  1. Gerry Hamilton Sean Miller establishing 2026 in-state targets Texas head coach Sean Miller made contact with a number of the top in-state prospects in the state Monday. And that includes two legacy recruits in the 2026 cycle that OTF believes the Longhorns lead for. Two talented legacy targets in 2026 ... Austin Goosby, CG, 6-5.5 (Melissa, Texas/High) The younger brother of Trevor Goosby is considered a Texas lean by OTF. A Duke offer could muddy the waters a little, but Texas will be difficult to beat. Sean Miller told Goosby and family on the call Monday that he has a plan for the potential McDonald's All-American and top 35 prospect in the class. Development, culture and fit were at the center point of the conversation. Bo Ogden, G/W, 6-5.5 (Austin, Texas/St. Michael's Catholic) The top 60 ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle made an official visit to Purdue during the season. At the time, my belief is tht Ogden would likely end up at Purdue or Tennessee. Those thoughts have no changed. Texas is the team to beat. Other 2026 in-state Sean Miller offers to know ... Daari Spear, CG, 6-4 (The Colony, Texas/High) Alabama, Texas, Texas Tech, SMU and Tennessee mentioned most headed into the May "live" period. Davion Atkins, PF, 6-8 (Dallas, Texas/Faith Family Academy) Texas, SMU, Kansas, Houston, Texas Tech, Oregon and TCU among the 14 offers. Billy White, F, 6-7 (Corpus Christi, Texas/Veterans Memorial) White has been on campus multiple times, and was arguably a Texas lean early in the season. A fantastic perimeter shooter at this size that has Texas, Tennessee, SMU and Texas A&M at the top of the list of more than 10 offers.

  3. CJ Vogel Week 3 of spring football begins tomorrow morning as the Longhorns take the field for practice No. 7. A few nuggets over the weekend that I picked up on the mini scrimmage/team period from practice No. 6. *** – WR Daylan McCutcheon found the end zone over the middle of the field during the team setting. Route running continues to be a strength for the early enrollee who has continued to see time with the first unit. – A pair of nuggets on the RB room. RB Christian Clark has been making some noise this spring after recovering from an Achilles injury last fall. The staff is keeping Clark pretty limited in the live situations so far this spring, but other than that, Clark has consistently earned praise for his cutting ability off the Achilles. Should there be no setbacks, and I am knocking on wood as I type, Clark will have a role this fall. Another RB mentioned was early enrollee James Simon who got loose a couple of times Thursday night. Simon is listed at 205 pounds on the Texas roster, but he is probably closer to 210 and carrying it well. – Two sources indicated RT Andre Cojoe continues to be a positive surprise this spring. The battle between Cojoe and Baker is legit. One source indicated that they believed the job would be pretty quickly decided for Baker, though Cojoe has given Baker a run for his money and continues to piece things together.
  4. Blake Munroe Spoke to a few sources across multiple sports this morning and got a lot of good news across all fronts. Baseball: Texas swept a Top 5 Georgia squad over the weekend, without both Adrian Rodriguez and Max Belyeu. I checked on the status of those two earlier and was told that both are recovering well. Rodriguez is "structurally fine" but the staff does not want to rush his return. "It's solely when he feels better... but we need it to not hurt," said a source. As for Belyeu, it sounds like the staff is cautiously optimistic on a return sooner rather than later.
  5. Blake said some stuff has changed with Rori from his last report and that it seems like she is more than likely coming back to Texas.
