Thanks for that gif. I drop Cuff'em and Stuff'em periodically and really couldn't remember where it came from.

Speaking of headlights. I ran my battery down several times by leaving lights on. My favorite modification on my '69 C-10? A buzzer that jumps between two fuses in the fuse block, probably lights and ignition, that reminds me that the lights are still on when I turn off the truck. Cost me $10.

Bed Jet
I just purchased one called the Bed Fan. It works well, is made in Texas, and costs about half a much as Bed Jet. Doesn't have a heating function, but that's what blankets are for.

Show me your old Tacos (4Runner, FJ, Landcruiser, bronco etc)
Have you sourced the black valances yet? I'm probably going to switch from the ORP silver to matte black to match the rest of the blackout. Apparently the OEM are good black as opposed to matte. Last week, two weeks after I bought the 4Runner, I was rear-ended. Didn't do to much damage, but I'll need to replace the rear valance and repaint the bumper. There is a small dent at the bottom of the lift gate. I'll see how the body shop proposes to repair it.

Fishing Megathread: Looking For Big Girls Who swallow
Looks pretty straight forward - top water lure with a 40lb mono leader with a 1/8oz screw lock jig head. Old, worn-out top waters could find another use.

Texas BBQ
Just looked. Butter's is closed on Thursday and LaVaca looks like it is only open in Port Lavaca these days.

Butter's BBQ in Sinton or LaVaca BBQ in Port Lavaca or Victoria.

Legit kitchen appliances & accessories
I purchased one of these earlier this year - Typhur Dome. I love it. It takes a fair amount of counterspace, but the footprint allows for a large tray that can hold a pizza and other food in a single layer. The basket style air fryers seem counterproductive when you have to stack food. I use it all the time for salmon, fries, chicken, and vegetables. I've made beef jerky a few times and used the dehydrator for making dried Thai chiles. Clean up is easy because it has nonstick ceramic coating throughout. I already had a Typhur wireless thermometer and both devices connect to an app on the phone.

Texas BBQ
I really enjoyed their food the couple times I visited their food truck when it was parked at the brewery in Hutto. They're now moving around from brewery to brewery, so a little harder to hit. Smashburger looks awesome. BTW, 183 runs north and south.

A nice clean black looks great, but I ain't washing cars every day*. I have the ORP version of the white with blackout and like it. *be careful using drive through car washes on dark cars. I had a dark green Tahoe that showed swirls on the paint on the front of the roof from the previous driver using car washes on the regular.

Texas BBQ
Next time I'm in Harker Heights mid-day on an Wednesday or Thursday, I'll give it a try. Next time will be the first time, though. I've been wanting to try them for a couple years, but they have the worst days/hours in Texas barbecue. I did have a sample at the Troubadour Festival in the summer of 2022 according to my spreadsheet.

Adolescence
I listened to Stephen Graham on Smartless and he explained the process. IIRC, they spent a week taping each episode. Ten takes total, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You can't help but like the guy after his interview.

Shit My Kid Says

It's a great show, albeit disturbing subject matter. The story was well done and the acting top-notch across the board. The production was amazing being a single, continuous shot for each episode. It really blows my mind that they are able to pull that off with so many actors and different locations.- Austin FC
Was not fun to watch. Playing frantic from the drop, couldn't connect three consecutive passes, and super high defending that has bit us in the ass before. Stu coming out after BHI was knocked to the ground in two back-to-back plays was appreciated although it felt a little forced. It seemed like the idea was to rotate (Owen, Buka, Uzuni - especially) to keep them fresh for Wednesday's Open Cup match against the Loons. Once we were down 0-2, I would have I would have subbed at least one of the center backs for Cascante or Djordjevic. I was concerned BHI was going to get a red card.- Classic Car thread
Those books are pretty cool. At this point, I could put together a set of books of shit I have had to fix and still need to fix.- Show me your old Tacos (4Runner, FJ, Landcruiser, bronco etc)
I got both of them on Amazon. - Adolescence
