  1. The good news for Bear is that he has this guy in his corner (Tony Jones - his handler, supposedly).
  2. Sam Cosmi Caden Stearns Kelvin Banks Cam Williams Anthony Hill Devin Duvernay PJ Locke ...
  3. So, Daylan McCutcheon visited Aggieland, for their big win over - ahem! - Bowling Green. I'll just put these here, since we're recruiting him, too. ************************************************************************* Just the quotes you want, from a WR that you're recruiting. (This one really cracked me up ... lulz. ) Wait! Changing? Leaving their great past behind? Moving forward in ... "a great way" ... whatever does he mean? :-))
  4. - Jamarion Carlton (5-star Edge, Temple) has been to Texas 3 times already (Junior Day, Elite Camp, Pool Party) - only visits currently scheduled are to Texas; Mississippi State game and the Georgia game - his primary recruiter is Kwiatkowski (who is in charge of the Edge room) - several nice quotes Temple 2026 five-star EDGE Jamarion Carlton has two Texas visits set, staying consistent with the Longhorns Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)
  5. Lulz ... just watch Barron. Not being able to hear them makes it even more funny.
  6. Maybe he will conclude that the grass is greener somewhere else?
  7. (Daylan McCutcheon visiting for the Miss. State game, Kelshaun Johnson visiting for the Georgia game.) Texas set to host ACC commit for SEC opener Hank South (247 Sports)
  8. Texas hosting DL Malcolm Simpson (On3/247/composite 4 star), currently committed to Nebraska, on a visit today. Nahlin lists him @ 270. Texas hosting 4-star D-lineman committed to Big Ten school Eric Nahlin Hitchcock defensive lineman, Malcolm Simpson, is on campus in Austin today after his team defeated Bellville on Thursday night. Simpson hasn’t been a household name for Texas fans but that has nothing to do with his ability. The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder is viewed as an elite athlete for his position. The former Galveston Ball product has been committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers since June 16th. He did notify the ‘Huskers staff of his intent to visit Texas today. Those following Texas recruiting understand how great the need is for defensive tackles in the 2025 class. Defensive tackles coach, Kenny Baker, has two very good commitments so far but he needs at least two more in the class. Texas will suffer significant losses at the position after this season, most notably Alfred Collins and Vernon Broughton. How could Simpson potentially fit? Well, first, he needs an offer from Texas. The staff has been doing its homework on Simpson of late and is liking what it’s learning. At this point, I’d expect an offer to come his way. Back to the original question. Simpson is a well-built, muscled up athlete but his long-term projection is a bit of a question. I liken him to Jaray Bledsoe coming out of school. He’s an elite athlete who could potentially play Jack (outside linebacker, defensive end) early in his career before growing into a hyper-athletic interior defensive lineman. If you’ve been reading Inside Texas of late, you know Texas has put itself in very good position to close with a massive flourish to the Class of 2025. Will Simpson ultimately be a part of it? Time will tell. On3 is the only network that has Simpson ranked in the Top 300 but I assure that has nothing to do with his upside as a player. On3 ranks him the No. 180 player and No. 17 defensive lineman in the country.
  9. (Transferred to Weiss Spring of his sophomore year.) (Hope his desire to play WR has ... waned ... in the green highlighted sentence below, think he meant to write "grow AND get better" 😂)
  10. Very interesting ... * He does show offers from TCU/LSU/Utah/Arizona, so I suppose Scruggs means Florida State was the only one to offer post Utah commitment.
  11. Lulz ... this is so good 😂 😂 😂. Don't miss the second guy on the right ... :-))
  12. This site has worked pretty well for me in the past, while traveling, etc. I get a few pop-ups that I have to close, but eventually the game comes on. https://the.streameast.app/cfb-live-streams
  13. Reading the quotes from Sark and the Elk, about their injured starting QBs and their QB situations ... the juxtaposition highlights the difference. Damn.
