  1. If a generational talent like VY doesn't fall in his lap, Mack Brown would be viewed at worse than Ryan Day or that idiot at Penn State. I can't imagine that 2005 team without VY. USC would boat race that team. They would have been playing walk ons in the second half.
  2. That PoS can rightly fuck off. He made himself and and his family generational wealth off the backs of young men who weren't compensated appropriately for having their Name Images and Likenesses being exploited for decades.
  3. At this point in the season the stats don't lie. We are what we are in the RZ. It is a Fact that we have struggled to run the football in the RZ. Most teams do struggle but not as bad as we have this year. Historically speaker in previous years we are above 3 yards per carry in the RZ. We were below 2 until last game and still barely above it. Here is the link https://cfbstats.com/2022/team/703/passing/offense/situational.html feel free to look at our past and other teams performances. Fun little fact. We are noticeably better in the RZ at passing this year than years past. I know that is hard to believe because QE bad and all but the stats are there. The numbers don't lie. Could he have been better, sure, so can the run game. Should be drastically better.
  4. That is factually incorrect and supported by statistics that I have posted on multiple occasions. Here is 2022 with RoJo and Bijan Here is Passing in 2024, notice in Blue, wow, look at the QB rating in the RZ, that is pretty high isn't it. I think it is the highest rating out of all isn't it? Tell me again where the problem in the RZ is?
  5. Slow developing plays in condensed sets in a condensed field are not a good, combination especially when Jonathan Brooks, RoJo and Bijan are no longer in the backfield. Our RZ offense is predictable. We need to break tendencies and we aren't, haven't.
  6. What some Texas fans want is irrelevant and counter productive to solving the actual problems with the RZ offense that we have been having the second half of the season.
  7. No one is expecting Arch to come in and sling it. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it, the lack of run game in. the RZ has caused people to want Arch to get more play time specifically in the RZ. Why? Because he is a run threat. What have they done with him? Run him. This isn't complicated. Once again, the lack of run game in the RZ isn't a QB problem when you run a pro style offense with a pocket passer QB. Just say it.
  8. If you walk into an airport bathroom and it smells like shit who's is it that stinks? A little bit of everyones most likely. Some maybe more than others but ain't no one shitting roses.
  9. It's almost like you haven't thrown PFF grades around this site as "evidence" to support whatever opinion you may have on a particular subject.
  10. Depends, I choose to spread the blame around and not lay it all at the feet of the starting QB. Although we have a talented receiver room, we have exactly one of those guys to meet or exceed expectations. The two most explosive playmakers on the offense have either been hurt or a non factor(turnover machine) for the toughest stretch of the schedule. But, but but the QB. Many might argue that Baxter would have been another potentially explosive playmaker but we haven't seen him either. If people would take a step back and actually analyze the root causes and contributing factors they will find and admit that this isn't just a QB problem. Funny how people want Arch to come in in RZ because he is a run threat. That alone should give them the clue they are looking for. The statistics for the run game in losses and RZ for the entire year tell you where the problem lies. It's up to the HC/OC to figure it out. Based on what I saw against Clemson, I think he did but some of you probably didn't even realize what changes were made.
  11. ULM, Miss ST and fucking UTSA, don't act like we are ignorant. It is embarrassing to compare stats against those defenses to anything else on the schedule.
  12. Anyone judging the performance of a QB against fucking Mississippi State alone needs to rethink that decision.
  13. AI Overview Learn more Mississippi State's defense ranks 126th in the NCAA College Football FBS for opponent touchdowns. Here are some other defensive stats for the Mississippi State Bulldogs: Opponent points per play: 0.505 Opponent completion percentage: 71.95% Opponent 3D conversion percentage: 48.28% Opponent RZ scoring percentage: 85.71%
  14. Mack would have been welcomed back if he accepted his fate instead of sabotaging efforts to remove him. Mack is looking out for Mack and looking for his next gravy train.
  15. I'll take it under advisement that I shouldn't be calling other posters cunts.
  16. He seems pretty darn comfortable here(video below). Different scenario for sure but drastic difference.
  17. My least favorite airport and terrible drivers, that says a lot considering I live in the Houston area. Traffic there is a bitch all day long. Other than those things, I have few issues but I only go there for work.
  18. I will get out of this thread today and end with this since I seem to get the natives riled up. I think we all agree, Quinn could have played better this year and should play better going forward as he is a healthy as he has been since week 3. Regardless, we should make a run at a national title and we should enjoy and celebrate that. Hook'em
  19. If that is the case why do NFL offenses have much higher motion rates? Your assumption is not correct. Motion and shifts is used as much to confuse the defense as much as it is to identify the defense. Your assumption would imply that Arch is more competent in the offense. That is counter to the fact that he is the backup.
