  1. For Halloween season, a thread for some horror short films. Some through the month will have violence and blood and gore and stuff, so standard NSFW disclaimer for the thread. Today, The Backrooms.
  2. Two years, I suppose. Take away the $13mil payment from the university altogether. OSU lost $14 million in 20-21 due to your covid year, and then lost $12mil in 21-22. If they had been break-even in 21-22, then they should have shown a $13mil profit with the university payment included, but they didn't.
  3. But aren't you counting that $13mil twice? By my understanding of it, OSU lost around $14mil in 20-21 because of Covid. To offset this loss, the university paid in almost $13mil during the 21-22 season. You're saying the 21-22 season was profitable by about a million, but that includes the almost $13mil to offset the year prior. So if you move that to 20-21 to offset that loss, doesn't that leave 21-22 at a big loss? 21-22 might still have been affected by Covid, I suppose, but the numbers seem to me to show a profit for that year only because they got a big university payment to offset the previous year.

I understand both your frustration and the urgency of the current state of things for you, but I ask just that you revisit this thought. Dressing in drag is not part of my own personal sexuality, but I have known several drag queens through the years, and for most that I've known, drag has been an important part of their life for them in both coming to terms with their own personal sexuality and with their comfort of expressing who they felt themselves truly to be. There are many whose drag is a stepping stone to understanding and accepting their own feelings of gender dysphoria. Dismissing their expression of their sexuality as 'playing dress up' does not advance your own cause in my opinion. Take it for what you will. Not an attack.
  9. Jeez - so now Porky's II: The Next Day can be viewed as a legit documentary.

Well. news lately has been pretty lousy, but thankfully, a new player has entered the game to brighten things up, if just a little. Ladies and gentlemen, and everyone in between, welcome our new cyber-vigilantes: The Furries! Secretive Furries Group Is Hacking Anti-Transgender State Governments A group of gay furries has claimed responsibility for a series of hacker attacks on various government websites in five states that have enacted anti-trans legislation. The group, known as SiegedSec, has attacked websites for state and local governments in Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina South Dakota, and Texas. The group most recently leaked data from the city of Fort Worth in Texas and promises to continue such hacks to call out what they see as the transphobic actions of government officials. The Guardian has confirmed the data's authencity. The group encouraged readers to “be gay do crime” on its website while also heralding past hacks. So far the group has claimed responsibility for attacks online against the Nebraska Supreme Court, South Dakota Board of Commission, Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, Pennsylvania Provider Self Services, and South Carolina Justice Information Services. “We have proudly defaced the South Dakota Boards and Commissions website! We left little special messages across their site,” the band of gay furries announced on its website. “Unfortunately, they have now fixed the defacement. Since it seems South Dakota didn’t appreciate our gift, we will offer gifts to someone else. We’ve hacked and leaked documents from the Nebraska Supreme Court Intranet and South Carolina Criminal Justice Information Services.”
  11. Haha! What would it cost, like, 0.1% of the military's annual allotted budget? Maybe build a really nice one for 0.2%?
