  1. I’ve switched sides of the aisle since then. One thing that all surly members share in common though, regardless of political affiliation though is: Fuck aggy Rick.
  2. @NeverMarryAStripper should give Jeff Banks some advice.
  3. Fuck this sucks. Didn’t believe it when I saw it on Twitter. Thoughts are with Sam and his Mom and family. Can’t even imagine.
  4. Almost. Vaccinated people getting yelled at by a masked person to put a mask on.
  5. Actually, in comparison to casein, whey isolate is a relatively quick digestive which is why it's recommended to drink casein at night to allow digestion while you sleep. But cool.
  6. I feel like we've reached the point where the typical "Karen" is now on the other side of the aisle and doesn't want to return back to normal due to Stockholm Syndrome.
  7. I get all my briskets from Costco in Clear Lake. Prime is $3.59/pound when not on sale. I've bought one as low as $2.49/pound from Costco last November.
  8. I do a scoop and a half of whey isolate right after the gym (about 40g). I then eat the hell out of chicken or some other lean protein for dinner. About 30 minutes or so before bed, I do a scoop and a half of casein protein (again, about 40g). The only real fat in my diet is from Italian dressing for my salad at dinner, a bit of shredded cheese, and some cashews at night with the casein.
  9. You know what’s awesome? Going to a crawfish boil in a relative’s backyard spur of the moment because everyone is vaccinated.
  10. I feel like doctors offices just want to tell you you have Covid. It’s the first thing they immediately test for, if you have even a single symptom overlap. Strep test from urgent care was positive. Covid test from pediatrician was negative. Shocking I tell you.
  11. Rant time. Kid (4 years old) is sick with what I think is strep. Tried to get him an appointment to see his doctor yesterday. Doctor said we had to do a telemedicine visit today at 9:30 in order to get a swab test for strep. Fine. Got on the computer and the PA is asking us all these COVID questions. I said he had COVID back in January (positive test by the same pediatrician office we’re at) and she says that all signs are pointing to COVID again and he needs a Covid test and not a strep test. I’m not a doctor but isn’t it nearly impossible to get this shit twice in 3 months? Additionally, I just want a fucking strep test. He doesn’t have COVID. Doctor’s office, especially pediatric doctors, are so hesitant to see any patients that are sick right now it’s infuriating. He won’t even be seen by a doctor and no one will look in his throat because he can’t go in the office. They’ll only give him a test for Covid and send us home. I’m going to have to go to an urgent care to get a strep test. Fuck Covid.
  12. I'm probably a victim to watching way too many documentaries about it that I'm afraid to ever try it for two reasons: 1) long-term health issues in my 40s/50s and 2) loving it too much and not being able to quit (leading to number 1). Kinda like drugs and alcohol to me. I don't want to make it a part of my routine because it'd be so hard to quit.
  13. It began with Reggie "Real Deal" McNeal is better than VY.
  14. Genuinely curious question: why are you running gear? I’ve watched quite a few documentaries on people running tren with test and the benefits, side effects from it. Not hating at all, just curious as to why you’re doing it. Is it to get big, push your natural limits or something else? I definitely understand the need for men with low T to be on TRT but I’m curious of your age, any worry of long term side effects from you, etc. Thanks bud.
  15. Got a 5k on May 15th. Started back running a few weeks ago. My wife is running the 15k with her dad. Back last summer/fall, it would have been a good goal to shoot for running a 15k. After getting back in to the gym, running has kind of lost its luster for me. I was down to an 8:30/mil for 4+ miles at a time. Down to a 9:15/mile for 3 miles now. I may be able to get in to the 8:00s by race day. That’ll be a good goal.
  16. Intermittent fasting helped me get from 300+ to 180s. I still do it to stay on the leaner side. I’ve gained about 4 pounds in 1.5 months by increasing protein intake for dinner/snack in the evenings before bed. I don’t “bulk and then cut” because for me, I like seeing my lifts go up very gradually while still being as lean as possible. It’s hard to “get off the wagon” of bulking for me. I really do one meal a day (dinner) and a snack consisting of carbs mainly (and casein protein) at night about 30 minutes before I go to bed. Dinner consists of a lean protein of some sort and greens. Pork tenderloin, chicken breast, venison, turkey, fish, etc. Im up to 187 pounds body weight, bench one rep max of 230, squat 230x5. Never looked this good in my life really. I’m 6’2” also.
  17. Ian Boyd picks his nose and eats his boogers. He tries to give this persona that he knows what he’s talking about but in actuality, he knows fuckall.
  18. I look like a chemo patient at 180 and I’m 6’2”. 185-190 is my sweet spot.
  19. Would like to watch the spring game tomorrow. Anybody got a link or know of any services with a free trial with LHN?
  20. Agree. Start looking good and your woman will get insecure and it will motivate her to look better as well.
  21. Standard opens in Houston, which I would imagine be comparable to San Antonio/Austin/Dallas are $20 to $25 at $1/$3 games. I would have made it closer to $100 if I were in the same position (button with 3 players in pot). I had a very similar situation a few years ago at a card house in Houston. UTG open to $25, two callers and I look down at Aces on the button. I 3-bet to $100 and everyone folded. Maybe it was too big but the player pool is completely different between big cities and small town rooms.
