  1. I downloaded all 102 gb of it and flew around Bora Bora a bit. I need to go through all the tutorials and learn the controls though. Seemed to run fine on the X for the little bit I did. Looks fantastic on a 4k TV.
  2. It's the Olympics. Nobody will care a month from now.
  3. Well, they win so they're not aggy. But they do whine a lot.
  4. They said in the show, maybe the first episode that all the time travel shenanigans if Endgame were deemed to be the "correct" timeline by the time keepers.
  5. Yes. The most universal trait of American culture is selfishness and narcissism.
  6. A few weeks ago I binged all 6 seasons of Longmire. It was an A&E show I think for three seasons and then a Netflix show for three more seasons. It's pretty good.
  7. Calling it the OLED edition. It is not the 4k capable switch pro people were hoping for. New 7-inch OLED screen that can run 720p in handheld mode. 1080p in docked TV mode. Wired Ethernet port built in. 64 gb built in storage, up from 32. But looks like everything else is basically the same. No new Nvidia hardware or anything. 350 bucks this October.
  8. So goalies can just punch people in the face, I guess...
  9. Or even just select the text briefly to read it.

    Longmire

I've been binging this. It's good. I do find it hilarious though how quickly they can just pop down to Denver or to Montana or even Arizona in one episode in like no time at all. But the characters are good, the actors seem to fit what I remember from the books pretty well. Obviously because it's being presented a couple decades later than the books were, they've cut out all his Vietnam war back story, but maybe something like it comes up in the second half of the series. I only just finished season 3.
  11. I see they've gone the ChevyHD route of "why design a front end when a giant gaping hole will do"
  12. I think he just lost the tournament there.
  13. Rahm's lady has them rude new-mom thangs.
  14. NBC even has animated paragliders in their graphics. Stupid.
  15. I would love to make it to a race some day.
  16. There's one in Plano I tried once. It was more expensive than I expected. It was ok but given the price I would rather just hit Whataburger.
  17. It's about as good as their motorsport coverage... Which is not a compliment
  18. There are also apps and websites that compile campgrounds, RV parks, rest areas, etc for RVs. A popular one is Campendium. People can post reviews and pictures, etc.
  19. I want to see someone hit a paraglider with a tee shot.
  20. And if you are looking through my description trying to count the states, we briefly got into North Carolina while inside the national park, so I'm counting it. The trailer never made it to North Carolina but the car and people did. We only drove through Oklahoma, Illinois, and Indiana, but we stopped and spent money on gas, etc, so I count it.
  21. My parents pulled their travel trailer with us on our entire trip. He had all his original tires and it's only two years old. He had a blowout on our long day where we had to cross the Mississippi. Fortunately it happened right before a rest stop and near a decent town in Arkansas. We got him changed and he was able to get a new tire. His spare was all deformed too, but my spare from my trailer was the same size so I lent him mine. He has since replaced all his tires once we got home. The factory tiles from Forest River were just garbage.
  22. A couple long days. Day 1 drove from DFW to a state park near Eureka Springs Arkansas. Day 2 all the way to an RV park in St. Louis. Day 3, Did the Gateway Arch before loading up, drove to Lake Cumberland State Park in Kentucky. Spent two nights here, drove a day trip to an old coal mine and did a tour into a mine. Day 5 drove to Gatlinburg TN, stayed 3 nights to have 2 full days in Smokey Mtn NP. Also arrived early enough to do some NP stuff that first evening. Day 8 went to a TN state park near Linden, TN Day 9, went all the way to Lake Catherine State Park near Hot Springs AR, this included a 3.5 hour Mississippi river crossing in Memphis with the messed up bridge. We would have diverted 60 miles to a different crossing but wanted to visit my brother in Memphis for lunch. We didn't get much time at this park and want to go back, it looked great. It's an easy trip from Dallas Day 10 all the way home.
  23. We haven't had a chance to get all the pics off various phones and sift through them on the computer. It's a really pretty park, though. It does get extremely busy. We parked at a campground resort place just outside Gatlinburg. Drove into the park which was only a couple minutes. The park itself has no entrance fee. Didn't see any bears but saw plenty of deer and turkey. We largely ignored Gatlinburg. It's essentially hillbilly Vegas and is packed all the time.
  24. Recently completed 2675 miles through 9 States in 10 days with the family in the ol' travel trailer. Did a loop up through Arkansas and across Missouri to St. Louis, over to Kentucky and down in Tennessee to Smokey Mountain NP. Then across Tenn and Arkansas back home.
  25. Indy may have to go the IMSA route and stream everything themselves.