  14. Lol lol lol ... I am most intrigued by - "Horse laugh" and - Sit down bus driver 😂 😂 😂
  15. Ha ha ha ... Billy Liucci is @CurlyDumps ?? Here's ... Hungry hungry Elko!
  16. Lulz ... props for the humor 😂 😂 😂.
  17. Tom Loy (247 Sports / National) had a long article, with updates on almost 40 prospects across the country. I've posted the updates for the ones we are interested in (or morbidly curious about - hello, Husan Longstreet!) below, and the entire article is in the spoilered section. The uber-short version - he really likes us for Hilson, likes us for Terry, thinks we're a big threat for Mbatchou, and gives us a chance w/ Owusu-Boateng. Amen. ************************************************************************************************************** NA'EEM OFFORD, FIVE-STAR CB (OHIO STATE COMMIT) I still like Auburn to eventually flip Na'eem Offord from Ohio State. There is simply far too much buzz on the Tigers keeping him home, which surely wasn't always the case. It won't be easy, but that's the pulse. Keep an eye on Oregon as well. MICHAEL TERRY III, FIVE-STAR ATHLETE Texas feels good about its chances coming out of another visit to Austin. However, don't rule out Nebraska. The Huskers believe that they are firmly in the mix to land Michael Terry III. Oregon is another program at the top. He'll likely be in Eugene this fall and return to Texas one more time. This one doesn't look too close to being over, but I still like the Longhorns as of today. HUSAN LONGSTREET, FIVE-STAR QB (TEXAS A&M COMMIT) Texas A&M feels good about keeping Husan Longstreet in the class. The staff has worked hard to show him love and continued to make him a top priority. That said, keep an eye on USC. Don't rule out the Trojans yet. They are still recruiting him and keeping that recruitment warm if there happens to be some movement at the quarterback position. DALLAS WILSON, FOUR-STAR WR (OREGON COMMIT) Candidly, at this point, Florida's best chances at flipping Dallas Wilson from Oregon might be following a coaching change in Gainesville. That's just truly the feeling of multiple sources. He loves Oregon, and he's fired up about his commitment to the Ducks, but you can't rule out the Gators. It won't get any easier as Signing Day approaches. JAVION HILSON, FOUR-STAR EDGE In checking with sources, as it stands right now, it's hard to see anyone beating Texas for Javion Hilson. That said, keep an eye on UCF if you're looking for a dark horse. There is some buzz there to at least pay attention to. KEVIN WYNN, FOUR-STAR DL (FLORIDA STATE) Florida State has its hands full as it attempts to keep Kevin Wynn committed. This won't be easy. There is a lot of buzz around Georgia for him, but South Carolina was the one that got him on campus over the weekend. This one looks far from over. NATHANIEL OWUSU-BOATENG, FOUR-STAR LB Notre Dame is likely on top, as of today, for the coveted prospect. However, there are still multiple visits taking place before a final decision. Michigan gets Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng on campus this weekend for the USC game, and the Wolverines are likely the biggest threat to Notre Dame at this point. Texas will get him in town as well, and could pull off the upset. Florida, Ohio State and USC are also in the hunt. LAMONT ROGERS, FOUR-STAR OT (MISSOURI COMMIT) Lamont Rogers is committed to Missouri and very happy with that pledge. The staff feels great about keeping him in the class, too. That said, Texas A&M continues to have dialogue with him — and there are some in College Station who believe that he'll flip before all is said and done. JOSEPH MBATCHOU, THREE-STAR DL (FLORIDA COMMIT) Joseph Mbatchou has been committed to Florida since the summer, but keeping him in the class remains a challenge. He was at Texas over the weekend and the Longhorns are a big threat. Auburn, Alabama, Georgia and USC, among others, are battling to flip him. At this point, we'll surely take the field over Florida. *************************************************************** FULL ARTICLE Latest college football recruiting rumblings on top 2025 prospects, led by potential five-star flips Tom Loy (247 Sports / National)
  18. WILTFONG Michael Terry III : Still likes his RPM to Texas. Was on campus for UTSA, and is expected back for the Georgia game. (Also expected to attend Oregon/Ohio State.) Javion Hilson: Still likes his RPM to Texas. Also, was supposed to be at Florida last weekend, but didn't show up there.
  19. Here are the guy's officials - not the type of schools one sees on the list of someone who's been processed for football reasons.
