  1. Hey, when you beat Michigan in the Big House, your ads are HILARIOUS ... :-))
  2. Nation's No. 1 ranked ATH prospect Michael Terry III mulling over UTSA game visit Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247) "Don't get me wrong, Nebraska surging at this time is definitely making me a little nervous and I've remained wary of Oregon since the early summer, but I've continued to like Texas' chances here and continue to lean towards the Longhorns being the eventual winner."
  3. Streets, on Michael Terry III NEBRASKA HUSKERS "Some near the recruitment feel that the Huskers have moved into a top position, even with Texas in the recruitment." OREGON DUCKS "Sources we spoke with indicated that Oregon is slipping a bit in the recruitment, but the Ducks are slated to get Terry back to Eugene for a game visit this fall." TEXAS LONGHORNS "Most sources feel that Texas will eventually be the pick for Terry, but it's not a done deal for the Longhorns ..." "Terry is planning to get back to Austin for a game this fall, ..." "Texas is the behind-the-scenes favorite at the moment, but this recruitment still has a few months to go before someone closes the deal." 4. He doesn't? Really? A guy on this board ... FexiTornia? ... never tires of waxing rhapsodic about Fawcett's edits, and would suggest otherwise!
  5. andy88c is wise. And hopefully, prescient as well. (FSU 247 / Javion Hilson decommitment thread.)
  6. Over 2 years after Arch committed - over a year and a half after he enrolled - to have his Hall of Fame uncle say this is a pretty good endorsement of the program and Sark.
  7. FSU 247 had an article on players FSU will need to work (on) the hardest, to keep in their '25 class. Here are the portions relevant to Texas: 4-star DL Myron Charles When checking in with sources this week, Myron Charles is the recruitment that many are watching following FSU's disappointing start. He spurned Texas in June when he picked Florida State over the Longhorns -- who presented a more lucrative NIL package at the time. Texas never went away and they're expecting a special season -- giving them plenty of reason to think they can flip Charles from the 'Noles. I haven't heard of any imminent flip happening but if I had to rank FSU's commits in order of most likely to flip, he'd be at the top of the list right now. 4-star Edge Javion Hilson Like in Thomas' case, Javion Hilson is a high-ranking prospect at a premium position -- so you know other teams will be active in working to flip him. The four-star edge rusher out of Cocoa (Fla.) had programs like Texas and Alabama heavily involved in his process over the summer. Could those teams come back and work to change his mind again? That's certainly possible. I haven't heard of anything significant going down with Hilson as of late but he'll be one worth monitoring as the cycle progresses. (One where we aren't mentioned ... ) 4-star DL Kevin Wynn Anytime you beat Georgia for a player they want in their own state, you better bet that they're not going away until pen meets paper in December. That's definitely the case for four-star defensive tackle Kevin Wynn -- who FSU beat Georgia, South Carolina and others for over the summer. Wynn is saying all of the right things about his pledge to the 'Noles right now but if this season continues to trend in a negative direction for FSU, Wynn's commitment status could be up in the air. UGA will make it tough for the 'Noles to hold on in the end -- if they're still actively pursuing him.
  8. Conversation between two waitresses tomorrow morning, at a Waffle House somewhere in north Dallas along the DART rain line. "What is up this morning? That was the 5th middle-aged, overweight guy that asked me for my best Waffle House story!" "You too???!"
  9. Update on a five-star recruiting battle (Michael Terry III) Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247) "No matter the currently scheduled visits or the absence of a definitive decision timeline, we continue to like the Longhorns' chances of winning out for Terry's services when the dust settles." β€” JORDAN SCRUGGS
  10. From Aggie 247, in a thread asking about WR Jerome Myles. "Not sure?" Why not? Whatever do you mean? πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚.
  11. Yep, the screenshot above was actually from the Q/A following that article :-). I'll just post that article, plus two other Tarp articles on the ND game, below. On the unlikely chance that we would have ... a passing interest ... in the bitter introspection and self-loathing that follows an Aggie early-season loss 😈. Gluttons for Aggie angst ... here's your smorgasboard.
