  1. We’re not athletic enough to get to some of the blocks but we’re also not strong enough to get enough push with the other blocks due to technique really for both
  2. Knowing Sark and Flood were going to put Stroh at center
  3. Goosby - Brooks - Robertson - Campbell - Baker
  4. Sorry he’s not a 5’5 valley Mexican that looks like he’s speedy Gonzalez when he’s actually slow.
  5. Yes but rely on a unproven true freshmen? CJ hasn’t made a year fully healthy. Potential 2026 RB roster with no portal: Wisner - Only proven back CJ - always injured Clark - unproven Simon - unproven Cooper - True Freshmen, unproven
  6. The only player you can blame inexperience on with the 5 of those who played leading up to Florida is Baker. The issues with Hutson and Stroh have absolutely nothing to do with experience and everything to do with being dog shit.
  7. This line could play for 2 years straight and it won’t make Stoh or Hutson better players.
  8. It’s even more retarded when you play a guy who got his more recently sooner.
  9. We need a running back with breakaway speed that isnt a small framed guy. Someone that can run between tackles, similar to Haynes that transferred from Bama to Michigan. We don’t have a single back like that on the roster.
  10. Reminded me of games earlier in Sarks tenure and at other stops where he’d inexplicably lose a game he shouldn’t.
  11. Don’t worry we still have Cole Hutson who will ruin it
  12. Don’t care 🤷‍♂️
  13. Cause it’s the state fair, not the OU/Texas fair you dumb mother fucker
  14. Milwee teaches it a little too well
  15. It’s not an assumption if it’s the truth. Unrelated to that point
  16. Why are you waiting longer than 30 seconds to eat them?
  17. Bobby Burton Posted 32 minutes ago Six games in, we have now reached the midway point in the season. And some Texas players who have not seen much action (playing in four games or less) are making and/or contemplating decisions about redshirting and then possibly transferring. Yesterday, we heard of one such player who is opting to take the redshirt with the intent of entering the portal in December. He will not play the rest of the season. While we are not going to name the player until he or the team announces it, I can say the player is not a front-line player and really does not have a clear path to the field or to be a large contributor long-term at Texas. Bottom line: these things are unfortunate, but they are bound to happen. Attrition is a natural part of college football. ** Yes, the OL played much better. Yes, Tre Wisner was a shot in the arm to the run game. Yes, Arch Manning was efficient and smart. But the unsung group on Saturday were the receivers for Texas, both the wide outs and the tight ends. In talking with Coach Bob Shipley and Coach Bryan Erwin yesterday for Lunch With the Coach, they both preached about the receivers working harder to give Arch opportunities if and when the pocket broke down. I remember two scrambles for Arch against OU very clearly. In both instances, he escaped the pocket and came near the line of scrimmage to his left. And in both instances, the receivers —Ryan Wingo and DeAndre Moore — found holes in the coverage for Arch. Those plays look easy, but they’re not. Not only was it a cross body throw for Arch, but it takes recognition from the wide receiver. Then they have to find a soft spot for their QBs. Both times, the Sooners had three guys in coverage around Moore and Wingo, yet they found a way. Coach Erwin also applauded the tight ends, saying the variety of looks that two tight end sets can give to an offense makes Texas tough to defend. As Jordan Washington, Spencer Shannon, Nick Townsend and Emaree Winston become more and more integrated and useful, the offense will only get better. Don’t forget about this receiver group. They are improving game by game, too. Roster guys, who we thinking? It’s someone who obviously hasn’t redshirted already.
  18. Mack was playing by game 2. Either way the fact they played Connor stroh as long as they did given he was the worst p4 guard in the country was failure. As I said earlier Brooks should have been starting by SHSU, instead of being thrown out there mid Florida game in a position he hasn’t practiced. They even had a bye week between games to help him
  19. Given his experience he’s now the worst starting lineman on our team.
