    Arch is the truth

Based on what empirical evidence? Because Quinn sucks? All the people in here that think Arch is a better option right now are fucking morons. There is zero evidence but tons of emotion. Some are the worst fucking fans, they should go hide because they should be embarrassed.

IMO - if Quinn and the Horns have a great 1st Qtr, we will be OK and win by 15+. Early game Quinn struggles and no running game, here comes Arch and “Buckle Up”!

If somehow Arch leads us to victory, he should be the starter going forward.

    Hook’em!!!

Texas should have no problem with Clemson. If Arch plays more than a bit part or mop-up something disastrous happened or Quinn got injured.

That’s not why AR was drafted which is the point. You brought up a guy who wasn’t drafted based on his play. He was drafted based on his measurables. Then when that was pointed out you shifted to a narrative of “well that’s dumb”. Newsflash, the NFL drafts based on measurables all the fucking time.

I'm sorry I can't make you understand. You are so close, I think. If you stop making it about AR maybe you will figure it out.

No shit. The point is it’s dumb to bring up AR as an example of a Qb that didn’t have the film because he wasn’t drafted based on his film. Bringing him up in relation to Quinn makes no fucking sense.

When you are talking about someone being drafted in a certain round based on their actual play at the position it makes perfect sense. That is the entire point.

Your argument doesn't discount what he is saying. He is saying you shouldn't draft a QB in the first round on athleticism. Jamarcus Russell shoulda told you.

That is part, the other part is if you were to determine a draft grade on QB play(as someone suggested) where would Anthony Richardson have gotten drafted? I know where it wouldn't have been.

Are you dense? Anthony Richardson got drafted because he’s a measurable monster. Quinn doesn’t have the measurables so his Qb play needs to be on the level. It hasn’t been. What are you not understanding about that? Just because you for some reason think the NFL shouldn’t care doesn’t mean they don’t.

You are the one that brought up AR and then acted flabbergasted when given the reason he was picked.

Holy fuck, you think I'm dense? Wow. Even after explaining it to you.........after you supposedly "understood".

Lulz. Ok guy. I know exactly how the conversation began when y’all started talking about Zach Wilson and his film. You were somehow flabbergasted that AR got drafted despite his elite measurables and athleticism. Then you made a who cares comment.

So again, do you even watch football?

Where did I mention Zach Wilson exactly? Oh, that's right, I didn't.

If  the NFL was running the wing T or option, absolutely, go draft you the best fucking athlete there is to run it. Problem is they don't. If you drafted quarterbacks on athletic ability Brock Purdy and Tom Brady would have been coaching football at a junior high somewhere.

If I took the names away and gave you the stats career wise from Quinn and AR, AR is a UDA and Quinn gets drafted. AR wasn't even a good college QB and he is deserving a first round pick because he can run fast and jump high?

This conversation  went this direction because someone said due to QB play Quinn would get drafted in the 5th round. I reminded them of Anthony Richardson. Please explain how Anthony Richardsons college QB play warrants a 1st round pick when Quinn's, which is superb comparatively is 5th round. I hate that I have to waste my time by spoon-feeding you but here we are.

If Quinn is going to the NFL then why is he giving vague answers like “we’ll see” to reporters? It creates a distraction when he can just clearly state he is declaring for the draft at the end of the season.

Please list all the people who have already declared for the NFL draft from all the teams in the playoff.

If it was strictly QB play then Quinn is at best a 5th rounder.

Well, you damn sure shouldn't be drafting your QB based on athleticism. If so, should be a late round pick. You are the biggest shitposter here. I'm sure you know that though. Congrats anyway. Quinn will get drafted higher than 5 based off of pro day workouts alone. He would have been 2nd  round at the latest last year had he declared.

Literally all NFL offenses need athleticism at the QB position in 2024, now elite athleticism is cherry on top. You obviously don't watch much NFL if you don't see QBs every game making big plays with their legs whether extending a play to find a read down field or picking up yardage to gain.

Wrong, only bad organizations draft Anthony Richardson in the first round as a QB based on athleticism and not actual QB play.

His oline is better this year, receiving unit is deeper(not as high end talented but just as good as a whole), and he has a better TE. The only position group on offense that isn't better or same is RB position due to injuries. But sure, change Sark's entire offensive identity because a guy in his 3rd year sucks at it.

It's only reported from Quinn's camp if it comes from Thamel. That is who he and his father use to put out news that comes directly from his camp.

So if someone talks to Quinns agent but it didn't come from Thamel, it doesn't count? Is that your rule?

Anthony Richardson is an elite elite athlete that started one year and was taken off of his athletic potential and strong arm. A 6'4 240+ lbs guy who can run low 4.4s is going to make scouts gush.

Kent Lee Platte on X: "Anthony Richardson was drafted with ...

How many offenses in the NFL need his elite athleticism at the QB position?  Did they draft him as a TE? H-back? No. Who gives a fuck?

The Texas insiders all say Quinn is going to the NFL. He walked on Senior Day. If that decision truly has been made, why is Quinn's team not leaking it to the media? It's a total distraction at this point. Sark is getting more pissed as they keep asking him about QE's future.

The only thing that makes sense to me is his agent is actually leaving the door open for another program to throw him a massive $$$ offer. This drama isn't helpful to the team at all, and it's just putting a bigger target and critical eye on Quinn.

The drama from this abortion of a thread isn't helpful either. People have talked to Quinn's agent and stated he was going to the NFL. That wasn't a leak, that was reported.

Click baiter shit media is gonna click bait.

Penn State did, but no longer.  Came in every game, scored 9 td’s.  Only responding to the “no one rotates” position. Only a playoff team adjacent to us in seeding.

You and everyone else keep bringing this up. There is no precedent with Sark as the head coach or play caller prior to A&M when Quinn was wearing a new state of the art ankle brace. If he is gonna do it, Arch has to be a throwing threat or else you are magnifying the problem by increasing the numbers in the box. From my PoV, it appears he doesn't fully trust Arch to run the same offense Quinn does. Maybe he is playing 3D chess or something, hopefully he proves me wrong a breaks tendencies in the playoffs. he hasn't done much of that this year if at all. That is part of the issue. He is hard headed it appears.

You can't even argue the play correctly, he wasn't trying to make a throw. He took off running and tried to go down and was stripped of the ball.

My bad, I confused that with the Kentucky strip sack but same same. Good play by A&M, should have protected the ball better but that was a forced fumble.