  6. How's the yard pimp? Always tough to find places that do it well.
  7. At the district track meet he just ran 21.6 in the 200 according to Gerry.
  8. So has he lost the locker room yet?
  9. Gerry Hamilton Texas OL recruiting: Yes, maybe or work to do The Texas Longhorns are loading up on the offensive line in the 2026 cycle. It's a class that will for sure have five, with six n outside shot. With two commitments in the fold, the needs remain two pure offensive tackles and best available interior prospect. This morning, OTF plays the recruiting game of Yes (Texas leads), maybe (50-50 or close to that) and work to do (obvious). Commitments ... 10. Gerry Hamilton Texas Hoops: Size everywhere, more portal additions to come For years Texas fans have clamored for a roster with true bigs and size across the board. Well, Sean Miller is already proving he is your guy in that regard. The three portal additions so far are a 6-foot-8 wing/F that will be an NBA draft pick when he leaves Texas, a 7-foot center that will very likely be an NBA prospect after two years in Austin and a very athletic 6-foot-7 wing/F that shoots it from three at 39%. And there will be two more portal additions to the roster, with one being another big man. The current Texas roster now features five players that stand 6-foot-8 or more, with another 6-foot-10 addition on the way. Texas current 2025-26 roster... Tramon Mark, CG, 6-6, Gr. (10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists) Jordan Pope, CG, 6-0, senior (11.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists) Chendall Weaver, G, 6-3, senior (6.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists) Camden Heide, F, 6-7, junior (4.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 39.2% from three at Purdue) Dailyn Swain, F, 6-8, junior (11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals at Xavier) Matas Vokietaitas, C, 7-0, sophomore (10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds at FAU) Malik Presley, G/W, 6-5, RS-sophomore Nic Codie, PF, 6-8.5, sophomore John Clark, PF, 6-8.5, freshman Jamie Vinson, PF, 6-10.5, sophomore Xavier player in portal Texas leads for ... Lassina Traore, C, 6-10, senior (11.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists in 2023-24 at LBSU) Portal targets ... Texas will take one more combo guard, and it will be a shooter with enough size. The 13th scholarship… Texas will be patient here. Could be a young PG or a skilled big to develop. Sean MIller's staff ... Chris Ogden - General Manager Adam Cohen - Associate Head Coach David Miller - Assistant coach Ulric Malagi - assistant coach Ryan Anderson - Assistant coach/Director of player Development Ryan Reynolds - Special Assistant to the Head Coach Cam Miller -Director of Operations Andy Kettler - Head of strength & conditioning Down in the thread Gerry also posted this: Gerry Hamilton The very likely next commitment Gerry Hamilton Lassina Traore will be a quality backup center/big to Matas. Swain and Heide can play four out, with a skilled Swain at four in that lineup Then it really comes down to the three young bigs ... who emerges as the season moves along ... Nic Codie, PF, 6-8.5, sophomore ... a face up 4-man game offensively. Can run the floor. John Clark, PF, 6-8.5, freshman ... the most skilled of the three training with TJ Ford over the years. But a freshman that missed majority of senior season with broken finger on shooting hand. Jamie Vinson, PF, 6-10.5, sophomore ... a floor stretching 4/5 man that can protect the rim. Got to get stronger and continue to get more physical to hold position and rebound in traffic in the SEC. But Texas has a number of options, and at least one of the three will emerge IMO this season as a key role player.
  11. saw this on FB, has anyone tried them?
  12. They just built one near our house ave agree that shake is good
  13. It’s was a legit question since that’s the same shit that’s happened in 2/3 of the games with them. But keep the drinking up you dumbass alcoholic.

