  1. Haha! I can’t be the only one who thought at first glance that they were announcing it was a game-time decision whether even Reveille was going to be available for UMass, right?
  2. Well, I know two aggies that are heading toward the 'Don't care, had sex' side.
  3. Haynes King really wishing he had the flu right about now
  4. Texum Aggy: The Most Influential Program in College Football! *checks notes* Oh, sorry. Influenzal... The Most Influenzal Program.
  5. Just saw this on Showtime. Loved it. It brings some gore, too.
  6. Hate at first sight during the Astros game last night:
  7. I don't usually take the time to read too much into horror movies because I think normally the moral turns out to be a very basic principle, but here goes for Barbarian:
  8. Sound effects,eh? Stadium announcer: ”And now… Let’s hear it for…. YOUR… TEXUM…. AGGY…!”
  9. I hate the 'Kung Fu rule' in group fights. One hero good guy takes on a whole gang of bad guys, and they only attack one at a time? All of the other bad guys dance around in a circle like video game characters waiting to be selected. Some movies get it right, but other movies it's just like, 'ok, and you're next. No, not you yet - that other guy first, then you.'
  10. Just joined the Barbarian club as well. Very suspenseful, and interesting horror film; and really very little gore for those who are looking to avoid that kind of thing.
  11. Well, that's definitely how it starts anyway...
  12. Jimbo Fisher: the 10-Year Contract that Destroyed A&M’s 100-Year Decision
  13. (Sarcasm) I can’t wait to see Witch Doctor earn its place in the seedlings after facing the gauntlet of Slammo!, Rusty, and HiJinx in qualifying rounds. (/sarcasm)
  14. "There are two fouls, both on the offense... Roughing the passer on the defense..." The fix is in.
  15. Just watched Speak No Evil - yikes. Fairly slow moving throughout, but it pays off to be super disturbing in the end. Reminds me of The Invitation, which I also recommend (the 2015 one; I haven’t seen the 2022 one), in that you don’t really grasp what’s fully going on in the movie and then it just goes crazy real fast.
  16. Some new rules for the tournament this year. Looks like they are trying to reduce some of the controversies of the last tournament.
  17. Fall (2022). Really pretty good, I thought. Giving it an 8. Very tense first half to 3/4 until you get used to it. Had my palms actually sweating. Ending was kind of quick and convenient, but it was after an interesting twist bit and a LOT of nerve-wracking build up.
  18. Why would anyone pay $20,000 for "Event Co-Host"? One "Event Co-Host" - $20,000, 4 reception tickets, 2 dinners w/ preferred seating vs. Two "Premium Dinner Attendee"s - $20,000, 4 reception tickets and 4 dinners w/ preferred seating Why do the perks get worse the more you pay? You get fewer dinners vs. tickets and you lose preferred seating??
