  1. More than happy to help out. Have not read the entire thread but I spent a month in Vietnam, a month in Cambodia, and 2 weeks in Bali. The main thing I have to say about Cambodia is that it is rough around the edges, but I like that. Koh Rong (Island) is a must! Vietnam is somewhere in between Cambodia and Thailand. Thailand is fucking disney world as is Bali unless you get really remote. I had an Australian buddy explain it to me like this. "The farther away from Australia you meet an Aussie abroad, the better they are. Bali is cheaper to get to than domestic flights, therefore every bogan in Oz makes the trip up there to piss themselves. Bali is Aussie Cancun. I agreed with him until I got out to the remote areas and the Gili Islands. Canggu was the only area I enjoyed in typical Bali.
  2. Like I said, fuck you bitching pussies. Texas.
  3. Y’all are pussies, were like 5 mins in the game. It’s a road game, they just need to settle down.
  4. I'm in. We are going to be healthy.
  5. Agreed. kenya, tanzania, SA, it is where all the tourists go for safari. You want to see something unique, head to Namibia.
  6. should check out the skeleton coast in Namibia
  7. https://www.alexanderroberts.com/destination/africa/kenya.aspx We did Kenya + Tanzania The Great Migration The best part is we stayed in the lodge at Massai Mara which allowed us to freeroam the park as opposed to many parks where you have to stay on the road. We were able to actually track down the animals and found a leopard which are pretty rare apparently.
  8. Agree, through Alexander and Roberts we stayed at first class safari "glamps" had a driver and a spotter in every vehicle and flew via plane to 5 different national parks. (think infiniti pools over looking the Sarangetti) It was outstanding. We would look at those shitty vans crammed full of 14 Japanese tourists and cringe. If you are going all the way there, might as well do it the right way.
  9. Concur, the JA lounge in Tokyo is the bomb. Hung out there for about 4 hours on my way back from Sydney. I remember them having a red carpet when I went to check in. Total class the whole way.
  10. I did DFW to London to Nairobi on British Air and was able to fly top deck on the 747 which was a pretty unique experience. Don't know how much longer those planes will be around.
  11. I did an Alexander and Roberts Safari 2 years ago in Kenya/Tanzania. Was dope. Saw the big 5.
  12. Yea, I live in Deep Ellum and am spoiled by the fact that I can walk to Pecan Lodge. Smelling it every day to/from work is torture.
  13. If you haven’t been to Hibiki in deep Ellum you’re doing it wrong. Deep sushi sucks, put sour cream in everything and cover it in sauce. Not. Real. Sushi.
  14. I’m no BBQ savant, work close to ten50 or whatever. What’s the general consensus?
  15. Thanks my man. I think we have found our spot. Casa Aamori in between Mazunte/Zipolite. Will definitely make a day trip over to Huatulco, it just seems to be either dive hotels with little to no atmosphere or exclusive resorts. Manzunte seems to have some really unique boutique hotels that dont break the bank.
  16. I'll just convince her to be open and how its all part of the "experience"

  19. Need... haynes king... aggy tears.... NOWPLEASE
  20. Thanks guys. Wasn't considering Oaxaca City but make spend a day there or two. Looking forward to Puerto Escondido (best surf in Mexico) as well. Heard good things about Huatulco.
  21. Hey All,I'm taking the GF down to the state of Oaxaca to explore what is described as the most laid back "ex hippie" area of Mexico. I have been wanting to explore the area but have done very little research. I get the general vibe of the area, but would love to hit a couple beach towns and found some smaller unique boutique hotels or just generally unique places to stay. I don't have my heart set on any place in particular and would love some recos if anyone has been in the area.Thank you in Advance.
