  1. He threw 5 INTs all of last year. 2 were in garbage time losses... So I wouldn't exactly call it much of a recurrence.
  2. No it didn't. You are thinking about UCF. I said UF.
  3. Defense gave up 20 to UF, Burrow forced a throw late in the game and they returned it for a TD.
  4. Our defense gave up 25. They had a pick 6 off Burrow. Given that we started grabbing fans from the stands to suit up and play DB for us, that was basically expected.
  5. Watched a minute or so of Tom Herman's presser. Mentioned how huge our DLine is. Made me think back to the Alabama-Ohio St 2014 game where Herman gashed them running sideline to sideline because he thought they were big and slow, and he was right... Do UT fans who have watched this offense for a couple years now think that Herman is going to try and run a bunch sideline to sideline? Who would be the guy doing that, Ingram? Obviously that OSU team had Zeke, who turns out is pretty good at football. I feel like that would play into LSUs hand with Delpit flying in and our athletic LBs.
  6. Like 10 years ago, an Auburn fan posted a poem about how LSU fans smell like corndogs. It took off across SEC message boards. It makes 0 sense, but whatever I guess its funny to them. I do enjoy going to road games and seeing corndog traps setup, makes me chuckle. We successfully got a "we want corndogs" chant going in the visitors section of Jordan-Hare a handful of years back. We play along with it now.
  7. Missing our starting LT, I'm not super concerned just yet. Clyde Edwards-Helaire played well enough. Then we had little Fournette, who will primarily be used on 3rd downs as a pass catcher out the backfield going forward, but I'm sure they just wanted to get him some carries. Then 2 true freshmen playing their first game at RB. I think the thing you didn't see last week, that you will 100% see this week is Burrow in the rushing game. It will help the other RBs a ton, when Burrow starts getting attention on the keepers.
  8. Its a fair point. Look no further than 2017. The reason we lost to Troy was because Orgeron meddled with the offense and told Canada to stop with all the motions. The result was a terrible display of offense... I do think he has hitched his wagon onto Ensminger, one of his best friends and someone who he is super comfortable. He has 100% given the offense to Ensminger, and Ensminger has basically given Joe Brady the reigns.
  9. Happy to be a part of the discussion this week. Should be a great game. Looking forward to the trip. I would be happy to answer any questions about LSU. I'll start by saying this game should remind no LSU fan of the Miami game, just as it should remind no UT fan of the UGA game. Both of those matchups are entirely different than this one will be... I do think we are more talented, but any slight advantage is basically negated by going on the road. I expect this to be a very evenly matched game... And for your last point I'll just disagree. For starters, Ga Southern would destroy Rice. But that aside, its true that LSU’s offense has looked good against bad teams in the past, but it was completely different. Rather than dominate with downhill runs and play action passes, we dominated by spreading the ball around and throwing quick passes. You may look at that as a negative (given your last comment) but realize that we haven't seen an offense do that since 2007. It is precisely why we were ecstatic leaving the game.
