  1. Well...not ALL programs get good with bad players...
  2. Pretttttty sure I sat next to the guy in the middle on a flight back from ATX to Houston Hobby today? No katfid
  3. Nice! Thanks. We’re staying at Paris.
  4. Just booked my flight for next Wednesday. Playing in WSOP tag-team event with my dad. Staying at Paris but will most likely be heading elsewhere for non-poker gambling. Where are the best places to play BJ not on the strip?
  5. I feel you on that. My max effort during the summer months in Houston is around 8 or so miles at once due to the humidity. I ran 15 miles fairly easily at the same pace when I visited my parents this last weekend in NE Texas. The humidity down here in Houston is a killer.
  6. Britt Mitchell, face plant false start against aggy in 2010 is all I remember from 2010.
  7. I was on creatine back in September - November. I didn't "load" and just did a 5mg/day for 3 months. I gained probably 5 pounds or so? I didn't find that it actually helped all that much. I was also lifting more than running at that time. I did notice my arms felt fuller/bigger (if that makes sense) but didn't have any effect on my legs or running capabilities.
  8. My wife and I signed up for the Mt. Charleston Marathon north of Vegas next year so we've got two marathons next year (Houston). This one is mostly downhill and looks to be a great time. We're meeting some friends out there as well and it's my birthday weekend. I'm also planning the CapTex tri next year as well in late May. I'm still consistently running since my last race at the beginning of April but we're coming up on the hotter months and humidity is a bitch in Houston. I'm probably running 35 miles per week right now and would like to keep consistent at it throughout the summer to dive right into marathon training when the weather turns cooler. Should be fun.
  9. Pure protein bars from costco are legit. You can get them anywhere but the bundle of 24 or so for like $25 is the best deal. I've also been a fan of Quest bars lately. I'll grab them in the airport when I don't have time to get food.
  10. Just opened a chase sapphire account for the 80k bonus points for $4k in spending. Will be my corporate travel card. I typically spend around 3k a week with flight, hotel, meals, rental car, etc. Also been flying delta and staying at marriotts pretty religiously the past few months. Cut up my corporate issued card as that program is getting reigned back in. Any tips or tricks for a newbie on point programs?
  11. I bake my own. About 2 cups of bread flour, two cups of water, 2.25 tablespoons of yeast, 2 tablespoons kosher salt, mix, cover and let rise for 3 hours. Put in the oven at 450 for 35 minutes. It’s delicious and easy.
  12. My HEB prime steaks are the equivalent of Costco choice. Costco prime is a very very good steak. I've just started buying choice at Costco.
  13. This. Most of my lucky's are from Costco. Wish they carried 33/32 at mine. Puma socks and boxers are my go-to as well. Very comfortable.
  14. I think they're pretty standard pricing across Texas (my mom shops in the Frisco Costco and has the same prices as me in Houston). Choice tenderloin/filet are around $19 per pound, prime tenderloin/filet is $22/$23 per pound. I believe Prime Strip is around $20 per pound, choice strip is $18? Prime Ribeye is $19 and choice ribeye is $16/$17. I haven't bought strip or ribeye from Costco in a while. Filet prices were as of last weekend.
  15. Good luck man. I’m eyeing a 70.3 in 2025.
  16. I like Jeff nippard. He’s a no BS kinda guy that promotes full body exercises. He does tend to concentrate more on the bodybuilding aspect of fitness which I’m not really into any longer but a lot of his diet information is very good.
  17. 3 scrambled eggs with valentina's. Cup of oatmeal with splenda, cinnamon, and a serving of peanut butter mixed up.
  18. YMMV. I’m a distance runner with an Apple Watch. I think it’s an 8. I use it to track my mileage. It also has a heart rate monitor than varies a lot when compared to my wife’s Garmin watch. It’s accurate enough if you aren’t moving around but if you walk, run, bike, it’s not much help in terms of heart monitors.
  19. Definitely not buying into the off-season koolaid (yet) until I see at least some improvement in the WR room and DL with my own eyes. Hopefully we see something at the spring game. It is nice to see some good news at RB and Quinn taking the off-season seriously. Been burned too many times by the 9.95ers to buy into the hype. Show me.
