  1. Lulz, Tarp. The certitude & permanence ... love it when he kicks the doofuses in the nuts 😂 😂 😂.
  2. Lulz, Tarp. Starts off with some admirable understatement (".. the Titanic sprang a little leak ..."), and goes on from there. Highlighted a few choice cuts :-)).
  3. Texas OV June 14th - 16th (Jordan Scruggs / Horns 247)
  4. (Hattersley on Fasusi, Rogers and Haywood.) Where Texas A&M stands with top OL targets heading into June Andrew Hattersley (Aggie 247) ("Texas has been viewed as the team to beat for Fasusi for much of the spring and that still remains the case heading into June." .... "The Longhorns are still considered the favorite here but a big opportunity awaits A&M next month.")
  5. (As opposed to the usual insipid dreck, this note has tons of specifics and is well worth the read. This kid delivers.) The Stampede: Road Report from Houston The latest from a week on the road seeing a plethora of Texas targets in offseason action. Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)
  6. Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247), from a Q&A. (He's already more informative than Streets and many of the others ... )
  7. LSU 247; Dakorien Moore decommit thread. Lulz ... yes, yes he did.
  8. Thought you guys would get a chuckle out of 'ol DUCKTILIDIE702. From the Oregon 247 site. (I don't think either post - especially the first - was facetious, or that "affect" wasn't an insider joke." Ah yes ...
  9. James Simon CB for Texas, from Bryce Koon (LSU 247 staffer.) From an LSU 247 thread on Simon:
  10. SOME NOTES FROM GERRY, + RESPONSES TO COMMENTS ABOVE - Gerry: Nobody pushed Jackson Christian - football/academics fell in line, so he committed GERRY: OL RECRUITS / POSITIONAL FIT - Jackson Christian: IOL - Devin Coleman: Center / guard. Best fit long term is center. - John Mills / Jordan Coleman: Swing tackle/guard. If both end up in the class, one could play right tackle, the other, guard. Both would be tremendous guard prospects. - Fasusi and Rogers: True tackle takes - Nick Brooks: Right tackle - Tyler Thomas: IOL / guard GERRY: HYPOTHETICAL TEXAS OL CLASS 1 guard 2 swing guard/right tackle types 2 pure tackles Center (Devin Coleman) Tyler Thomas in the picture as well - Golden Triangle - important recruiting area Ohio State now has commitments from: - Devin Sanchez (#1 corner, #5 overall) - Na'eem Offord (#2 corner, #6 overall) - Blake Woodby (#7 corner, #66 overall) Likely had an influence on Brew's decision to hold off on committing to Ohio State (at least for now). A day or so ago, Jerry had said Texas was ready to accept their commitments right now, and that we led for them. (By right now, he made it sound like we were certain we wanted them, and not that their spots were at risk ... ). His breakdown above also explains how he sees them fitting in, with Christian and others. (On a very different note ... few things in life piss me off as much as instances when I write a note, look at adding some quotes, etc., and the editor barfs and deletes the note. Nothing other than a ritual sacrifice w/ disembowelment would pacify me ... whom would you offer up? BO&W, I'm guessing? Win/win? Let me know. Kthxbye.)
  11. SUNDAY EVENING MAY 12TH OTF STREAM - Texas staff hitting Houston - Gideon/Joseph - Caleb Chester, Kade Phillips; Chris Jackson - Kelshaun Johnson, Andrew Marsh - Gideon - Jonah Williams (although likely OU/Aggie battle) - QBs - Milwee in Saraland; - Texas had three coaches at Duncanville, watching Keelon Russell (Jackson, Banks, Milwee) - Milwee - Dia Bell May 20th, then Troy Huhn May 22nd - Bell and Huhn Texas Elite camp June 1st; that may be when the Texas '26 QB is decided - (Btw, Gerry has repeated this several times, including how Lacey committed at this camp last year.) - As of Thursday, this was the only visit these two QBs had set up, so could be waiting on Texas - Bell - also likes Penn State and LSU, and perhaps Alabama - Huhn - picked up offers from Clemson, Arky, FSU perhaps - Texas really wants Kaden Finley (Jermichael Finley's son) - Texas legit shot with Myron Charles ('25 DT out of Florida) - Texas would take Kevin and Jordan Coleman right now, and Texas leads for them - Kevin Wynn visiting June 14-16th; Texas has a legit shot. FSU/SC 1/2, Texas/GA 3A/3B (but never visited Texas); Kirby doesn't want Texas to get traction in GA, especially OL/DL; tougher with Kirby than with Mark Richt - Best 4 D-tackles (viewer question) - Gerry: Texas is absolutely on the right guys. Will have to hit on 50% of the guys they're bringing in for visits. Says ordering them is tough, but 6 are in a different category - Brandon Brown, Derry Norris, Myron Charles, Kevin Wynn (calls him Kevin Greene … prophetic?), Zion Williams, Josiah Sharma. Says if we get three, then will #4 be a "developmental" guy like DJ Sanders … or Chace Sims, or someone else.
  12. Ah, but you underestimate them, Frank. "We were beaten up by our NFL-lite SEC schedule! 'Sips were given a bunch of cupcakes, by the conniving Snakey!!" Advantage: Aggy!!
  13. Btw, Hattersley posted this note less than an hour ago, on Aggie 247. Good timing on that CB by Wiltfong ... and given this is a defensive recruit and w/ Fong's Elko connection, this should bode well for us (at least relative to the Aggies) on this recruitment.
  14. For a non-Texas-$9.95er perspective on Fasusi, here's Sonny Shipp (LSU 247) yesterday:
