Trying to get a break from being in the house 24/7. Give me the spots we should spend a long weekend to escape. Ideally, no more than 3 hour drive. Decent food is a must so leaning towards just outside of San Antonio.
Investing directly with a developer is the way to go at that level. Have to find one you trust, though.
eh, that is what i expected and why i have steered them towards rental houses. thanks
How much are you seeking to invest in a single deal? That will drive a lot of it.
for my parents, $500k. i do have a few friends that are looking around the $1m mark so would like deals that are between $500k-$1m.
We upgraded our water kettle recently, because I’m a dumbass but easily best appliance upgrade ever.
Increased my tea intake so definitely drinking more water plus saves so much time
Over supplementation is can also be very bad. Also quality of ingredients. Different vitamins even if same don’t always have the right composition or asborbtion ability.
I regularly take multi, zinc (shown to help shorten illness), and magnesium (many people are deficit and shown to help with sleep). I don’t take all three every day btw.
No, they tend to require upkeep and maintenance. Given their cost, I have always argued that is more economic to plan to stay in a hotel. I don't have kids so my tolerance for house that doesn't fully function for a few days is higher than most.
1. Burn it to the ground
2. Let insurance handle it
2a. Try to get the tenant to pay for some of it (at very least keep deposit)
2b. Pay someone in Austin to manage as it will require lots of onsite effort to remodel
2c. Wait it out as construction cost will be insane next couple months if you can afford it. Have it cleaned up and dried out. I am sure the condo association has some insurance to help cover in these instances