  15. Didn’t get to watch due to traveling but I assume we got dominated downlow and couldn’t shoot for shit?
  16. Bold strategy to tank for two years.
  17. CJ Vogel Texas switched up the practice schedule a little bit for practice No. 6. Instead of getting out on the field Friday morning, the staff changed things up for a rare evening practice Thursday night to wrap up week two of the spring. With rain in the forecast for Friday morning, the move makes plenty of sense. But a few nuggets from the first two weeks of the spring. *** Let's Talk DBs – Finding the cornerback opposite of Malik Muhammad has been a priority and will remain one until the answer is clear as day. Right now, there are four names that have been mentioned as candidates for the position – Kobe Black, Warren Roberson, Santana Wilson and Kade Phillips. Heavily contested as you would expect. Kobe Black is in pole position at the moment. There have been positive changes to his body and endurance in the spring thus far. Though close on his heels is Santana Wilson who went through a rare true redshirt a year ago, not seeing the field at all. I have heard Wilson's name on the receiving end of a number of interceptions thus far. Warren Roberson and Kade Phillips have each had moments this spring as well. – At the nickel spot, there are a trio of guys getting run in Keynodo Hudson's room. Wardell Mack was the first guy we saw last week at nickel spot with Jelani McDonald back at safety, though the two have each been getting plenty of looks with the first defense at the position. Mack was listed at 212 on the updated roster, but I don't believe that to be entirely accurate. An interesting name here is Jordon Johnson-Rubell. Texas is getting the young safety some looks near the LOS as well. *** Injury Report Not much has changed and week two was significanty healthier than week one. – TE Jordan Washington remains in a sling after getting dinged last Thursday in practice, he is out for the spring as OTF has reported this week. – EDGE Colton Vasek is out of a sling, but remains a little bit away from seeing the field for spring ball. – DL Justus Terry who was seen in the tent during the media availability of practice one has been good to go. – RB CJ Baxter is getting closer and closer, but is not expected back in the spring. *** Battles on Offense – Really, the battle that I have been keeping my on the closest has been at right tackle with Andre Cojoe and Brandon Baker. Again, the job belongs to Baker currently, but Cojoe isn't going down quietly. Both tackles have seen looks with the first team during best on best periods with the defense so far. The tight end pecking order is razor thin at the moment. Spencer Shannon, walk-on Ridger Barker and early enrollee Emaree Winston is the rotation. I have been told Michael Terry III has exclusively worked at WR since the spring began. Again, Terry is only 215 pounds at the moment. *** Special Teams – I know there are plenty of questions regarding the kicking spot at Texas. There has been little return so far. Bert Auburn and Will Stone remain the options and there has been an ongoing competition between the two in the spring. We will see how this plays out towards the back end of spring, but that's where things sit now. – It was perhaps a bit of a rocky start for new P Jack Bouwmeester as he worked to get acclimated to his new surroundings. But I have learned week two has been much more steady for the 2x All-Conference punter from Utah. The key moving forward will be to find that consistency on a practice to practice basis. **** The next practice for the Longhorns is expected to be Tuesday, April 8th. As a result of practice moving from this morning to Thursday evening, the team will get Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday off. (There will still be film and treatment).
  18. New trophies at the facility
  19. I believe I heard them say on OTF he's already on campus with his entire family
  20. Blake Munroe A top five matchup takes place at the Disch this weekend, as No. 3 Texas hosts No. 4 Georgia beginning today (weather permitting). The Longhorns came out of last weekend's series banged up, with Rylan Galvan, Max Belyeu and Adrian Rodriguez all being injured. Here's the latest on all three. Rylan Galvan - A gametime decision it sounds like, but out of the three, he will be the most likely to play. I'm told that Galvan actually DH'd at Tuesday's practice. Adrian Rodriguez - He hasn't been ruled out as of Friday morning. If he does play this weekend, he won't be at 100%, but this looks to be another game time decision. Max Belyeu - Out this weekend, and for the coming weeks, but sources close to the program are very optimistic that he will return before the end of the regular season. First pitch for the Longhorns is at 6:30 PM. Tonight's game will be televised on SEC Network+.
  21. Next 10 same as last 80
  22. You backwoods southern lawyer son of a bitch!
  23. Gerry Hamilton Texas sits 41 OV's with big OOS addition's The Texas Longhorns sit at 41 official visits scheduled for June with big out of state additions. Sunshine State defensive lineman Kendall Guervil (Fort Myers, Fla./High) and offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe (Bradenton, Fla./IMG Academy via SoCal) are both now locked in for June 20-22 weekend. OTF continues to believe the June OV list will exceed 45, and could reach close to 50.
