  1. I've used my original Fireboard since May 2019 with no issues.
  2. I'm interested in hearing the answer from those that use deep sea charters. I would tip the captain 20% and let him share it with his crew. I can't imagine tipping both 20%.
  3. Saw Vallejo this evening in a free community concert. They put on a good show. I think I saw them last in 1997.
  4. Clothes pin and playing card was better anyway.
  5. Better fill the bathtubs with water to flush with and get some bottle water to drink with that nasty stuff.
  6. In Austin you can pick up Gambino's French bread at Stuffed Cajun Meat Market.
  7. Did your bike have a working turn signal and rev box? I didn't think so. Mine did.
  8. You know how much trouble that guy would be in for responding to a newspaper ad? The fact that his old lady penned the original ad wouldn't matter one bit. This scenario would not end well for that nerdy Casanova.
  9. Just got my tickets for Austin. Artist code: HEARTLESS

    Austin FC

I believe he's an outside back. It will be nice in July when we get the new guys on the field. Deciding who to start and who to sub is a much better situation than deciding who on the thin roster will fill a gap.
  11. I refuse to choose between Princess Bride and PT&A.
  12. There was a slightly greater than zero chance that the song was about being in the hospital with neck and back problems.
  13. I think that is the extent of pride celebration in CS.

    Tacos

I did a taco run today after finishing the Taco Mafia series on PBS. Started Mexico City style street tacos from Cuantos Tacos - a cachte taco and a carnitas taco. Small tacos but amazing flavor. I probably would have eaten four tacos of it were my only stop. Next to Discada. They were closed. I learned later that the open at Noon. Finally a stop at Nixta Taqueria. Had to try the duck carnitas taco and wasn't disappointed. Flavor was amazing. On the way out, I grabbed some baked goods from the pandulceria that shares a kitchen with Nixta. Interesting corn based sugar cookie, some odd chocolate chip cookie, and some corn based on cake. As a gringo, I've traditionally preferred flour over corn tortillas. Nixtamal tortillas make a huge difference, though. I'd recommend both Cuantos and Nixta. Looking forward to trying Discada next time.
  15. Absolutely. They mentioned moving out of that space a few months ago. I just hope they get another spot. They have the best barbecue between Austin and San Antonio.
  16. That's too bad. It's a big space and they really didn't have enough notariety or signage to get people to stop just driving down I-35.
  17. I wonder if there'll be any sweet jumps.
  18. I used to make Bloody Marias with tequila, or screwdrivers with tequila, or coffee with bourbon, . . . pretty easy to find something to justify drinking before noon.
  19. I can't think of any hills like that in Anderson Mill. I did get some serious road rash wiping out on a steep hill on Spicewood Parkway circa nineteen hundred and eight-three.
  20. There was a period of time that they checked bag tickets at Mueller. That might have been a while ago, though.
  21. Thanks. I knew better than to look that up.
  22. My wife, father-in-law, and I get a medium rare filet. My mother-in-law gets an overcooked flat iron. I refuse to overcook a $40/lb steak.
  23. I've seen a couple of these videos. Can you actually see the snakes when viewing the bats at Bracken Cave? I'd go for that.
