  1. That doesn't top this one, the Barry Switzer sewage treatment plant in Midvale, Utah:
  2. This is a valid point lol
  3. Kalani gettin a raise either way
  4. The P12 and ACC will be better than the Big 12? The new Big 12 has 5 of the current top 16 (AP) teams in it. BYU beat the P12 champs (and 4 other P12 teams). Cinci will be in the playoffs this year. ???
  5. Akshually, BYU won the P12 this year
  6. It's the principle, man
  7. USC has a talented QB ready to go, tho
  8. Doubtful. Slightly awkward, out-of-the-blue moves are kind of on brand for him.
  9. Texas gonna join the SEC sooner than 2025?
  10. Twitter on a roll today lol
  11. You ever been to Hillsburrito, I mean Hillsboro?
  12. Congrats to Baylor. You showed as a talented, well-coached team. You were definitely the better team today and deserved the win. Also, appreciate the warm welcome to the Big 12 given today (off the field). Classy stuff.
  13. Lol (forgive me if already posted):
  14. There's already a movie about this
  15. No good reason. Historically, there have actually been more than 2 shades. Late 1800s the school adopted blue and white as official school colors. Original color was a light blue ("Columbia blue"). A few lighter, brighter shades were seen in the early years. 1950s-60s navy was used. In the 70s, royal blue was adopted. BYU noticed that fans weren't really wearing the school colors much (especially compared to other schools) and the BYU fans in the stands looked like a bowl of "skittles". So, in the early 2000s we let a market research team tell us what to do and they said go navy because people have navy stuff already and more of them will wear it to games (lots of cheap BYU fans unwilling to buy royal stuff didn't help). It worked, as far as getting more people wearing school colors to games, but fans missed the unique royal color and its association with BYU success in the 80s and early 90s (national championship, heisman trophy, top 25 finishes, LaVell Edwards, etc.). Soon after Kalani became head coach he pushed royal because of aforementioned and to signal a return to greatness and brighter future.
  16. Happy Halloween I guess
  17. I love royal blue the most, but these all navy are so clean.

    Cincy @ ND NBC

IF both BYU and Cincy win out and go undefeated, then I think BYU should be ranked higher than Cincy. Cincy had a nice win today, no doubt, but BYU's schedule is significantly tougher. Are you arguing Cincy has a tougher schedule? Re: USF: Struggled? Nah. It was 28-6 at the half and BYU let their foot off the gas. We let them back in and didn't crush them, but we took care of business. Kalani isn't really a style points kind of guy (but maybe he should be). His MO is to just grind it out down the stretch, run out the clock, protect the lead, and get the win.

Compared to Cinci's schedule it is and that's the point: BYU schedule > Cinci schedule.

Ahem. If BYU wins out (still a big if), we will have a better resume. Cinci will have beat ND and Indiana. BYU will have beat 5 P12 teams including ranked Utah, ranked ASU, and USC; will have beat Virginia, possibly ranked Baylor, Boise State, and some others.
  21. This worked out well:
  22. I love this for many reasons, but doing this at the same time as getting an invite to the B12 after being snubbed by the P12 for many years is extra fun.
