  1. LVBS announced his OVs: Nebraska this weekend vs. Ohio State Texas on Oct. 19 vs. Kansas USC on Nov. 24, although they play UCLA on the 23rd (?)
  2. Genuine question here, since I don't see his name coming up often... What position does Chris Brown usually play? I think Jones, Brown, and Foster should be on the field nearly every snap if they're healthy. Brown has been fantastic this year & seems to always be around the football. He always lets his instincts take over and is typically a "right place, right time" kind of guy.
  3. Sam has also hit the deep seam route down the middle of the field this year, probably more than last year already. Both the TD to Smith last weekend against rice and the TD to smith against OSU were deep down the middle. Great to see him getting the timing down with Jake.
  4. From the Moody College of Communication... TEXAS!
  5. Is landing Fouonji and Dixon/LVBS still possible at this point? I really at least 2 out of those 3
  6. Boyce almost finally got a play to put on his highlight reel. Still at 0.
  7. Kansas = quite possibly not hopeless
  8. I agree that Earle is not fair, his speed is pretty ridiculous for a high school Junior. But honestly this whole Aledo team is not fair. Earle, McClellan, and Parks (2020 Utah WR commit) are all stupid talented. No, he set his schedule for attending specific games each weekend before the season even started, so his timing being at each game doesn't mean much at all.
  9. does anyone know who the #1 QB in the 2020 class is? I haven't heard the announcers say it yet...
  10. anyone know who the number 1 quarterback in 2020 is?
  11. Spoke to my friend who is an equipment manager for us this year. He told me today that he personally rolled 200 towels and put them in the visitor's locker room and had to pick them up after the game. Both times he went into the visitor's locker room, the A/C was on and the room was cool. I trust this guy with my life, so that alone convinced me about the Ogre's lies.
  12. Avatar checks out
  13. From what I have seen, Brown has been pretty damn good this year. He is one of the few that seems to play naturally and let his instincts take over. He always seems to be around the ball.
  14. Not sure why one bad game against the best defense on our schedule makes everyone ready to write off Ingram as the starter. Give the kid the Rice game to dominate and bring his confidence back up and he will be fine. That said, I do really like Ro Jo at RB right now and agree that he deserves to get a substantial amount of touches. Let them both see the field a lot and to me, that is a damn good 1-2 punch.
  15. Scorching hot take!
  16. I agree that he is a take 1. He's got talent (hands, size, and speed) 2. To keep him away from okie lite and not give them another Blackmon/Wallace/Bryant/Washington
  17. Or tell the recruits that they're okay with faking cramps. Like come on, no one on LSU's offense cramped up? Or either side of the ball on Texas? It gets a little fishy when one guy goes down and he's back in one play later. Or when two go down, but one guy sees that someone else is already "cramping up" so he gets right up and he's just fine.
  18. I do agree that Burrow had a clean pocket the majority of the game which makes it much easier to do pretty much everything as a quarter back, but I also think our OL had a good game. We allowed pressure at times, but the OL did their job from what I saw. I was at the game though so maybe I missed some things.
  19. Struggled a bit in the first half but looked fantastic in the second. He needs to get better at reading defenses mid-play, I can recall at least 4 plays where he had Duvernay wide open in the middle of the field and just simply didn't see him. Overall, Sam is better than Burrow. Tonight, Burrow was lights out and looked better hitting some very impressive throws. Granted, we were leaving some LSU WRs with nothing but green grass around them at times too.
  20. The Carrington shh was for 2021 ATH Ja'Tavion Sanders I believe. He committed today according to Mike Roach
  21. Denial is not just a river in Africa
  22. O line absolutely has to dominate at the LOS, and I think most guys we hand the ball off to should be able to get the job done.
  23. Gotta go with the pom squad. Fantastic week 1 performance.
  24. Student section was overflowing with talent tonight. Love to see it. Being a student during these next few years will be fantastic. HOOK EM!
