Myrto Uzuni is Verde.
Austin FC has spent over $25m this offseason getting a new team together. Nice that they got $10m for Driussi.
I can't wait to see how Nico puts theses pieces together on the pitch. Listo!
Probably a pretty good assumption that he's not talking about a chain Hawaiian "barbecue" joint in the Texas BBQ thread. I didn't even know that was a thing. Nothing on their menu remotely looks like Texas barbecue. Thanks for the heads-up, though. I will write out LeRoy & Lewis going forward to avoid any confusion.
Either way, y'all need to start posting on bluesky because there is zero SurlyHorns content on bluesky.
Many of the people/orgs I follow on twitter are similar. @Hornius Emeritus does a pretty good job of cross posting @tracesoftexas, but none of my Texas barbecue follows post much on bluesky. My Austin FC folks are doing a decent job of posting and I can follow almost everything with the AustinFC feed.
I got an 11" de Buyer Mineral B carbon steel fry pan after Christmas. It hasn't warped, but I also don't let my wife near it.
Similarly, I have two knife blocks - Global for me and old Henckels for everyone else in the family.
Sorry for your loss.
If there isn't a rush, I'd wait a bit and let things settle out. The last SS deposit will removed from the account and there is a chance that you'll have to pay back the last pension payment. My mother had POD on her accounts, but BOA froze the accounts.
Depending on whether or not you mother had taxes withheld from her SS and pension payments, the estate might be entitled to a refund. My mom would get a refund check every year for about $3k and when I did her final taxes, she got a refund of $1900.
Once you have a complete handle on the assets and liabilities, I would recommend talking with a probate lawyer to at least figure out the easiest way to wrap it up.
I highly recommend getting on this Chevy truck board - its called 67-72 Chevy Trucks, but they have specific forums for 1947 forward. I have been on there for the past 20+ years and there always someone there to answer your question. I use the search function on there which enables google searches specific to the website. Here is a link to the 1947-1959 forum. The Hook'em username is already taken.
First game will consist of me telling my wife who all the players are, over and over. That and getting to hear about replacing the entire team and still having Cascante. Listo!
The Hawaiian state bird is the nēnē otherwise referred to as the Hawaiian goose. It's the rarest of gooses and I saw one in 1987 on the way down Haleakalā crater. I wonder what OP thinks about that.
Interestingly, the flat iron eats more like brisket and the chuck eats more like steak. I'd like to find a couple of the full flat irons or top blade roasts and attempt to smoke. However, the butcher usually cuts them in half to remove the inedible (unless slow cooked, apparently) facia that runs across the meat (seen in the cross section cuts from L&L).
To your point - I'm fine with Driussi leaving so long as Rodo has an acceptable replacement. If somehow Rodo convinced River to pay $10m for Driussi, I'm ecstatic.
Driussi really dropped once the club transferred Diego and again when the club cut ties with Rigoni. The former wasn't surprising since Diego was a key player in our offense and he wasn't immediately replaced. The later, on the other hand, was just Driussi pouting about losing his Argentinian buddy.
This new team is in large part Rodo's creation. A few of the players are from the old days, but the big time players are all new. It's probably best that Rodo and Nico work with a team that doesn't have much by the way of baggage from the past.
Estoy Listo!
I am going to approach the wife with going to an away game this year. I don't see going to Houston or Frisco and probably not any of the Canada games as my passport is expired.
Thinking about 5/31 San Diego, 6/7 Colorado, 6/28 Seattle, or 10/18 San Jose.
