  1. What they were saying on the BCS insider podcast is that if Lalo was going to kill Gus, he needed to get comprehensive proof to show Don Eladio and that even then he may be in hot water for killing the “golden goose” of their distribution network which is why Lalo was more than willing to let Gus talk shit about Eladio right before he cut the lights and shot Lalo
  2. Unbelievable. I have no idea where they’re gonna go from here but that was amazing.
  3. It was average. Better than the Eternals or the most recent Dr. Strange. Not as good as Ragnarok.
  4. I’ve been to Kyle Field for several games in the past and it’s completely overrated as a “loud” stadium. It’s not nearly as loud as it’s hyped up to be.
  5. Theoretically if the SEC poaches 4 ACC schools and the B1G reacts by poaching the best that are left and the ultimate leftovers scramble and join the Big East or Big 12. At the very least if the SEC and B1G take 8 of the ACC schools, those schools could just vote to dissolve the conference and viola, no GOR.
  6. I swear they are literally copying every message board accusation about how they landed their class last year and recycling it as evidence for how we are landing recruits. The biggest difference though, is it’s much less suspicious when one of the biggest brands in the sport lands national prospects compared to a regional brand that hasn’t accomplished anything of national relevance since 1939. Last time they played for a conference championship, Bill Clinton was President.
  7. Amazing how quickly this has moved.
  8. Lol at them comparing themselves to Alabama and us to Auburn. Historically they’re not even in the same stratosphere as either of those. They had one good recruiting class and suddenly they’re Alabama.
  9. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the series and thought the final duel was awesome, but I don’t really get the point of the series from a storytelling perspective. By the end, we’re essentially where we were at the end of ROTS. Kenobi beat Vader’s ass but couldn’t mercy kill him, then he left to watch over Luke on Tattooine. It was enjoyable but pointless in the grand scheme. I didn’t mind the Reva character but the storyline in episode 6 was pointless. Should’ve killed her off in episode 5. Broken mask Vader was really well-done.
  10. Which makes it more amazing that he’s that powerful even though he has fully robotic limbs and is practically a walking life support machine. If he hadn’t lost to Kenobi on Mustafar, he’d probably be the most powerful force wielder ever.
  11. Obi Wan sneaking Leia out in an oversized trench coat right before that was comically bad
  12. So Tala is “whispering” to Obi Wan with multiple other Imperials around her, then knocks out another officer who questions her and lazily hides his body where others can easily find it. Then when Kenobi is trying to sneak around he’s half out of a window when the storm troopers walk by and they somehow don’t see him. This show definitely holds true to cannon by reinforcing how utterly inept the Empire is.
  13. To be fair, that’s been an issue since ROTS when he watched Padre give birth to Luke and Leia. He didn’t suddenly find out of her existence in this show.
  14. I agree about some of the questionable plot holes and Reva not being a great character. However, given the context of the story it makes complete sense for Obi Wan’s character to be in his current mental state. His entire family that he’d known for almost his whole life was almost completely eradicated with the help of the apprentice he had trained since he was a child. He then had to confront and (from his perspective) kill the boy whom he’d developed such a strong connection with over the years by dismembering him and watching him burn alive. The empire hunts down anybody force sensitive and kills them or turns them into Inquisitors. Then in this story, he finds out Anakin somehow survived being burnt alive and is on a mission to find and kill Kenobi. With all that in mind, it makes sense for Obi Wan to be shut off from the force and suffering from severe PTSD in the story.
  15. They’re basically following The Dark Knight Rises storyline. Hero who’s been out of practice is reluctantly pulled back into the game only to get their ass whipped by the villain. So I’m guessing the rest of the series will be Kenobi regaining his force capabilities and either holding his own against Vader or straight up beating him but sparing his life in a rematch. I wonder how they’re gonna tie it up where Kenobi can return to Tattoine to watch over Luke without drawing Vader there. Maybe Kenobi somehow fakes his death?
  16. I like Hopper and all, but the Russia storyline is a drag. The California group would be more bearable if Argyle wasn’t around. Vecna is a really interesting character and adds a lot more layers to the story than just the demogorgans or Mindflayer IMO. The ending of episode 4 was really well done.
  17. Considering how much he seemed to struggle even to save Leia when she was falling, it’s safe to say he’s rusty. I mean he hasn’t really used the force in 10 years. That’s why he kept telling Bail Organa he’s not the man he once was. Of course peak Kenobi could take the three of the Inquisitors on at once and win. I mean, he defeated peak Vader (at least physically) but they’ve got to make it somewhat evenly matched. I’m guessing he’s gonna gradually regain his powers throughout the series leading up to a potential showdown with Vader. Obviously at this point he’d be no match for Vader.
  18. Obi Wan pulled a Heisenberg in Tuco’s office with the spice and I love it.
  19. What the actual fuck. Charge those motherfuckers as accessories to murder
  20. As much as he was referenced in Breaking Bad, he was only on-screen in one episode and that was the one when Saul and Walt use his services at the end of the series. He wasn’t even on-screen when Jesse initially called him before he realized Walt had poisoned Brock and left to beat up Saul.
