  1. Or just throw a better ball where DB doesn’t even have a chance to interfere
  2. I’d have to go back and look but I guarantee you his feet are parallel to LOS. He’s trying to throw to the middle or right hash but his body is not in position so it’s going to go the way his arm goes when throwing across his body.
  3. So you’re saying he can’t make NFL throws with all his arm talent?
  4. Window was massive wtf you mean? If it’s on a rope that’s an easy completion that you see in the league all the time.
  5. On C&F they're showing Nate Marshall highlights and he's flexed out at WR mossing people and running routes. Very interesting prospect....super athletic.
  6. Why can't @immamac become Michael Dell's boyfriend and talk him into buying all the recruits!
  7. The all arm thing is why his throws are sailing and floating...it's infuriating to watch. Because other times you'll see him use good mechanics and step into his throws and you see the zip he has. If he can apply that to his deeper passes he would have been able to hit Bond in stride, hit Golden on the wheel route vs Arkansas, or a streaking Wingo for a touchdown. Instead they're floated and gives defenders time to close on receivers and cause incompletions that we ultimately end up bitching should have been PI. Part of that is why I was complaining so much on some of his positive throws like the Moore touchdown vs Vandy.....that shit is rearing it's head and could cost us in big games.
  8. Those were good but his ball placement and velocity on the Helm TD in the back of the endzone was just perfect spot where only Helm was going to catch it or it's incompletion out the back of the endzone. From a detail standpoint I did see that Quinn was more fundamentally sound in the 1st half with most of his throws minus a few. The few being that weird fucking all arm throw he does where his feet are parallel with the LOS.
  9. Gerry Hamilton Monday AM Recruiting: Thoughts on targets and commits The Texas Longhorns have the No. 4 ranked class with the commitment Saturday by 4-star+ defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou (Loganville, Ga./Grayson). With the level and number of top targets remaining, Texas is zeroing in on the No. 2 class with a shot to finish No. 1 on December 4. OnTexasFootball begins Monday with thoughts on the top 5 targets remaining on the board. Four-star++ ATH Michael Terry III (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) Terry III celebrated his 18th birthday last night with family and friends. His birthday cake was half Texas and half Nebraska. So Oregon is officially out lol, but that has been the case. Texas remains the favorite over the Cornhuskers. The key question with the recruitment is when will Terry III announce his decision. OTF stopped by Alamo Heights High Friday, and the prevailing thought was December 4 right now. Terry and AHHS are looking at a deep playoff run, and Terry doesn't want to make anything about himself. Five-star OT and Oklahoma commit Michael Fasusi (Lewisville, Texas/High) Texas definitely helped the cause with the Friday night/Saturday visit, that included Fasusi's father and sister. OTF was told the visit was a step up from the June official visit, and that Texas has put themselves squarely in the mix ahead of this weekends visit to Texas A&M. There is optimism on the 40 Acres with Fasusi following the visit. OTF is watching to see who makes the visit to Texas A&M with Fasusi this weekend. Oklahoma also remains in the mix, but has the task of being able to convince Fasusi to sign December 4 with the possibility of not having the OC and OL coaching positions settled. Five-star DL Justus Terry (Manchester, Ga./High) Let's be clear on one thing, Kirby Smart doesn't want to see Terry sign with Texas. Auburn is one thing, as the Tigers are the neighboring state and have signed many tremendous players out of the Atlanta area and Peach State over the years and will continue to do so. But Texas beginning to have success in Georgia is not what Smart ideally wants to have happen. And this is especially the case with a 5-star defensive line prospect. So that is what Texas is up against. Texas has continued to have some positive convos and enough momentum that Chris Gilbert attended his playoff game last Friday. That was ahead of an official visit to Auburn. This is a "big boy", gird up your loins level recruitment - to say the least. Four-star++ Auburn commit Nathaniel Marshall (Oak Park, Il./Fenwick) Texas is battling with Georgia and Auburn down the stretch for high-end defensive linemen. That is exactly where one wants to be. Texas already beat Auburn for Mbatchou. Now, the Horns are working to flip one of the nations most talented 5-tech/long term 5 & 3 prospects. But this one is from Chicago. Marshall made the official visit to Texas over the weekend with his mom and brother. The early word coming out of Austin is Texas feels like the visit went very well, and the Horns have a legit shot. I want to be clear, that's not OTF saying this. Texas has to overcome Auburn's relationship with Marshall and family, and the Tigers are extremely aggressive in the 2025 cycle. Four-star++ Javion Hilson (Cocoa, Fla./High) Hilson made an OV to Michigan over the weekend, and is scheduled to be at Texas A&M Saturday-Sunday for an OV. Texas vs. Texas A&M is where the decision was expected to come from headed into the Michigan visit. The big Q for Michigan is if Hilson would actually leave the south for college. To this point, there isn't any sign that he would actually make that leap. Hilson and Texas have continued to have positive communication. Hilson is big on player development, and there is a feeling in Austin that Texas has done everything they can to illustrate that to him. Four-star Kellen Wiley (Seffner,Fla./Armwood) Texas and Florida are battling it out for the 6-3.5, 226-pound linebacker. This process is coming at the Wiley family fast right now, with him being a senior riser. One source very close to the recruitment believed Texas enter the Florida visit over the weekend with a sizable lead over the Gators. Wiley's family absolutely loved the plan Texas has for Wiley's development. Obviously, there is more to the recruitment, but the family thinks very highly of Texas at this point.
  10. Just catching up after a little vacation but watching the game these are my thoughts. Quinn had a really good first half but his deep ball fucking sucks, we all know. Should have at least 3 wide open touchdowns but shit floaters.... His TD throw to Helm was his best completed throw of the season IMO. His best incomplete throw was the one where he escaped the pocket and the ball was dropped by Bolden. I loved what I saw from him before his ankle injury because it seemed like he was on pace to get back to how he was prior to ab injury. Sark should have definitely taken him out midway through the third after it appeared he was on one leg and could barely move. We were up 24-7 and the game was not in doubt. Just pure stupidity and arrogance by Sark and it would have been good reps for Manning vs a good solid defense just in case. I do like the fight Quinn showed staying in on a bum ankle so I'd rate him as a slight pussy for this game.
  11. Then the ultimate wtf happens and Sark's script doesn't work and we're completely fucked.
  12. From what I see in the area it has a large middle class black family base. If we're still living out here our kid would feed into it. But who knows where we will be in 15 years or what the dynamics of SA will be....hell we might be in the suberb of Comfort, TX lol
  13. Which is crazy because this was his feet before he did that...all he had to do was step into his throw and it's a dime to a wide open receiver. Instead of does some weird feet chop thing and throws like pictured with all arm and floats it. How it started: How it went:
  14. We've actually improved on the defensive front with Baker, that's crazy to think about.
  15. Show your work....last time I remember one was mentioned in this thread but 2022 Bama to Worthy
  16. The play that pissed me off the most Saturday was the throw down the sideline that was broken up. Quinn floated the pass in there instead of throwing it on a rope into a HUGE window. This should have been a big gain!
  17. Texas needs to be huge on the flare routes and when A&M starts sitting on those they need to attack the fuck out of York at LB. He's slow and their weakest defender in the pass game. Put him on skates and make him think where he just can't come down hill when we do run the ball.
