Where did I say that? Oh, that's right, I didn't, you just made that up. As a matter of fact, I posted stats suggesting the contrary. How many TDs did Texas score in his two years as a starter? He had 20, total. That is a minuscule percentage of the offense. The QB from Navy, this year running about as close to an offense as you can compare in modern times had a better season than Streets' two years as a starter combined.
For his time he was great. I can't compare him in modern football, the numbers don't work. The QB position has way more importance in football now and it isn't even close. IMO he belongs in a different category. You want to lump him in with a bunch of modern era QBs, have at it. I won't because it isn't fair to him. He deserves to be higher. He deserves to be at the top of his own category.
