  1. He is struggling mentally, like wide receivers getting alligator arms and "hearing footsteps". He needs to let it fly, it is purely in his head. I had the yips for a few days in baseball just kept overthrowing everything. After a little "encouragement" ie. sprint punishment, I got pissed off and just started gunning it with perfect accuracy, at that point I knew it was mental and it never happened to me again. He even admitted it could be in his head. Only he can fix it.
  2. He isn't playing games with confidence, the statement is probably meant to give him confidence. Quinn needs to play like it is his last chance because it might just be that.
  3. Im not worked up and I'm not the one asking for cited sources on injury information that came from the horses mouth. This site is full of conjecture and opinions and you ask for a source? Is this a paper? Is he a journalist? You have your source, it is Quinn himself. His words on the abdominal strain "it's there a little bit" and "my mind thinking about it". We can move along now. It is in his head more than anything. The boy needs confidence, ie. quoting @immamac "he's a pussy".
  4. JFC, don't be stupid. He doesn't need a source. Sark himself said no one is 100 % this time of year. See comments from the "Source". He even says it could be in his head. You don't hear the question but it is in the post.
  5. He wasn't downright bad against Washington, you are mistaken. Fumbles, shitty game plan and a bad pass defense was the reason for that loss, not QE. A matter of fact, we get boat raced without his play. He missed passes at the end of the game that could have been the difference though. He was Bad at Red River this year. QBS are like pitchers in MLB, sometimes things just don't go well. QE has been fantastic in enough big games for me to think he gets back there. No one scares me on the schedule coming up. Only Time will tell. You can sit here and bitch and moan all you want or accept the fact the QE is the starting QB and honestly I don't see that changing barring injury or a complete Chris Sims first half melt down.
  6. I do, why? Because he is the ONLY QB on roster that has done it before. Facts matter.
  7. I'm hoping for Quinn to return to pre-injury form, ball out and drag his nuts across Derkas' face.
  8. ? hard to do something you rarely try. The game plan and execution were both bad IMHO. There was nothing in there that they hadn't shown before. It looked to me that Sark said I can beat you with the same old thing I beat everyone else with, speed on the perimeter. You can't beat Georgia sideline to sideline when they can match your speed. The Georgia defense matched our speed and bullied us. You combine that with a QB who won't step up and throw the ball down field, you are fucked. You got a big bad offensive line, fucking use it by making them the attacker/bully. Our offense is pussified and the QB reflects it.
  9. Cool, do you post just for the sake of posting? Why state the obvious? Be better.
  10. I agree he played like a scared little bitch but at the same time, there wasn't much there either. I don't have the answer and I'm pretty sure the answer isn't any version of a player on this team unless Quinn steps up. That doesn't appear likely but he is still good enough to win every game left on the schedule. Quinn needs to shit or get off the pot.
  11. Under no circumstances was Quinn or anyone else on our roster "carving up" that Georgia defense we faced Saturday. The entire offense was dogshit at some point in the game. Sark was doing the same ole same ole that he did against everyone else this year. Problem is everyone else feared and respected our speed, Georgia didn't because they didn't have to, they just ran with it. We tried to beat Georgia on the edges with speed and failed miserably. The game plan and execution were both bad.
  12. Historically this is a incredibly bad take. He is known for a pro style offense with some RPO concepts. He has never been know for a zone read offense. There is a reason he doesn't typically recruit dual threat quarterbacks. You should be embarrased.
  13. Doesn't matter who you responded to. IDGAF, this is a public forum and I quoted YOU so GFY asshole.
  14. He most likely would have been the 7th QB taken in the first round last year had he come out. Stop being so narrow minded.
  15. It was painful to watch the film guy of the first half but it is a very good break down. The Georgia defense was near perfect, that can't be stressed enough. Quinn had very few open receivers and most of the concepts didn't help. So many times he didn't have intermediate routes. Georgia had blanket coverage almost the entire first half. Combine that with pressure and a non existent attempt at a running game leaves you with goose eggs and 38 yards of offense.
  16. Fine, I'm not sure Arch is the better QB next week or right now and I'm guessing you are just sharing your opinion and that you actually don't know for sure either. You know the thing about opinions. Sark is a QB "guru", he has an ego. Quinn will get his shot to redeem himself and I'm betting he does. If I'm wrong, don't care and the best man wins anyway. I'm not hoping for Quinn to fail and neither should anyone else.
  17. Quinn has to get it right, if we have to rely solely on Manning the rest of the season we are probably fucked as great as I think he will be. We have seen good Quinn, that is what we need here on out to reach the desired destination.
  18. Arch was decisive while running for his life, they were teeing off on him.
