slow
Is 4.74 sec 40 yd dash slow for a pocket passer? I'm pretty sure it isn't. He isn't a dual threat QB, no need to turn him Into something he isn't.

This game was weird to me. I hosted a watch party so missed some things but the offense played well and the defense did too. Then the late 3rd and 4th quarter happened. The offense was fairly good, the 4th down stuff kinda messed them up but other than that I think they actually held their own. Then all of a sudden Clemson started scoring points. It wasn’t your typical, oh here goes Texas blowing a lead. Or maybe it was and didn’t notice because I was forced to be a damn host.
If we beat Oregon/tOSU I think we will win the whole thing. A big if, Oregon/tOSU both are complementary and if we can’t run the ball, then sayonara. I am worried after the Clemson game if the defense can hold up. The competition only gets better after asu. Or maybe klubnik had his Penix game against us and the defense is actually that good where it didn’t matter. This game was weird to me. Arch is a redshirt freshman who has played decent. I hope you will root for him as well
I will, I look forward to it. Can't wait to see the same people turn on him when he doesn't perform to their standard. And we can start all this shit over again.

His qb stats are slightly above average.
Career, week, year, doesn't matter, not true, not compared to the entire country. He is easily top 1/3rd and top ten in some statistics. I guess it depends on your definition of "slightly above average". I guess Arch must be an average QB if he is getting splinters behind some JAG.

However his stats show he’s slightly above mid.
Mid what?

Oh look everyone, thank Christ! The White Knight Quinn Ewers had been dreaming about has finally arrived.
Good to know, with the big mean internet there is at least on person out there, on the front lines, helping defenseless Texas QBs. Keeping them safe from mean and negative comments on the internet.
This has never been seen before. I'm amazed and impressed. Thank God for Longhornlove!
Keep proving that it is people like you that are the problem.

You've been consistently saying this thread is shit. Consistently shitting on any post that isn't sunshine pumping. Fans of Texas have questioned the coaching, QB and players since before the fucking internet.
You have the option to ignore the thread, ignore posters in the thread you don't agree with because of lack of sunshine pumping, ignore the board completely or you know go to fucking Texags where you'll be right at home.
Jesus fucking Christ.
Sunshine pumping isn't what I want and either you haven't been paying attention or are some type of fool to not recognize comments in here as just "questioning". Guess what, you can ignore my posts if you want. I won't let this thread be a echo chamber for shitty fans unfairly criticizing Quinn Ewers. He deserves better. You are free to leave just as I am but I'm not going anywhere. If you don't like it, GFY or whatever else you want.

How? This isn't the first time this has been said. Threads and the shitposters within them like this one create the exact scenario you want "clarified".

Why do you keep trying to create this narrative?
Love the pot calling the kettle black scenario.

You might not be cut out for Surly if you can’t handle some criticism about Quinn. You’re the one who kept saying the OL was “tripping” Quinn when he was falling over his own feet earlier in the season. When you got called out on it with proof, you deflected and turned it into a tirade about how everyone hates Quinn. Nobody hates Quinn, they are just calling a spade a spade. I can admit when I’m wrong about my Quinn takes, but you can’t and you double down by throwing everyone else on the team under the bus. Have some respect for the game and own up to your bad takes once in a while. It would stop this thread from becoming a battle between sides when all we want is for it to be a discussion about Quinn’s play.
You are clearly disturbed that I don't share your same views about Quinn. He gets too much criticism and blame in this thread with few defenders until recently. Making shit up about me isn't helping your narrative. Anyone can go back and see what was posted. I encourage them to do that. I have pointed out and or agreed about Quinn bad plays and errors multiple times. That's a fact Jack. We may disagree on who was responsible for some of the errors but I won't sit here and throw everything at the feet of QE. The QB is the most important position of the team but it still takes a team.
Bobby and Gerry mentioned in a video today about how part of the fanbase was turning this situation into Simms 2.0. I AM NOT part of that and I won't keep my mouth shut so you and others tear him down with unwarranted criticism. He has represented himself and the University well since his arrival and has been a vital part of the turnaround of this program. He deserves to be treated better. Arch will have his time, that time isn't now.

It’s blasphemy to use Colt to make this kind of point. Let’s not reduce ourselves to shit like this in order to define Quinn’s legacy at QB. Have some fucking respect.
Why? It isn't like you have any.

Only because he missed Moore wide open over the middle.
The way it has been going with him 50/50 if he catches it. Maybe tip it to the other team?
My brother texted me and said he wanted to see Arch. After he fumbled the snap I replied, you have seen him now. We didn't see him again. Quinn is the best QB on this team. He will remain the starter unless he gets injured.

I hope it wears it every time now. Pretty sure he didn't expect weirdos to zoom in and see what was on it either. He has a right to express and he SHOULD if he so chooses.

It looked like Moore stumbled right before/as the ball got there that caused him to not catch it.
You cannot let a perfectly thrown ball in stride turn into an interception. The drops from Moore have to stop.

Eh. We had some busted coverages that we haven't had all year. And Klubnik made some excellent throws that there isn't a lot you can do about. I don't expect the former to happen again. And without those the latter throws wouldn't have been enough to threaten us.
I would like to know what happened to our pass rush in the second half. It just evaporated.
Agree, pass rush was non-existent in the second half an Kade was dropping dimes because of it.

You guys are hilarious. You guys literally must think Ewers is a fucking moron. Oh, he did his fucking job. Let's celebrate him like he did something special like 4th and 5. It's clear Sarkisian doesn't fully trust him at all, yet you guys are filling up jars because he underthrew a wide open receiver by 5 yards. 60 fucking yards in the 2H with mulitple horrible decisions and throws.
WTF is wrong with you?
