  1. Huge to block that extra point and keep it a 2 possession game.
  2. Has Keilan Robinson been in much? I’ve seen RoJo and Bijan but can’t recall seeing Keilan yet
  3. UH could stand to benefit from the move in a way that could allow them to leapfrog Texas Tech for a potential invite if the PAC tries to expand and add any Big 12 schools 5 years down the road.
  4. Pfizer second shot 4/13 Antibodies - 2285 Negative on prior Covid infection
  5. To be fair UTD is an excellent public school. I’d definitely say it’s in the second tier of public universities in the state behind aggy and UT. Outside of them I’d say your point still stands although UTSA has been making some major strides recently from what I’ve heard.
  6. If someone has to go on an ECMO are they pretty much fucked? Just found out a coworker’s husband who’s been in ICU for a few weeks is getting put on an ECMO
  7. I’m guessing the CARES study is probably measuring this but I’d guess that the majority of breakthrough infections are in patients with lower antibody counts, right? The higher the antibody count you have then you should be more protected from breakthrough infections (to an extent at least)
  8. He’s posted a lot of shit that’s blatantly false. I think he’s the one that claimed that Baylor, KU, and Iowa State were going to the Big 10 a few weeks back
  9. We should win something like 31-7 or 35-10. The offense won’t be extremely explosive initially this season but our defense should more than pick up the slack.
  10. That is honestly brilliant. I need one
  11. My father is not much of a football guru but he said the other day that he’s seen more orange flowers blooming than in previous years so it means Texas is gonna have a great season. That’ll be $9.95
  12. Wow, you know it’s bad when you can’t out-recruit Rutgers. I know he failed here, but he wouldn’t be their worst option and I could see him actually being fairly successful there (anywhere from 7-5 to 9-3).
  13. I think he’s trying to parlay his vote into an invite from the SEC or ACC. It’s a desperation move.
  14. I wouldn’t be surprised if the endgame ends up being SEC and B1G forming the 2 mega conferences of 20-24 with those 2 poaching Notre Dame and the best of the ACC and PAC. I suppose there’s a chance that the SEC could try to take enough Ir8 to kill the conference and avoid any exit fees but idk how realistic that is.
  15. When I had initially logged in I had the same message but the results were available maybe 30 mins to 1 hour later so I’d just check back in a bit.
  16. So I did the Texas CARES draw through CPL and I got my results back…..is the “COVID-19 Antibodies, Spike Protein (Quantitative)” number the same scale that everyone else here has been referring to as far as “my antibody count was xxx”? Also I’m a little confused as to what the ideal scale is for antibody counts. Is there a certain antibody count range we should be hoping for?
  17. I was referring to football competitiveness. I’m fully aware that an expanded Big 12 without Texas or OU would not be remotely close to the PAC as far as historical value, media markets, alumni base, etc. But as a collection of football programs the expanded Big 12 would have more programs with recent NY6 appearances or who have been in the playoff discussion than the PAC.
  18. If the Big 12 expands to add BYU, UCF, Boise State, and Cincy, that’s actually a solid football conference. Head and shoulders above the AAC and one could even argue on par with the PAC.
  19. In this hypothetical, if the league was gonna split off from the NCAA then I think you’d have to include Notre Dame as well. I don’t get the benefit to the alliance trying to possibly slow play playoff expansion. Unless they try to revise the playoff to only be conference champs so the SEC can’t get 2 teams in, they’d be isolating one of the members of the alliance most years as the SEC could still get 2 teams into a 4 team playoff a lot of years. It seems like a 12-team model would be more beneficial to the alliance so they could all be assured of a playoff spot. The only benefit to slow playing the 12-team model is preventing the SEC from getting 3 or more in the playoffs but that’s a textbook example of cutting off your nose to spite your face.
  20. So basically the “alliance” is absolutely meaningless. Much ado about nothing. SEC should take the best of those 3 conferences and split off from the NCAA
