with middle-of-the-pack (and even bottom-of-the-pack) conference teams year in and year out. We know his true colors.
  18. this is the first year i’ve seen refs actually call these DPIs on OU
  19. LSU looking much better against Vandy than aggy did (for those that doubted LSU would at least be decent after the MSU game)
  20. Either way, to me this sends the message that all of the suspended players could come back before Saturday. Which again, I would not be surprised about.
  21. the fightin' alabama jaylen waddles look impressive
