  1. You’re good at proving my points. I should give you the mic. I guess you also missed my example with cartoon characters but, I only mention “people for being fired for saying bad things.” Can you read?
  2. People get fired for their opinions all the time. We live in a world where certain cartoon characters are removed and business owners are forced to facilitate people; rather than these people not watching that specific cartoon or simply ignoring the unwanted businesses. Too say that there is no such thing as cancel culture is not only ignorant but incredibly stupid. We never had people fired for simply speaking out things that offended others. This is new. When you say “people are being held accountable for their words and actions.” We aren’t addressing “actions.” Free speech is only about what you’re saying not doing. Furthermore, this has nothing to do with holding someone accountable for what they said. Again, people can say whatever they want regardless of who it offends, disagree, agree, etc. You can engage in a constructive debate saying anything you want on the UT Austin campus. The truth of this matter is that in today’s world, it’s absolutely, without question, easier to offend someone or find those who are easily offended.
  3. There are have people that have lost their jobs in both normal work conditions, tv hosting, and numerous other examples throughout our country. As much as I hate newer terms, the term “cancel culture” is there for an actual reason. These issues did not exist in previous generations. We also did not have the far reach of idiotic social media. This is absolutely attributed to more recent generations. I can see this clearly bothers you for someone to endorse more free thinking schools of thought. If you were to compare me to something you could’ve chosen Bob Marley or Rage Against the Machine, but instead you went with your favorite website which is ironically the opposite of freedom of speech or unbridled thought.
  4. I already stated most of what you said in less words. I’ll simplify my post since your reading comprehension sucks. How do I compare to texags?
  5. I reference UT, freedom of speech & thought, and respecting people’s opinions. You reference texags. You’re dumber than shit smashed with a club.
  6. This hasn’t existed for years. Different points of view are no longer respected or allowed. New generations cancel anyone that goes against the grain whether right, wrong, agree, disagree, etc. New generations are known for killing the 1st amendment right. “I Disapprove of What You Say, But I Will Defend to the Death Your Right to Say It” While I respect the view of anyone or anything, I may not like it but I will not ever be in a position to disallow it. I always loved UT for the difference in perspectives and the freedom of thought. Sadly, I certainly don’t see the same occurring in this day and age.
  7. In 4 words, you summed up your entire website.
  8. We used to get plastered downtown and golf at Lions Muni with glow in the dark golf balls. You don’t need light for golf but you do need alcohol, lots of it without light.
  9. I want sun up at 5am and sun down at 12am. How do we make that happen without me moving to fucking Alaska?
  10. I can’t think of any other person that would ruin someone’s future after graduation in something as simple as a commencement speech. Those kids are truly fucked.
  11. Can’t you make your own or some shit? …you’re the Aqua Buddha
  12. I can’t fathom the time, energy and thought it takes to do this at a game I have no stake in….it’s phenomenal.
  13. Smile knowing I was right all along…..…..….. ”you have a higher chance of dying in a nuclear fucking holocaust than winning another title, aggy”
  14. I dunno man, send them Candice Popp and Blind Nate. This war would be over tomorrow…
  15. Also, give us some bath salts, we’ll bite your fucking face clean off the bone. America!!!
  16. Agreed. It’s not just weed either. If you want to try candy flipping or smoke some rocks, we could fly that flag way higher than any other country.
  17. I’ve seen this occur. Too much sugar in the urine which was a sign of diabetes. Next thing you know, dog was losing limbs and had to be put down. As much fun as it sounds getting his dong licked, it could be a health issue.
  18. Wtf dude?!?!? This thread was 100% serious posts only…..until this.
  19. Finally caught up on this thread. With all the carnage, courage and insanity, the most terrifying thing to read was about Nicole’s box being pounded.
  20. That would be my concern while bombs are flying overhead. “I hope I don’t get Covid”
  21. WW2 draft was 18-45 and the last article I read talked about how the US military estimates that around only 1/3 of the American populace that isn't already in the military would qualify and make it through a boot camp. So, if you're below the age of 45 and can pass a PFT with 6-9 weeks of training, you're in. Congrats! Well, if he’s retiring below 45, he’s got the resources to dodge this one…
