  1. For BYU, obviously Utah, and then would add TCU (got beef from MWC days) and Baylor (religion component would make it spicier).
  2. Utah doing everything it can to avoid joining the B12, but the B12 is going to vote them in anyway is distateful. I get teams wanting B10 or SEC over anything else, but Utah seems to almost be going in kicking and screaming. Have some self respect B12.
  3. The thing about this is that almost all of the comments comparing utah to aggy are from non-BYU fans in here. I may like the posts, but I haven't compared them once. Dreamer maybe once. I think it's funny that a bunch of fans of other schools are coming to the conclusion on their own without me/BYU fans in here (2 of us as far as I can tell) uttering a word, that lots of Utah fans are highly delusional and arrogant.
  4. You're right. Urban Meyer wouldn't mention BYU by name; just called us "the school down south" and he put BYU logos in the urinals. A real class act.
  5. Max Hall said it best:
  6. If this is true, Utah is screwed.
  7. Seriously. "Another meeting is planned soon"
  8. Utah: Just sitting around "I am groot" 😂
  9. Utah, ASU, and AZ joining together is different than other messages out there. According to this article, which quotes ESPN’s Ian Fitzsimmons on SiriusXM College Sports radio mentioning that he was told, “Utah isn’t exactly returning the phone calls,” with the Big 12 Conference. Fitzsimmons mentioned that he spoke about Utah to an official of the Big 12 Conference official who said, “They’re OK in hoops, but they sell out (their football stadium) in a top 35 media market.” He then asked about when it comes to TV dollars why aren’t they going after the Utes? He was reportedly told that Utah isn’t exactly returning the phone calls. He continued by saying, “I was told that Utah doesn’t want to appear to be following their rival in BYU. We all know that college athletics can be damn petty but I mean, look, we’re talking about your future. Pick up the phone.” Maybe this is changing as stark reality starts to hit Utah, and Thamel is now right, but I hope Utah is stupid enough to stay in the WAC10.
  10. I'd prefer a California team. B12 wants to be the premier hoops league. I'd go Stanford or alternatively SDSU. Cal can get bent.
  11. I like this except you included UU.
  12. They are probably finally coming to the realization that BYU is in a better situation than them now and there is a significant chance they get relegated to MWC+. Or, almost as bad, they have to swallow their pride and follow BYU to the Big 12, if there is even an open spot for them, which there very well may not be. Their identity has been so wrapped up in rubbing shoulders with Stanford and Cal and being in a better sports position than BYU, that I am not sure they are mentally able to make the move.
  13. The big question is if UO is clear-eyed enough to see the reality of their situation and recognize that the Big 12 is their best option?
  14. If they feel like Scalley is their best option, they'll deem him rehabilitated, which I think will be the likeliest outcome.
  15. Heavy speculation that Whittingham is close to retiring, maybe even as soon as the end of the upcoming season. Utah's last two coaching hires have been exceptional (Urban Meyer and Whittingham), but can they do it again? They may enter a period of mediocrity soon.
  16. GK & Pac presidents = Soviet sub captain
  17. BYU athletics media team is top tier.
  18. This is the way.
  19. Hey everyone B12 will still have a blue blood in it after this season! Sweet!
  20. Utah you should totally stick it out with Stanford, Cal, WSU, OSU, SDSU, SMU, Boise State, etc. in the traded up Pac 12.
